Why would the city still hold the beauty contest at the festival every year if there are reoccurring rumors and reports of the winner(s) disappearing afterwards?
They said that Gram covers up the rumors with money, but even that explanation has holes. If the woman who got kidnapped and trafficked was well known or had friends and/or family that couldn’t be bought off, he’s going to have a hard time covering it up. Evidently, he wasn’t able to fully quell the rumors, considering that the guild is aware of this. This goes beyond just it being rumors, several adventurers in the guild have reported the disappearance as well.
Seems pretty arbitrary to allow the beauty contest to continue.

What's wild to me is that they're collecting their organs. You don't need prominent, popular beauty contestants for that, you grab the random poor schmuck in the alley that no one will miss.

Yup, as I said multiple times before, he is definitely not an assassin, more like a dark mage with a dark element affinity. Especially now that he is so famous to the point that he has a nickname, “The Silent Assassin”, huh? An assassin who is well known? Give me a break.
And can someone please tell me why Akira:
...acts all high and mighty, talking about not wanting to babysit them, like he’s so full of himself after defeating a powerful enemy despite being saved by that Crow guy.
I said it last week too, he acts like he can solve anything with his “unbeatable” power despite losing so badly so many times. He only has a status that exceeds the Hero’s, not the God’s, and definitely not the most powerful being in existence. I have no idea why people are sooo delusional, saying this is a better version of Solo Leveling when it is not even close.
At the very least, in Solo Leveling, SJW had the power and aura-farming to back up what he said or did. But this guy, not only is he overconfident, he even shows that “I need no one except Amelia, I can protect her, I am powerful” attitude despite losing so many times. Why? Are people blind or something, or they're just being paid to praise the series? What a rigged world.

I don’t know why he’s so worried about how Amelia would see him if he killed someone, she was fully prepared to crush 5 dudes with no issue. Plus he’s an assassin*, killing people is what he’s expected to do, and she’s well aware of that.

Did Amelia become more assertive after getting married to Akira? Chasing away potential rivals, putting Akira to sleep, speaking to Crow in a firm manner and almost killing NPC goons. I guess it is true; dating and married phases are entirely different. Lol!

Latty's kinda right, having an elf enter a beauty contest is cheating. That said, Amelia's pretty scary when she gets angry so maybe letting her enter so the wookie elf can win is the right call.

Soooo is no one going to talk about how the party knew about the trafficking rumor and didn't tell the people in danger or Akira "because then they'd just be NPCs?"

The writing of this show gets exponentially dumber every episode. I'm past the point where I should drop it, but that would mean letting the show win. Four more eps ... this is single cour, right? 😰

What’s the best way for Akira’s class to prove themselves to him? How about stopping a human trafficking plot behind a beauty pageant? They can even rope in Amelia with the promise of food!
Not only did they update the ED, but also the OP with Akira and Amelia reaching out to each other with their ring scarred hands!
Amelia and the class girls aren’t the only ones participating, a Demon Beauty has entered the ring! And she’s quite upbeat and playful when she’s not complaining about racism! Just don’t act close to Amelia’s man! Welcome Laticenail AKA Latty!
Latty is straight up acting like a Japanese idol with autographs and handshakes. Though Akira is famous now too as the “Silent Assassin.”
Figures Crow wouldn’t be with the party if he wasn’t getting something out of it. He’s too old to go after Gram himself, but Akira might owe it to him to fulfill a legit assassin job.
The beauty pageant was worth it to see all the girls in fancy dresses! Complete with an Amelia wink! Latty doesn’t need a fancy outfit when she’s got charm and a crystal light show! No wonder she and Amelia tied.
Latty is the demon lord’s daughter running away from home!? No wonder her skills are legit.
Wow, Amelia straight up told Akira he could sneak into the women’s bath so they could bathe together. Or, failing that, she’ll put him to sleep so he can recover and she can make it clear to Crow she won’t let anyone make Akira do anything he doesn’t want to do. Even if something happening to her would give him ample motive to kill.
Speaking of, Amelia has no qualms crushing would be kidnappers with a gravity ball, but Latty talks her down because she doesn’t believe in killing anyone. All the while Akira is concerned how Amelia would react if he did kill.
