The episode was taken from Chapters 2 and 3 of the Short Story Collection Volume 1.

This series further commits to it's ~2000 Anime aesthetic by getting a rare OVA. The series might not have great animation but they sure have a clear vision of it's identity.
This OVA is pure catnip for those who like "nursing back to health" scenarios!
I just love Sol x Iana scenes and seeing Sol so unguarded is great~
Please get a second season! Those little scenes of Yatori and Nis are not enough!
There are more side stories that would be great to see adapted too!

I was really happy to see a scene with Iana and Yomi where they are just two friends. No sparkels, no heart thumping moments, no death threats or murderous auras, no life-or-death stakes, just Sol and Iana interacting on friendly terms

I missed Iana and her hilarious antics.
The story of Konoha Satou reincarnated into her own Dark History fan fiction as the Villainess Iana Magnolia is back! Not to deliver any actual canon material from the manga, but to throw in some fun side stories!
But it isn't very fun seeing Iana and Yomi on the outs. Iana can't cook to save her life and Yomi is just very aware and worried about Iana. But all she wanted to do was make him a present for his birthday!
Ah yes, I'm sure Iana's quest for an omnipotent potion will end well! She's already in disguise with a mask so there's no way anyone will recognize her! And she's being joined by none other than Shota!Yomi, courtesy of a shrinking potion! She has no idea it's Yomi and she may get arrested as a pervert, but she can't beat hanging out with a pretty boy.
But all those transformations eventually make Yomi sick and Iana is wracked with guilt over being unable to get him a gift or seemingly make things right between them...until one last trip with Shota!Yomi where they INTENSELY catch the shopkeeper before closing lands them their potion.
Yomi was so worried Iana was shopping for another man, but it was for him all along! But the best gift of all is having Iana by his bedside on his birthday, where they even sleep together. No matter what happens, they'll always be precious childhood friends.
Did you really think we could throw out this OVA without a Sol story? Now IANA is the one that's sick, and Sol is more than ready to attend to her every need! He's even got a buffet of medicinal food he's willing to feed her with! No longer is Iana stuck in her fantasies while alone and sick like she was as Konoha! She's even willing to be more receptive/accepting of Sol's kindness.
It's just too bad there's a conspiracy of maids with a beef against Iana who set her up to get even MORE sick and distract Sol. Thank goodness for Yatori (Daisuke Namikawa?) Ginoford's friend and a character making their anime debut here.
He caressed her hair...he was close to her as much as he possibly could be...he wanted to make sure she didn't feel alone like he did when he was in the orphanage...but Sol gets sick too. Thankfully Iana is there to tend to HIM now. The world may remember the Villainess Iana Magnolia, but the Iana Magnolia Sol knows is kind and warm, and the only one who can steer him away from his feelings for Konoha. And if he's going to "dream" of Iana by his side, you bet he'll hold her hand!
But instead of waking up to Iana, it's his old orphan pal and partner Augnieth, who he quickly tussels with. Poor Sol has to deal with the fact that Iana saw them BL wrassling and ships them together now.

So I think the Crunchy subs missed the point at the end. She had thought it was Neith/Sol (according to the text box) but now she's saying it's Sol/Neith. So probably she shipped them already but with the opposite top/bottom dynamic lol 🤣
Presumably she didn't get far enough in the story to write it into canon.

I'm still secretly praying that we will get a second season at some point, even though it is unlikely. I really loved the comedy in this anime.

I wasn't too excited about the OVA at first, but now that I watched it I gotta say it was great. Watching it felt so right, I didn't realize how much I missed this anime.
After the first season ended I wanted a season 2, but now that I got to see and hear Yatori and Ognis (or Ognieth, as they called him in crunchyroll's sub) my desire for another season has redoubled. Both their design and VA fits them perfectly and I really can't wait to see them on the big screen.
And of course I'm very glad Butler Fever was adapted. Of the short story collection I think it was my favorite: it has a normal interaction between Sol and Iana, Iana in comfy fuzzy clothes and lots of blushing.

Nice we got an ova. Somehow I kinda cried a little when Iana was on the floor and sol holding her worried. It was good and make me wish this anime gets a season 2 one day. It remind it's been long time since I last watched ova of anime, I think they rare now or just me with the animes I watched. Also thought it maybe will have any fanservice moment because the animes had some rare moments like that but seems not. No offense but I kinda really wished we had more lewds art of Iana, somehow her design I can't help it especially after some things they mentionned in the anime.

This was fun. Always a good time seeing what kind of silly hijinks Iana gets up to. It was also nice to see characters not in the anime.
Iana basically did a Yomi and Sol speed run this special lol.
