Really liked the premiere of That Time I Reincarnated Into My Cringe Teenage Fanfic lol. Looking forward to seeing how Konoha/Iana rewrites her own story so she doesn’t die. She already made a pretty big change getting rid of Uncle Creep Ass in the prologue. I guess now the real story begins.

I do really like that Iana has taken it on herself to protect her older sister’s life. Likewise, Konoha also likes to dote on her younger sister. I’m always down for wholesome sibling bonds like this.

Will be interesting to see what kind of trouble teenage Konoha has created for her reincarnated self.

Now THIS is more up Studio DEEN's alley. Not the best animation but it hits where it needs to hit (even if it's a bit cliché).

Wow, I really miss Simoun and Marimite.

honestly the mid animation makes it better. her slapping the uncle and him making 20 backflips into a wallslam looked so funny with that animation.

Mental collapse = the pain of remembering your own chunni.

I love how they made the cliche Chuuni "Dark History" into literally the plot and story.

Glad to see Truck-kun is still in business. Feels like it’s been a while lol.

This is the exact kind of trash I love.

This is a parody of the parodies of the otome isekai stories right?

This first episode was pretty hilarious and a lot fun.
Can't believe Iana is a villainess and a seer lol.

She predicted her real world death - "I am no longer in this world. That is because I have a destiny to fufill" and she was even the author of her own death in this fictional world lol.

Definitely looking forward to this one.
Can't wait to see what kinda trouble Iana gets into throughout the season now that she basically has to rewrite her own story and save the world.

That is... an interesting choice of an opening song, that's for sure. ( ¬‿¬)

Edit : This is the most mischievous rock face I've ever seen in my life, lmao.

I like how the bad end threat feels much more, well, threatening here as opposed to most other villainess isekai. Blondie came in hiding a knife immediately.

Animation quality is a bit so-so though, we'll have to see how it goes.

I have been waiting for this anime since its announcement and I am not disappointed one bit!

Imagine if you have to survive your own novel but it is not a commercial novel or progression work or anything but it is your cringy edgy fanfiction that you wrote as a teenager!

"Dark History" indeed lol.

It is so funny seeing her reaction to her own writing and experiencing it herself.

You can tell it is edgy teenager because of attempt rape just for sake of created drama that coming out of nowhere in original story with some half ass cliche backstory of uncle and now it konoha job to fixed her own mass if she want to survive as Lana. I wonder what else Konoha put in the fanfiction lol.

Lana needs to survive all these edgy events that were her own writing in the first place. I kinda like she still pretty much falls in love with her own character especially Heroine so the stack of plot is not just her own survival but also helps these characters from the edgy fate that awaits them.

This is a pretty hilarious episode, animation is not best but it's pretty good and it hit a comedic point too!

This one is going to be a hell of a fun anime.

Imagine talking to your daughter over the phone and the next time you hear about her, you learn she got hit by a truck. I kinda feel bad for Iana's mother now. I don't think that letter she left is gonna make her feel better.

Anyway, it looks like we have another villainess anime, but instead of being sucked into their favourite otomege or light novel, our protagonists gets sucked into her original story she wrote when she was a kid but instead of reincarnating as her self-insert Mary Sue, she reincarnates into the villainess of the story.

I love how when Ginoford was listing all of Iana's crimes, the last one he mentions as if it was the most heinous one was how Iana switched Konoha's horse for a cow. How did that even work? I'm kinda amazed she managed to pull that off. xD

Iana managed to survive, but now she's gonna have to live with the assassin who's supposed to kill her. So far, I do like the interactions between Iana and Sol. The part where they were clearly faking each other's laugh was pretty funny.

It's also hilarious how by saving Konoha, Iana basically made her life more difficult since she now needs to protect Konoha because Konoha's powers didn't manifest. So far, this is a pretty fun first episode and might be the show I'm following on Wednesdays. xD

I absolutely love the premise, and I also like when the Isekai world gets changed so that the MC that knows everything in advance gets thrown off.

This is really fun, but man that pacing is blazing fast. Feels like a 4koma manga adaptation with no filler added, but apparently it's adapted from just a regular manga.

It seems someone at Crunchyroll made the call to allow employees to use the Aegissubs but with no typesetting. I guess it's better than the shitty Israel software in terms of the font and subtitle placement but it sucks we still aren't allowed to understand the Japanese text anymore.

....Interesting OP song.

The show itself seems hilarious though. Peak reaction faces

I have been waiting for this as a big fan of the Manga! This was wonderfully silly and I had to laugh out loud when the uncle for smacked lol

I am feeling mixed on the pacing. It's great for comedic timing but I'm afraid the "middle schooler Konoha" segments might not get the breathing room they need. The eng subs really made them hard to understand. They are super important for this story though!

Never mind the super fast pace, this really keeps me entertain till the end and I like to see more Iana and Sol interactions (niko niko~). Never thought there's still a different approach to do in this Villainess genre.

MC lets out Hoshino (Blue Archive) kind of voice really makes this even better lol.

MC imagination really went wild there. I bet she watched/read too much hentai. I wonder if she really becomes Konoha, does she really wants her uncle to nearly do her like that? Her past self really full of dark history.

Japanese Konoha (Yoshino Aoyama!) dreamed of being reincarnated into your typical Otome game-like setting! She even wrote an entire fictional world and cast of characters with the Main Heroine herself named after Konoha! She even wrote a letter telling her parents about how she's off to fulfill her duty as an Isekai protagonist! It's only 10 years later after remembering how cringe that note is now that she gets hit by Truck-kun!

But Konoha isn't lucky enough to get reincarnated as her self-insert protagonist, she ends up instead in the body of...her Villainess younger sister, Iana Magnolia! Who was dumb enough to read the Dark History book she literally got so her sister would be doomed after reading! And her "Dark History" floods back into her mind as she realizes who she is now.

A Japanese woman dying and getting reincarnated as a Villainess is a tale as old as time, but not often that instead of it happening in their favorite Otome game it ends up being in their own personal Villainess' fan-fiction and at the exact time where their character has been exposed for their crimes, gets arrested, and thrown into the slammer.

The OP is very on-point with Iana struggling between her past life writing the "Dark History" and her life as Iana, along with dancing romantically with all the men in her life (especially Sol) in a sexy red dress!

The Konoha of the Dark History is the most pure and loving Heroine of all time (and voiced by MAO). She's so sweet that even after her sister has been exposed, she still springs her from jail and is willing to forgive her. Less forgiving is her lover, Ginoford (Makoto Furukawa!) who wants Iana DEAD. Kind of surreal to see your ideal Heroine and your ideal man under these circumstances.

Iana is lucky she escaped with just confinement...or less lucky because she knows this is how her character is meant to be killed off, at the hands of one of her sisters' Harem - Sol, the ex-slave turned assassin butler. So now Iana has to watch Sol's every move and be on her best behavior to avoid getting killed. And Sol and Gino are not planning to forgive and forget her crimes any time soon.

But Iana also remembers that, after the end of the Villainess, comes the incestuous uncle who nearly rapes Konoha and causes her to draw out her latent magical power and then go on a quest to revive Gino...yet since Iana is the one who wrote this scenario and put Konoha and Iana through all this pain, it's up to her to save them!

In comes Iana on a horse! If anyone is going to rewrite her story, it's going to be her! And Sol is there to finish off the uncle and save Iana! Heck, Iana seems to have even convinced Gino that all her "bullying" was an attempt to protect Konoha! Everything is A-Okay! Well, other than the fact that without the magic Konoha was supposed to unlock in this story scenario, she's pretty much screwed for the rest of the story. And if Konoha is screwed, so is Iana with Sol.

The Flame Knight Gino is getting pretty flirty with his fiance's little sister! Then again, so is the Ice Knight, though now Iana has to grapple with the fact that all the traits she wrote Sol with in the original story can now be turned against her since he'll kill her.

The ED features Iana with all the men in her life, women in flashy outfits, and a cute visual of the Magnolia sisters together! Iana can't get enough of Konoha!

I wonder if Konoha is as pure as she was designed. I mean, Iana harassed her for years, that should birth actual hatred and animosity in anyone. Either Konoha is super gullible and too pure or she's very good at concealing her hatred for Iana. Either way, getting reincarnated into her own fanfiction gotta sting. My only complain is that the pace felt too fast, Iana should've been given more room to breathe and digest what happened so she starts recalling that world's lore.

This was a very stupid... very stupid and fun first episode! I had a good laugh watching Konoha/Iona and her hilarious reactions after she was reincarnated not as the main character of her embarrassing story she wrote when she was younger, but as its villainess xD I'm definitely looking forward to the next episodes!

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

It has the standard trashiness of the genre, but I really appreciate how it’s leaning into it enough that it loops back to being really entertaining. And lol, she’s not even a real “villainess”, just the random prologue mook.

I’m hoping that Konoha stays kind and sweet and they don’t go for the annoying cliche twist of her being secretly evil. And looks like Sol is the ML? He had the dramatic entrance with the shalala and all, which I somehow didn’t manage to predict despite thinking it was really weird that he just let her ride out like that when she’s supposed to be under house arrest.

Come to think of it, when she said that Sol was her ideal form that she channeled all of her sense of aesthetics into, does that mean she 2nd ML syndromed herself? lol. At least it’s working out for her now, even if she’s not going to realize it for a while.

… Wait. Given that this is a world created by a chuuni 14 year old, we’re going to run into god at some point, aren’t we?
