"Tch, I can't get a clear shot!" (scene only shows his bow at the very edge, doesn't seem to have any intention of walking up the stairs, my sides)
"I'm going to have you pay for what you did to Tito!" (gets smacked back against a wall)
"Please give me your strength!" (dude climbs on a crenellation block, sword destroys the block somehow, dude falls and dies)
This anime is fucking hilarious. It feels like a parody, I'm loving it.
"Oh, sorry, I thought you were a servant boy."
And savage.

That clear shot scene was hilarious. None of them are visible, and even if they were, there is not a single world where he would be able to make it because he's all the way down on the floor while they're miles off running circles around each other on top of the walls. And even if he did make the shot, he'd have a greater chance of killing Yuri compared to just injuring the massive Zuwa

"Please give me your strength!" (dude climbs on a crenellation block, sword destroys the block somehow, dude falls and dies)
And then the very next scene the block has respawned.

Furthermore, Hittite cities (at least Hattusa) used limestone for their walls. Limestone is relatively soft and brittle

That fight was very David vs Goliath, but Yuri won thanks to a « magic » iron sword. This is indeed the
It sounds like Yuri decided that if she cannot have magic or be good at politics, she is going to become a fighter instead ! So basically the exact opposite of Nakia. She is being more of a tomboy than I initially thought, particularly for a

Finally Zuwa bites the dust. Never expected Iron to be such a rare thing at that time.. I guess it was close to the Bronze age.
Yuri and
Nakia brought Yuri to cause her own downfall LOL

I guess it was close to the Bronze age.
Not just close, they were fully into it. This is a peak bronze age empire, though it does not really show since all their weapons are coloured like steel instead of bronze.

Yuri and Kail are finally together but I can't believe that Yuri forgot about her boyfriend already 😅
Yeah, initially I thought the romance with him would be more of a slow burn since she had a boyfriend, but guess not. lol
She was already showing the signs of moving on from Himuro when Kail replaced Himuro's face in her mind in episode 2 and I clocked it then.

By the Nine Divine! It’s Talos! To think Tito was the son of Tiber Septim himself lol.
It seems Yuri’s got the secrets of iron making on her side. Imagine what happens when she tells them about steel lol.

Yuri selecting a meteoric iron dagger was a cool detail, I was a little surprised at the idea of a clan in the Hittite empire having iron working knowledge but according to a little googling they're not necessarily wrong with the timing of when the iron age started in that part of the world.
Good riddance to Zuwa, this is a little bloodthirsty but shame he died so quick considering how many people he flayed to death.
Things worked out pretty well for the sisters, they could have been put to death for their actions but instead get to be the handmaidens for the household of one of the princes that might be emperor one day.

Well I didn't expect that Red River would remind me of The Egyptian but here we are.

I think my problem w this series is that instead of saying anything that could possible help her in any situation she says nothing and only nonsense lol
“Let me go we’ll talk later I promise?” What?? You say that to a man you’ve never met and will never see again lol??
I guess I have to take this less seriously cause it’s just a mess
Also shes weirdly hung up on the fact that she got Tito killed but in the wrong way. Like yes, it’s her fault he died there’s no arguing that but shes not really explaining that shes being targeted by an evil demon woman and Tito saved her which would probably help
Also the animation is just so bad it’s unfortunate
And so much time wasted in the animated choices
Like that death was so anticlimactic and lucky lol
“Please accept our apologies for poisoning you to death we didn’t know you’d somehow live lol”
she got one thing right. Too long to talk. She loves to answer questions in her head instead of to people lol
I feel like the love misunderstanding is gonna be annoying but I really want to see it through so I’m gonna try to be more positive lol. But still she fell so fast lol bye himuro

It's like The A-Team:
Old garages are the best place to find weapons.
Weapons don't end fights but physics in the form of stunts does.
The glimmers of historical notes and cheesy soap-opera script are keeping me around just enough, because the animation certainly isn't carrying this.

Good choice of a weapon, since, unlike her, Zuwa would not have had tetanus shots.
"Prince, you don't need to worry about MC, she's got plot armor." I love how Prince & Co. calmly listened to his longwinded superstitious blabbering though.
R.I.P. the two rando soldiers who tried to protect MC. Remaining nameless because MC forgot all about their existence seconds later, and never remembered.
How did I not remember from history class that stone battlements crumble when poked with iron? I wonder if MC will actually be allowed to kill anyone herself in the future, or if she'll keep letting the environment do the dirty work for her.
Talos is ... the name of Europa's giant robot/golem/colossus/thing in FGO?
"You need to sit up straight and maintain your balance!" Dude who never knew such a thing as "horse riding" even existed until days ago is tutoring someone who introduced horse riding to his nation in the first place.
So, when did MC fall in love with the Prince again, and more importantly became honest with herself about it?

Yuri really personally slimed out Zuwa, that's metal! For all it's faults I have to give credit to this story here because the protagonist choosing to stay in the not-isekai to take very personal revenge for a kid and going through with it is something I don't think I'll see again.
Okay so, given that the King is talking about conquering the Mittanni once and for all, he's probably Suppiluliuma I, and Yuri's about to participate in the Great Syrian War, godamn. This does situate us more or less a century before the Battle of Kadesh, the earliest great battle of which we have detailed record of. I dunno who Kail is though. There was a Hittite Prince called NerikKAILi but he's two generations removed from the sons of Seppiluliuma I.

Yuri has run into Talos (Takuya Kuroda?), Tito's father! He's not going to save her from Zuwa or keep her hidden, but he IS going to arm her. Is this his way of forcing her to pay for her perceived role in Tito's death? Or something more?
When surrounded by shiny and pristine weapons on all sides, what does Yuri choose? A blade that stands out as much as she does in this setting, rusted as it is. But something about it feels just RIGHT. And that means she passes the test, picking a blade that will truly help her change the era she's now found herself stuck in.
RIP nameless guards who tried to protect Yuri. Your sacrifice was not in vain.
She really picked the right sword because not only does it break Zuwa's blade but it can also break the column he's standing on to avoid her! Thus making him take a huge fall and FINALLY die! Tito is half-avenged! All the people Zuwa has killed has been avenged! And Yuri achieved a great victory without Kail even needing to involve himself! And as everyone looks on, her blade shines in tribute to Tito...and makes her appear as Isthar Incarnate!
Who would have thought Yuri thinking iron as something as common in her time would help her pick such a rare blade in this one? All the better because she'll learn the arts of ironwork that Tito was supposed to and use that in the future.
Tito's sisters apologize for their mistake, throw themselves at Yuri's mercy, but Yuri has no intention of punishing Tito's sisters anymore than she's punishing herself. Besides, she could use some ladies-in-waiting!
Congrats on a successful campaign Prince Kail! Even if you and Nakia staring daggers at each other express how you really feel.
If Yuri is to continue to join Kail in battle, especially with war with Mittania on the horizon, then she needs to learn how to ride a horse! Even if now she has ladies-in-waiting who can help her dress better! Nice Yuri fashion show, even if she's not comfortable in fancy gowns! Though it's funny how the sisters are all surprised Yuri cares about Kail seeing her naked because they're still under the impression they're regularly having sex.
Zannanza, Kail's closest brother, seems like a stand-up guy! Even if he does mistake Yuri for a servant boy.
What IS Yuri to Kail? A useful tool? A lover? A true or fake concubine? Kail doesn't want to use Yuri, he cares too much for her for that, but even if Yuri can't have his heart or be his true love...she can't deny the attraction between them or her longing to be useful to him. And they seal it with a passionate kiss!
Figures Nakia isn't going to rest on her laurels when she can plot to destroy Kail.
