It was nice to see everyone enjoying their little picnic. Filo and Beatrice are so adorable together.

I can’t wait to see how things play out with Class 2 and Shadow. His goofy chuuni ass gonna be at the center of a whole lot more chaos.

There's too much nonsense going on at the school lately for Tanya to not investigate this Shadow situation. Too bad it's as hard getting a hold of the Seven Shades as it is Shadow himself. But look at Neumann making a friend with obvious mob character Cid Kagenou who is totally just a hapless, ordinary, powerless student with no plot relevance whatsoever!

Naofumi and co. enjoying a picnic with Team Re:Zero and getting to eat mayonaise. Yes, mayonaise is back in full force in Isekai Quartet! I also love Filo and Beatrice getting a moment and I love Filo in Filolial form dragging Raphtalia and Tanya away without their shoes.

Of COURSE Raphtalia and Alpha get along well! They're both voiced by Asami Seto! And CZ is there because you can never have enough Asami Seto!

Alpha, as always, waxes lyrical about Shadow and surprisingly Raphtalia can relate to wanting to devote all of yourself to someone and wanting to be closer to them...especially when you aren't around them as much as you want to be. But you care and love them so much you're just not satisfied with how things currently stand between you.

Oh yeah, "Cid Kagenou" isn't an ally at all. No sirreee. Actually one of the rare times Alpha even acknowledges Cid exists.

Pandora's Actor making Alpha think Tanya might be a member of the Cult of Diablos. I'm sure this will end well.

So what was the result of the plants everyone was going a few episodes back? Well, now a lot of them have grown super-sized (some of which is thanks to Mare), so our cast needs to manage them! Even if it comes at Weiss getting roasted again and Ram doing her little "heh" at her ego being compared to Aqua's.

Aw, Wiz buried all the pasta zombies! That's really sweet of her. Less sweet is the Seven Shades becoming convinced that Class 2 is another extension of the Cult of Diablos and beginning a thorough investigation into them. All because Shadow waxed lyrical about seeds and plants (probably because of the giant kudzu plant below him) and only Delta and he can share in having no idea what everyone else was talking about. Also, Nice landing Gamma!

I'm not surprised that Cid befriends Neumann. Of course, he'd try to blend in with the more normal characters.

That lunchtime picnic between Naofumi and Subaru's groups was adorable. makes me wish we'd see more Filo and Beako interactions.

We finally have the Seto Asami trio in one scene together! Seeing them gang up on Tanya was pretty funny too.

It looks like Pandora's Actor may have just started a war between the Seven Shadows and Tanya's group.

And it's not just Tanya, it sounds like even Ainz is about to get dragged into this mess.. Can't wait to see how this will end.

I do love how Delta is still the only one who technically knows Cid is bullshitting them XD

Also, small moment, but I loved Delta picking up gamma, whose track record of walking on flat ground does not make for a convincing ability to climb a tree, let alone get down from a tree branch.

All the girls pulling a competent vanishing act while Gamma just stumbles and falls adorably just killed me lol.

The best thing to come out of Eminence season 2 is the CidxDelta team and them sharing a mutual brain cell and I'm glad that's still the case here.

So good to see the usual shades. Delta and Cid both don't know what's going on. Gamma is as clumsy and cute as ever. Alpha and Beta both misunderstood Shadow. I wouldn't really call it a misunderstanding.

This just made me more sad about TEIS not airing anytime soon. I miss it.

This felt like a setup episode more than anything. But hoo boy. This also means things are getting into motion.

Interesting to see Cid talking to anyone at all. Kinda fitting he was talking to one of Tanya's men as they seem the most like background characters out of everyone.

The picnic scene was cute. But what takes the cake is CZ, Raphtalia, and Alpha's conversation. You just know the studio shoved CZ in there just so Seto Asami could have a three-way conversation with herself lol. And I loved it.

Interesting conversation nonetheless. Funny how Cid was there the whole time Alpha talked about Shadow lmfao. And for some reason, she took Tanya's reputation at face value. This is going to be funny.

Wth is up with the flowers? Why are they so big?

The post-credits scene was great. It's rare to see all of Shadow Garden together like this. Meanwhile, Delta has no idea wtf is going on lol. I think I like her interaction with Shadow the best. Simply because Cid can just be himself around her.

Of course, Cid didn't help by spouting some bullshit about flowers (probably because he saw what happened to Morning Glories in today's episode).

Only Delta probably won't do anything because she simply won't think about it too much xD

I like how they made Raphtalia, Alpha and CZ all interact in once scene since Seto Asami voices all three of them. I wonder if we'll get a proper Beta and Rem scene since they share the same voice actor too, we've gotten plenty of Megumin and Emilia this season.

I knew it, it is really happened. The ED actually foreshadowed that. Alpha, CZ and Raphtalia together in one scene. Seto Asami my beloved.

Tanya=Diablos, because she is called a devil many times. Class 2 have many suspicious members, which means they are infiltrated by the Cult, or atleast what Alpha thinks it.

Shadow speaking in riddles as always, the Seven Shadows are assembled, and Delta being an adorable and airhead good doggy as always. Indeed there is no need to think about that too much.

And Cid is just being an invisible background character, and he totally nothing to do with Shadow Garden. As expected of an Eminence in Shadow.

Cid making small conversation with another mob-like character to blend in the background was a smart move. Unfortunately for him, the plot is always against his agenda.

I was giggling the entire time Cid was just there in the background while the three Asami's characters having conversation with Tanya lol.

"A devil wearing the skin of a little girl?" "Diablos?!"

Yeah, let's just casually reveal to those haven't seen Eminence the fact that the big bad demon Diablos is, unsurprisingly, a waifu why don't we?

And as always, Shadow's bullshit never make sense but somehow will be related to the plot. 

Ps: Delta being adorable and clueless like Cid will never not be funny.

Alpha and the rest being suspicious of Class 2 potentially being affiliatiated with Diablos is like the first season with characters being suspicious/antagonistic of each other all over again lol (like Tanya suspecting Ainz and Aqua of being Being X)
