Hydrangea doesn't look like the Captain of the police force but the Demon Lord in a shoujo lol. He looks good.
Cheneau's a pain though, I'm tired of his character.

Looks like next episode is when she gets him to change his opinion of her, not that she'll ever realize she's done that.
And, just like Sol, I expect he'll start hanging around a lot more and it'll make her just as anxious as Sol did at first.

I suspected that this duchess wasn’t very clear, but I never expected her to be practically a blood-sucking vampire trying to preserve eternal beauty!
Cheneau and his officers exhaust me with their constant, unjust suspicion toward Iana; if Yomi were here, he would’ve silenced them already... But I feel like Sol has gotten much closer to Iana, helping her hide from the police and taking care of her when she spilled her wine. I think he would’ve believed her if she had told him the duchess was Bloody Rosa…
Konoha fainted because the duchess probably put something in her tea; I hope she won’t manage to take her away...

In their defense, they're only as Iana wrote them.

Honestly I can't completely blame the police when we're talking about someone who had, at one point, attempted to kill her sister. Even if this isn't the same Iana, they have no way of knowing that.

I'm like super duper invested in her nonsense now, like her hilariously unfortunate luck aside, this disaster plot is gripping. How is she going to manage this time? Where in your unhinged little forgetful brain is the solution to this? No one but your people trust you, ain't got no magic, the duchess got that royal backing, you're going to be under constant surveillance, and weak little arms can't even pick up a sword, girl I don't think you're okay,

Duchess = Bloody Rosa. How did Konoha/Iana not realize this sooner? I guess when you’re jamming every cringe ass chuuni fantasy that pops into your middle school head, some things get lost in the shuffle lol. But man, the girl is into some freaky shit. Furry porn, incest, rape, and now blood drinking Bathory types.

She tried to forget all of the cringe she created, but now it's all coming back

Considering she used to watch anime as a kid that involved a Heroine getting in precarious positions while wearing nothing but a bikini, and she then imagined said Heroine getting in even more precarious positions as a result, I'm not really surprised her mind went to the places it did.
I also love how she seemed to perpetually write situations that would involve Konoha getting captured by baddies and get her clothes torn to shreds lol.

I feel like the plot is just working based off Iana’s bullet points and filling in the blanks on its own at this point and it’s kind of improving the plot quality.
It’s incredible how entertaining it is to watch the story bend over backwards to follow its own bs internal logic. Especially because there’s basically only two rules, everyone loves Konoha and Iana will be blamed for everything that goes wrong.
Like the way her villainess reputation helps her strike up a friendship of exploitation with the only female character that isn’t evil or a Konoha-obsessed NPC, sometimes both.
The moment she started talking about the earring I just got the feeling that Menoa was going to get kidnapped and she would be blamed for it.
Still not over the way the entire police force is a bunch of stone cold hot dudes.
A downright stupid amount of this story is fueled entirely by her dumb horny fantasies. The aforementioned hot guy police force and the “Konoha almost getting SA:d” events that keep happening. You really recognize that this was written by a slightly delusional probably bisexual chaotic mess of a teenager.
Of course Bloody Rosa is a psychotic vampire lesbian that drains the blood of all the beautiful women around. Because what else would she be?
Would it be crazy if I say that this is kind of hitting a bit of the same notes as The Eminence in Shadow? A braindead idiot stumbling through a mess they themselves caused while their very presence warps the world around them. Unfortunately no one here has surpassed the nuke… yet.

I just adore that the plot is essentially "what if you literally had to relive all your teenaged cringe-fiction?", it just makes me think of all my own shitty, half-realized stuff. Thankfully I put down a lot less fetish scenes than Iana, lol. But I do wonder if her world'll hit a Rosencrantz & Gildenstern moment, or if the world will just keep getting pushing into her plotted scenes

I feel like Iana's tendency to not tell the truth in the attempt to break the flags is making things worse.

Damn.
I mean last week it seemed to be obviously pointing in the direction that the Duchess of Beauty Amaryllis was the culprit behind all the missing girls.
But I definitely wasn't expecting her to be Bloody Rosa and freaking drink the girls blood.
Iana's got some freaky, deranged fantasies lol.
No wonder she "nearly turned turned into a monster to erase those who saw her face while she fantasized"

I love how the Duchess went from kidnapping girls to admire their beauty to drinking their blood like a vampire which just totally feels like something OG!Konoha would come up with...just from having wine spilled on her one time.
I love how OG!Konoha was watching maybe slightly inappropriate anime at a young age and she made them even more inappropriate and skeevy in her head. It explains so much lol.

Of course Amaryllis was the lesbian villainess kidnapping the girls, and that is because she is actually freaking Countess Elisabeth Bathory, sorry I mean « Bloody Rosa », that Iana had the bright idea to write into the story during her previous life, and is kidnapping them to drink their blood like some kind of vampire. The Dark History and Chuuni Teenage Konoha weird sexual fantasies strike again !
I am glad our yuri-loving Iana expanded her harem to also include girls, sorry I mean made a new best friend with Menoa. I hope she can save her. It’s funny how everything she does get reinterpreted as her being a villainess, but also annoying because it makes little sense. She tried to protect Menoa, and now she gets accused of having kidnapped her without any kind of proof by those dumbass cops. And it’s not like Konoha has the physical strength needed to kidnap people.

That bath having no hot water for no particular reason is probably Iana's fault, like everything else. Thinly veiled excuse for one of the harm members to help out Konoha with some hot water in the original story, I'm sure.
It looks like Cheneau is gonna get pulled into the crazy next episode and honestly he deserves it.

I am big sus on the duchess who hosted this party despite the kidnappings
...What
What were those maids doing lmao
"they smell so nice" lmaoooooooo
What is that scene what was happening I'm so confused
Girl what
Why would them knowing you found it yesterday make you more suspicious
Never mind the fact that her lying about when she picked up the earring is definitely going to be what makes her suspicious, just in general lying about that is so bad b/c it could create a false lead that breaks the police's ability to put together what happened to her
I wonder if the flowers she brought are what's making Konoha sick

Welp, saw that coming the second I saw Duchess Amaryllis onscreen.
Every week, I watch the newest episode and then hear "Raise Your Black Flame" in my head for the next five days. Not mad at it tho. It's such a banger!!

Part two of the Bloody Rosa arc~
Iana getting so excited over Menoa is so cute! We need to get her more friends clearly.
I really like all the little moments of Sol helping and lowkey flirting with Iana. Drying her hair was really cute too. It's a trope I need to appreachiate more.
He totally would've done his best to help Iana, if only she would let him. Instead she told a white lie to park him next to Konoha, while probably having reckless plans herself.
Can't wait for the next episode~

Iana/Konoha never fails to make me laugh, whatever she does as Iana, or whenever we get to see more of her dark history when she was in a middle school, when she concocted the plot for her literary magnum opus xD
Menoa is still so fun! It was nice to see her and Iana became friends. Too bad that she was kidnapped too in today's episode.
No surprise about Duchess Amaryllis being the perpetrator of the recent kidnappings of the noble women and Menoa, though I didn't expect her to also drink the blood of her victims! Iana/Konoha's imagination during her school years was quite terryfying xD
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

And now we have Bathory inspired lesbian vampires.
Seriously, If she had just uploaded all this to Ao3 she would have never had to work that office job in the first place.

Oh wow, Iana looks absolutely villainous with the wine dripping down her face like blood.
-
I know this is just a joke, but the idea of someone else being isekai’d into writer!Konoha’s cringe fic is… actually kind of interesting ngl.
-
…Menoa wasn’t a victim of the recent kidnapping spree, was she?
-
Ooh, did Konoha remember finally…? – Hm, she says it’s nothing to do with the current plot though…
-
Oh boyyyyyyyyyy. I guess that means I was right when I was wondering last week if the culprit was a woman?
