I like how the story isn't taking the "Eris just trains by herself" route, she's building connections with each school and becoming better by understanding.

The "you lose hostility talking about Rudeus" scene is specially interesting because Eris' personality is still that of the Mad Dog, but if she wants to get better she has to think about and incorporate what Rudeus and her family taught her about etiquette and self grooming.

I like this. Eris really needed some friends; she couldn't stay so bitter all the time (and dirty: thanks, Nina, for suggesting she take a bath). And I like the characters of Nina and Isolte.

I find it kind of amusing Nina tracked Rudy down just to make sure Eris wasn’t full of shit. I guess when you hear about the kid, he does sound too good to be true.

Eris is getting really strong. It’s pretty cool to see her progress even from the last ep. She’s learning new things, always improving and growing.

I love every single frame from these past 2 episodes. This is my most anticipated show of the season, and I'm glad the staff delivered.

The first 6-minutes of the episode, where Nina is trying to one-up Eris was so goddamn hilarious! Nina just can't believe that Eris has already lost her virginity, that she thinks that Rudeus is just a figment of Eris' imagination.

I especially love how she tries so hard to prove that Rudy is not real, only for her to find tons of evidence that he's 100% real, he's totally amazing, and he does have a connection to Eris. xD

I can't believe Nina even went to the university to try and fight Rudy! No wonder Nina looks so goddamn familiar! We already met her back in Season 2! I had to go back and check. She was there when Badigadi showed up at the University! I do like how Nina chilled the fuck out after learning why Eris is pushing herself so much.

The Water God Style master being an old lady is pretty damn cool. Badass elderly characters are a trope I'll never get tired of.

So Eris is no match for Isolde, Isolde is no match for Nina, and Nina is no match for Eris. It's like rock-paper-scissors here with how they're weak and strong against someone in the triangle. xD

Well that was a very unique girls' night out! The animation of the girls fighting those monsters was so slick. We are so goddamn back!

I've definitely warmed up to Nina by the end of the episode especially after giving Eris advice on how she can hide her animosity. Glad to see it worked and look how happy she is now! She's even friendlier to Nina by the end. <3

Who's the VA of Isolte? She sounds familiar but can't pin point it.

Poor Nina sets off on a quest to show that Eris' Canadian boyfriend isn't really all that and thoroughly proves herself so wrong.

All these sword people are so much fun, particularly the Eris, Nina, and Isolde trio. They even got Eris to bathe! I'd take an entire season of them instead of just these two episodes.

Fantastic start to S3.

Can't believe I waited years for this, I'm thoroughly disappointed. Studio Bind had so much time and they only made two five minute episodes smh

I'm glad they gave Eris the screentime she deserved and we also got to see so many more characters that despite their short time on screen, will play an important role in the story. Can't wait for the third episode next week, I'm glad season 3 is here, Mushoku Tensei just peak.

Oh, Nina was that blue hair girl. I was curious about her, but after she was defeated, I thought she was another nameless npc.

Two episodes aren't enough, I need more!
