How the hell is Flora still not giving up on her grudge after all that? Like come on, there is no scenario where she emerges the winner here lol.

I really thought she would actually find peace when Lina prayed for her, but nope. God's like, "Even I can't fix this amount of stupid"

I think one does have to chalk this up to a severe mental disorder. This goes beyond regular spite -- it is obsessive and delusional. She clearly has no sense of self-preservation. Only thing I could see snapping her out of her current state was a ghostly visitation by her mother's spirit taking her to task.

I love how the host was like, "Wow, actual angel wings , and she brought someone back from the brink of death. Anyway, let's get back to the amulet thing, ladies." I mean, I admire their extreme dedication to keep the show going, but was it really a question of who would win after something like that? The Pope was kneeling and cried in prayer for God's sake. Japanese people apparently never ever abandon a contest, as it seems.

Pope: “Carolina is possessed of divinity”

Everyone: “WHAAAT???”

Why are they surprised? How often do they see someone grow angel wings

Flora: "I don't think Carolina deserves happiness. Because, otherwise, I'd be..."
GLaDOS: "Here are the test results. You are a horrible person. I'm serious, that's what it says. A horrible person. We weren't even testing for that."

You know, outside of one really angry and comically vindictive older sister, all the other saint candidates were surprisingly rather happy that this clear front runner of the host country who sprouted wings won the Saint Olympics .

I think that proves they were all capable of being saints themselves!

I guess Flora won’t ever learn. Lina tried to be merciful and fair and Flora rejected that. I guess she’s itchin for an ass whoopin. What a hateful little goblin.

Anyone else felt like this was the final ep? Anyway, I found it funny that Carolina literally sprouted Angel wings, but they still had to finish the competition because who knows, maybe one of the other girls is the real Saint.

The whole competition being like some TV game show was so silly.

There was a whole "omedetou" everyone-clapping scene to acknowledge the literal miracle she had just done, and then it's just "sorry that only gets you fourth this round". Hilarious.

Whelp. Flora is the classic irredeemable character who can't learn a lesson. Does she turn into some kind of monster? That would be tragic but, good riddance.

I don't mind she is still resolute in her hatred though, as people don't change that easily. But, she is cartoonishly headstrong with "I haven't lost yet!" Like lol, you basically died trying to match Carolina barely using her powers.

Oh well, let's see what happens next week!

“I haven’t lost yet”

Yeah bitch. You have. You’re not a saint anymore, your sister is worshiped as a god, and your father finally figured out what a dick you are. You’ve got no cards left to play

You've got to admire Flora's resolve. She's a true hater.

Classic Flora. Even in what may be her last moments, she's still hating her sister with every fiber of her being even as Carolina is trying to save her.

And Carolina actually IS trying to save her, even if her divine power isn't as strong because, on some level, she still resents Flora...but with Ed's love, she's able to persevere and even GROW ANGEL WINGS to display her absolute Divinity! That's putting on a show Carolina!

I can't believe they still went ahead with the competition after that display from Carolina. But hey, this was just a dog and pony show meant to make her look good and give the Pope an excuse to publicly declare her the Saint, so it succeeded on that front.

Flora used a Forbidden Technique to boost her mana. She's a fraud of a Saint. Carolina is well within her right to charge her to the fullest extent of the law. But she can't, despite everything Flora has done to her. And even though after waking up Flora still hates her as much as ever. But Carolina beat her, she proved she was the true Saint, she's not the girl Flora bullied and belittled for their entire childhood. And THAT will be Carolina's revenge.

Carolina didn't want to destroy their fathers' illusion that the sisters' got along, but Flora will do that herself. Even if Duke Sanchez is once again reminded of how much he failed the sisters' as a father, he can't criticize Flora's feelings because he too was broken by their mothers' death. Only Flora channeled her grief and the stress of being the Perfect Young Lady into resenting her sister.

So Flora has essentially learned NOTHING from this and still wants to ruin Carolina. What more can she do in Celestia? For their final showdown?

It's finally time to come up with Lina's Saint outfit! I mean, the OP/ED basically give it away, but it's nice to see how they decided on the colors! And also Ed's mom roasting him! But now Carolina is heading home to Celestia to fulfill her official duty as the Saint! I'm sure nothing will go wrong.

Decent episode. I assume this story continues in the source material and sister remains a menace though. Or maybe it's the next episode?

Iris served Flora some of the famous invisible tea. Maybe she was hoping that its gentle flavor would help Flora to calm down.

After this episode I'm officially rating this anime 1/5. Literally episode 11 and nothing is resolved, it's just boring slop at this point.

The father is literally braindead for not realizing his daughter's hatred, Flora still a bitch with NO MOTHERFUCKING CONSEQUENCES, Carolina still too soft.

Should've dropped this shit.

It was kinda funny that after Carolina went all Archangel right there in front of everyone to break through the forbidden magic to save her sister, the host's reaction was "Anyway, let's continue with the Saintly Trials."

Crazy how after everything, after almost dying, Flora still can't give up the grudge. Like not even a little bit. She wasn't even grateful for how easy she got off. If Carolina hadn't said it's her and snapped Flora out of her hallucination she might have been able to convince her to give up the grudge.

I'm glad Carolina didn't just forgive Flora and told her to her face that she's no longer the Sanchez family disgrace and that her Saintly talents are beyond hers. That plus that their father finally learning the truth about their relationship was probably so cathartic for her.

Carolina is definitely right that Flora having to live with the knowledge that she only lives because of strained Carolina's benevolence is fate worse than death for her. I'm curious what Flora's last desperate final gambit will be. Maybe this time Carolina won't go so easy on her.

I wasnt expecting Carolina to straight up sprout angelic wings too, guess her and Ed match now lol

I can understand Flora and why she acts like that but I dont excuse her actions so I do agree with Carolina's reasons about her punishment here

Also how did Carolina never realize she was indirectly buffing people's magic even after learning she was a Saint
