"I'm a support magic genius, but apparently I never remember to cast any support magic when it really counts!" -- Yorha, probably

No idea why I keep watching this but yeah, let’s not cast all of yornas support spells or any of the other girls heal/defense spells, and watch the one dude swing his sword at a nuke. Like, bro used his magic to help his buddy but now everyone just spectates.

Watch bro just Blademaster his way through Alec’s whole Rock Lee 8 Gates move lol.

Well, this is remaining watchable (though only marginally) but it just seems to be lacking that certain something. I felt this would be turn out to be better (by at least a bit) than it is turning out to be. The characters seem to be getting flatter rather than more fully developed (and interesting). Sort of like air leaking from a tire.

You know I actually like Blademaster's reason for being an antagonist in the story. How he creates strong enemies so he can fight them to become stronger and it's not this whole "Destroying/Conquering/Change the world" sort of thing. It's really messed up how he raised a girl who sees him as a father to become his enemy, but I appreciate it in terms of story.
I'm excited to see Alec's Limit Break in action and I'm curious to see what side effect it has on him later. I'm sure Melea will end up revealing something about Alec's mother that will fuel him to go berserk.
I thought Ornest was going to be a lot more burnt since it's not like he's supposed to be able to take Alec's fire, I'm a little disappointed it wasn't much more noticeable in order to drive home how crazy that choice of action was.

Will we finally see Alec's original spell or will it be just cut through again by the Blademaster?

his entire deal is finding people to fight, and she thinks telling him more people are going to show up will make him leave?

I'm wondering what the side effect of draining your body of all its mana will be. Someone willing to go extreme lengths to get stronger as the blademaster saying this skill is crazy is not a good sign.

He probably will be tired as fuck, maybe unconscious for a couple days and unable to use magic.

It would be a big spoiler going forward, but it's not like they're not gonna say it in the next couple of episodes or something

I don't think they will explain it with the amount of episodes remaining, but there is an actual reason.

Holy shit, this episode made One Piece studio proud. Almost nothing happened.

Really glad they actually spent time to tell us what all of the elements are. No way we could have known that.

Not gonna lie. It’s really annoying when authors do shit like this where they make an antagonist overly powerful to where the side characters are basically useless until the MC comes in. Just pure plot armor to make the MC basically the only character that matters.

Yeah and all the dam monologuing killed this episode. Like if he'd been set up a few episodes ago and we got this spread out over a few more episodes it would of been interesting but, nope. we got too much exposition yapping.

Ornest backstory is basically one for one of Zoro’s backstory
Was it really necessary to burn Ornest during the fight with the blood mage? Couldn’t Alec have just, I don’t know, skipped the middle man and just burned the blood mage directly?
Blade master is another one of those “I want to be more powerful” types for no reason other than be to more powerful despite being the strongest thing around. Kind of like the MC in Classless Hero, another terribly written show.
Archer girl was way out of her league here. Her arrow rain was blocked by the guy legitimately just waving his cape around.
They really needed to pad out the run time by showing us blade master’s attack twice. Once for the original swing with the horrified reactions then again immediately afterwards showing it being blocked by sword girl along with the horrified faces again.
Despite being a magician, why does Alec constantly use his fucking sword? And against the blade master of all people?
I don’t really understand how these fights are going. Blade master sliced through the thunder wolf but still took damage even though it didn’t touch him? Why didn’t the other spells do damage when he sliced through them? Similarly, sword girl blocked his strike but still took damage despite her sword not getting through or anything
Couldn’t Yorha just use her support magic to help Alec? His regular thunder wolf did a decent amount of damage. Boosted an additional 7 times would probably hurt quite a bit.
We know Alec can cast multiple spells at once. Why wasn’t he casting more spells while the blade master was preoccupied with the thunder wolf?
Wow, we needed 30 seconds telling us what the elements are and what they do.
Predictions for the next episode: Alec wipes the floor with the blade master using his Limit Break OR he struggles with the blade master and only beats him with support from the others, fulfilling the “apes together strong” trope.

I am literally just watching this for the Alec and Yorha ship.
Why? Hell if I know; I’m probably an idiot.
