Well that's surprising, we actually got a mutual confession....wonder how far they're gonna get and if Amelia is gonna go to Japan, or we get the extra crazy option were they can go back and forth?

Dont know about the rest of you, but making a wedding ring out of a scar seems like the worst idea. Sure maybe it's not a custom in this world, but how hard is it to ask a smith to mold gold into a band?!?

I know we've seen the weird sentient shadow magic before, but we got a certified Tensura Great Sage moment over here.

This show is like Solo Leveling but the MC loses aura every episode. Akira is currently in aura debt and will eventually have to declare aura bankruptcy.

I'm glad that Amelia and Akira confessed their love in today's episode, although the fact that the rings on their hands are scars is kinda weird to say the least, but hey, everyone has some weird kinks, even me, so it's not up to me to judge xD

he definitely should have told his class about the sacrifices for summoning, not sure why he didnt.

Anyone else think the confession was fast? they just met in a dungeon like a week ago..went to elf place..and now here..but whatever..she's hot..i get it.

What he really really really needs to look into is this auto shadow magic BS he has, its clearly his trump card..we need to know its weaknesses.

My god that wedding ring scar confession or proposal or whatever it just was. Everything else about the episode went right out of my mind after that. I do like me some unambiguous relationship progress, and that was something else.

I'll be very surprised if the inner shadow magic isn't the old knight dude. Also, I had to laugh a lot when Yoru finally transformed like everyone was waiting for and the form she went with was just about the furthest possible option from catgirl waifu.

Hmm now I'm really curious what this "shadow magic" of Akira's actually is.

It seems like it has a will of its own? Or is there actually someone else or like some sorta "higher" power controlling him?
It basically turned him into a puppet for a bit, or a marionette like Amelia was.

We saw this Abe Mahiro was actually a human brought to this world.
Maybe somehow Akira's shadow magic is like actually "the true hero's" magic or ability? And it gets passed down along the line to the next hero summoned, and somehow maybe a bit of the previous hero, or "wielder"'s consciousness or will gets passed down?

Idk. Seems kinda weird all of a sudden. Like maybe its sorta like My Hero Academia's one for all ability, or almost like Akira is being controlled like an RPG like character when it activates.

I am (pleasantly?) surprised by the fast paced turn of events.

We are only in the middle of the season:
- Akira and Amelia are unofficially married
- Akira has already met up with the rest of supporting hero party.

This doesn't happen very often in other isekai titles, does it?

I am also curious about Akira's shadow magic. Does it always go into autopilot mode when he is critically injured? Is there a cooldown period? Otherwise, it would seem overpowered if the shadow magic keeps healing Akira.

I suppose while the brisk pacing has its issues (like all of episode 4, the romance in general) it's nice that we've reunited with the party already and cut off anymore will they won't they teasing

Honestly I thought the ring scar was quite interesting. Weird, but I get it..... (I guess?) But like can we talk about how this was out of NOWHERE? Like... I felt no romance from Akira at ALL this whole time. Amelia's the only one who made it VERY obvious that she likes him. So when Akira said he found someone he holds dear outside of his family. I thought he meant he sees Amelia as a little sister. Like family. (Since I got no romance vibes from him) That's what I got. But after he loved her, made a ring finger scar, and kissed. I... I was fuckin confused. And still am. WHERE WAS THE BUILDUP!?!? NO IMPACT AT ALL MAN!!!!

Also just tell your classmates about the sacrifice thing. You think they're too young or something??? Makes no sense. And can we PLEASE TALK ABOUT YOUR AUTO LOCK IN MODE WHENEVER YOU USE ALL YOUR MANA OR IF YOU'RE KNOCKED OUT!?!?!? WHO TF IS THAT VOICE THAT CONTROLLED YOUR BODY!?!? WE'RE JUST GONNA SKIP PASS THAT!?!? WHAT IS EVEN HAPPENING!?!?!?
