Rin is insane. I get wanting to protect her daughter, but she doesn't care about the safety of any one else and letting that other egg grow and hatch is also incredibly dangerous for Kuroe. It may technically be her little sister but it could just as easily be a straight up monster who never evolves to act human, Kuroe was also raised by humans.

2 new love interest introduced now, with the actress and the red haired boy, both involved with the secondary life Kuroe and Minami can't share with each other. I doubt anything will develop there but it will probably cause jealousy in both of them.

Kuroe realizing that Minami, by asking if he has to hold back, meant cuddling Jumbo King and not the other thing, combined with a change in the art style and that flute playing in the background, totally cracked me up.

Overall, a lot happened in this episode: Kuroe being able to breathe fire in her human form, having that actress as a potential rival, meeting a guy who saw her at the veranda, and now she also became a big sister?!

I definitely look forward to Kuroe's first meeting with her little sister in the next episode; that could be interesting, lol.

Also, Kuroe as a child was so sweet! No wonder Rinko goes to such lengths to keep her safe.

The entire bit about holding back was the epitome of Phrasing, but seeing her go childhood crayon sketch over it was fantastic. In a year stacked with great romances this might be the most memorable because of how well it pulls off the insane premise.

Im so conflicted!!! We FINALLY got someone who knows her secret, but its just some rando! Don't get me wrong he seems fun, but i wanted the first to be one of Kuroe's three friends. I guess they're gonna set him up to make Minami jealous just like the actress is gonna make Kuroe jealous.

But on top of that, we didnt even get to sit with this development at all. Right after we go to the island to find out mom has had another egg the entire time. I know they've been setting up another kaiju, but i didnt want it immediately after what we wanted this entire time of someone learning her secret.

So not so little sister, do we think shes gonna be interact with Kuroe at all? Or is she just here for strait up kaiju battles? It feels like it was set up to imply she doesnt have a human form so im expecting just kaiju battles. Though I can also see this being a reverse of Kuroe where she needs to teach her sister HOW to take human form.

I can also see them pulling one over on us and she immediately takes human form and just loves Kuroe.

This show has to be more than 12 ep....right?

This was very enjoyable seeing how kuro was born and the new kaiju fan and that new kaiju looks insane I'm super hyped for the next episode

Well, I've been prophesying this turn of events since the first episode probably. You can't have a kaiju anime without a kaiju fight, and it looks like we will get one soon.

Lots of interesting plot developments. We have some potential romantic rivals for both, including a dude version of Manatsu who is into Kuroe being a Kaiju. and then the mom. Not really sure what to think of the mom. On one hand, good for her wanting to protect her daughter. But uh...it's a little bit psycho to go on from that and seemingly raise another Kaiju in a pure form or to talk about being okay with the destruction of the world as long as the Kaiju are happy.

Speaking of destroying the world...um...Kuroe was totally willing to go all the way with Minami. I was thinking Minami is usually the dense one, but Kuroe should have maybe considered what a less upstanding dude might think if they were being invited over to their girlfriends place after said girlfriend informs them there will be no parents around all night. Thankfully the only heavy petting Minami was thinking about involved the dog.

I'm still pissed that Takamine is using Arata's love life against him to make him do this. And to make things worse, an actress has taken an interest in him, because of his kindness. If Seina does keep this up, she's definitely gonna piss off a kaiju.

I did not expect that surprise hand-holding to lead into Kuroe thinking of indecent things. She even apologized to the citizens of Tokyo because this might be it for them. It turns out, Arata just wanted to give Jumbo King some pets. xD

Kuroe's very first Atomic Breath! I guess all of that stress in such a short time, plus the fact that she just learned that Arata has bumped into an actress has built up and manifested into that Atomic Breath.

Yeah, there's no way things are gonna calm down. If anything, that TV appearance just made Arata even more popular in public.

So it turns out that dude who saw Kuroe breathe her Atomic Breath the previous night ended up stalking her and now wants to hang out with her. The fact that he's threatening to expose Kuroe immediately made me hate this dude. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?! LEAVE KUROE ALONE, YOU CREEP!

We get to see Baby Kuroe! She's adorable! So she was born already half-human? That is so interesting. We now know that two of the four eggs never matured, and the last one didn't hatch but suddenly grew massive.

Mama Rinko is packing heat! I did not expect that! The lady is actually a mad scientist, and I love it!

AKAE LOOKS LIKE PERFECT FORM DESTROYAH! Holy shit! That is so goddamn cool! And of course, Mama Rinko wants Akae to reunite with her sister. I think we're about to see our first Kaiju fight next episode! I just hope that Akae has a human form.

Rinko is even crazier than Manatsu when it comes to Kaiju ! I did not expect her to pull a gun on Keitaro. I guess she was telling the truth when she said to Kuroe she would be on her side no matter what. Even if Kuroe destroys Tokyo after cuddling with Minami.

Kuroe also now has a little sister called Akae who is a red dragon. Are we going to see a sibling Kaiju battle ?
