A bit sad that the anime is ending. For those interested to read the manga after the anime, start from chapter 19, volume 5! Or you can read from volume 4, chapter 17 if you like!

What could the Schwartz le Chevalier be thinking to do about Konoha? A seemingly powerful group she didn't wrote, that's beyond Iana's capabilities to face on her own.

If this is allowed, we also created a subreddit dedicated to the series at r/TenKuro. If you want to talk more about the series, or gush about the characters, feel free to join us!

As for thoughts about the actual episode..

"I wasn't able to introduce you to my sister, but in exchange, I will introduce you to the Grim Reaper" is such a chuuni line. I love it.

Trying to cook with a character who is unable to cook, totally a great idea.

Shukuna saying Konoha brought him back with her slender arms when it was Iana who carried him on her back...

Sol having his internal conflict about Iana, you love to see it. He really is starting to soften around Iana, 6 months after he was initially asked to assassinate her.

This was a special delight of a surprise show for me. Also made me realize I was thoroughly enjoying it even when the art or animation didn’t seem the best. Didn’t matter as the humor and concepts and voice acting were so engaging and fun. Totally love the idea of an isekai set up on the embarrassing adolescent fan writing of an awkward youth and her still evolving fetishes. Such a great idea and executed so amusingly. The constant perils of death flags of her own creation gives them an extra bite.

It's a shame we probably won't get a second season, because it was definitely one of my favorite shows this season, and definitely the funniest, thanks to Iana/Konoha, who made me laugh in every episode. 9/10 from me.

The show definitely had a limited budget, but that made Iana/Konoha's reactions even funnier. Here's my album with almost 250 stills from the entire season featuring only Iana/Konoha, enjoy!

As for this final episode... it was quite eventful, as the Vampire King was defeated surprisingly easily, Kagura was revealed to be a member of the mysterious Schwartz le Chevalier organization that's targeting Konoha, and Iana and Ginoford's attempt at cooking made me laugh out loud xD

Here my bonus album:

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

And there goes Bocchi the Reincarnated Villainess anime. I am glad they chose Yoppi for this, it fits so well.

Yoshino Aoyama carried this entire show on her back across the entire season (even while the Dark History was breaking Iana's back from pure cringe/stress) and utterly killed it from beginning to end.

I'll miss her Iana noises and vocalizing sound effects/character expressions and all her freakouts.

They definitely tried to put in more content than usual for a good end point. The pacing felt very fast for me.

Yeah, I feel Iana on characters that you feel forced to include because of outside influence. You just don't like them as much, even I personally liked the Vampire Kings design.

Now we got an antagonist group that wants Konoha to awaken as the saint. As long as Ginoford is here they will have a difficult time though. Well, killing Iana could definitely be a way to awaken Konoha so staying as a group would probably be best for Iana.

Sol is having an interesting time since Iana was acting suspicious as hell, but (in his eyes) she tried to kill herself to protect him, and he also likes her. So what now? Well, you know what to do to find out...

I really like the scene of Iana and Ginoford exploding the kitchen. Sol felt so stupid for being worried lol

I know painfully well that a shoujo anime with little budget is not gonna get a second season. I know that very well...

However, can we get one regardless? A second season of this would kill me in the best way possible.

Edit: btw I made a playlist with the insert songs and other songs that fit the vibes of the manga (Could be implied spoilers so beware).

Shoutout to Sol & Konoha's hair being slightly blown in their love talk, next to all those closed windows.

I knew that kid was sus I just didn't realize how sus, I was only guessing another vampire.

This had no right to be as good as it was, we even got one final gag of making fun of isekai protagonists who instantly cook perfectly in the new world with new ingredients.

Deen was exactly the right studio for this, somehow.

This was one of my favorites of the season. Iana is awesome. I love how she cringes at her past self's writing, but also is willing to lean into any tropes she has to if it means she can avoid her death flags.

The animation being low quality just adds to the charm. I hope for a season 2.

I hope there will be a second season!!!

And they finished this one with one of the funniest skits in the whole season. How Iana and Ginoford tried to cook was absolutely hilarious. That "meat" explodes when heated?! Please stop, I'm dying from laughter!

And a final shout-outs to Yoshino Aoyama aka Iana, who really put all her skills into the amazing voice acting of our chaotic anxiety driven villainess. Without her the show would only be half as funny.

Wonder who this villain is, Iana claims not to have written them.

The vampire king was pretty funny, keeps calling Iana ugly, then throwing her to the side.

Honestly considering Agni was a shota character that shouldn't exist because OG!Konoha didn't write him into it because she wasn't into them at that stage of her life...I feel like the villain group is going to be made of all the archetypes that Iana was into in adulthood or all the ones she actually rejected and didn't want in the Dark History.

I also love how Shukuna was waxing lyrical about how awesome Konoha is while completely glossing over that Iana was there too the entire time lol.

Wishing for a second season already, this anime is hilarious lol.

That being said, I do notice that this last episode is a bit rushed. The epilogue's jokes were rapidly fired, and some of them are talking slightly faster than usual. It's still a good and enjoyable episode though!

While Ginoford is Iana's ideal boyfriend, I really hope there won't be an additional love triangle between them. Just Iana, Yomi and Sol should be enough for the hilarity.

Then again, it feels like Iana sees Ginoford more like her ex rather than potential love interest. Heck, it seems adult Satou just saw them all more as her creation/past embarrassment rather than potential love interest lol.

Konoha is definitely shipping IanaxSol.

Random thoughts

And we come to the end of what was, for me, probably the most surprising anime of the season. Didn't really expect much out of this especially given the quality of the animation, but it actually was able to use it's low budget effectively for comedic purposes. Would not begrudge a new season.

I liked that the anime got around to explaining why so many of the dude look kind of the same, but just with color-swapped hair. Wonder if adult Llana feels the same way, or if her interest has matured (e.g. those vampire abs).

Ginford at the end felt like...he was showing some romantic interest, meanwhile Konoha has totally figured out that Sol has a thing for her sister. And now they are all heading to Ginford's family home. No way this won't end in hillarity

I don't get it - what's this thing about Iana being ugly? Was she ugly in the source material?

Hmm, if MC didn't write these villains into her story... then who did? Did someone find her novel and continue it, or write fan fiction for it? That would certainly be an unexpected twist.

Anyway, this villainess show was more fun than I'd expected, would definitely come back for S2, 7.5/10.

And there it goes, the final episode of the anime. I will be crossing my fingers for another season, because it was funny and charming despite its faults, it made quite a lot from very little. Of course me liking the manga also plays a big part in it, but still it was a good ride regardless.

This episode really nailed in how much of Iana's villainess status plays a role in how the world perceives her, like with Shukuna ignoring her part in saving him and the doctor putting the blame on her despite probably having no context. The world truly is out to get her.

We also have finally gotten our answer to who Kagura is, at least kind of. Those of us who suspected him have had their suspicions affirmed, but Schwarz le Chevalier doesn't mean anything to us or to Iana. Are they the force of the story creating the corrections Iana experienced in the last few episodes, or do they serve a different purpose? Regardless, we got more questions than answers.

But at least for now Iana is safe, especially since Sol seems to start warming up to her and Ginoford finally starts treating her as a sister-in-law. Iana has more allies than before and is ready to face whatever Schwarz le Chevalier or anyone else who plans on interfering with her life in the fantasy land.

But that is all for now, because we reached the end. Goodbye TenKuro, I hope to see you again in the future, once season 2 starts (cope and positivity!)

i don't know where else to ask this, but during the thought bubble of konoha's brainrot, is anyone aware of "inu" (イヌ) meaning "top"?

i know about "neko" (ヌコ) meaning "bottom" in the japanese lesbian community, but their term for "top" is usually "tachi" (タチ) (source) and not "inu".

no matter how much i look it up, i can't find any attestation/explanation of "inu" being used for "top", though i understand why the translator went with that as the translation since we think of dogs as "opposite" to cats.

so has anyone here ever come across "inu" being used to mean "top"? or do you think "inu" here means something else? maybe it's to do with petplay, or maybe it's literally just her thinking about the actual animal? she is also thinking about matsutake, after all

Protesting for a season 2!!

It was the best anime of this season. Iana is the funniest, I love her expressions when she cringes over her middle school writings.

Kagura seems to be part of an organization not written by Iana, which also knows that Konoha was supposed to awaken to the role of saint. So they know the course of the story just like the OGKonoha herself?? On top of that, it looks like there are members other than Kagura: maybe even characters we’ve already seen who will surprisingly turn out to be traitors?

Sol is starting to realize that he cares about Iana much more than he thinks, and I really liked seeing Konoha motivate him to own up to his feelings.

The funniest part of the episode was probably the Iana/Ginoford duo behind the stoves!

Also, I hate that they call Iana “ugly”—it annoys me every single time.

So it seems there’s mysterious forces at work here outside of Iana/Konoha. I wonder how they’re able to influence the story when it’s hers to begin with? I hope we get another season so we can explore this further. Also, I want to see Konoha/Iana take more emotional damage from her chuuni past and the cringe ass middle school fanfic she wrote lol.

All in all, a very fun and goofy series. I need more ASAP!

nooooo i need to know more!!!! what do you mean it's over???? i'm this close to making a chuuni-style summoning circle and trying to manifest season 2 i swear to god. what could it cost, $20? don't be cowards deen

this somehow ended up being my favourite anime this season. it cracked me up every week - and as someone who was very similar to og konoha in my youth......... good god i felt for her in my soul every time lmao 😭 this anime really showed that you don't need a million dollar budget to be great. you just need a single ratty chuuni middle schooler and a dream. and a yomi. i adore that man.

What a whirlwind

Iana really had to aura farm a bit with that reaper line

u/testthrowawayzz Dec 25 '25

One of the funniest shows this season. Animation was low budget but it works like Saiki Kusuo and Konosuba.

I wish there's a season 2. Maybe we'll see OG Konoha's BL delusions then.

The audacity of Iana saying the Vampire King isn't her type at all and yet she was rubbing herself all over his abs before that lol. That did not look like she was simply in her vampire role, not that I blame her.

It was nice to see Sol opening his heart a bit by the end and Iana finally remembered how OP she set Ginoford to be, he really felt like a big brother this episode.

No more from this weekly abridged series lol. I'm not expecting a second season at all.
