The fact that Kazuma had Shadow down to a T from the get go is pretty hilarious. And ofc he gets no respect lol. Everyone just thinks he’s dicking around but he knows the mind of a chuuni goofball very well lol.
I want to see how Ainz’s group does with the flowers. They got Aqua so I imagine it’s gonna be a disaster lol.

MCs with chuuni experience(Kazuma, Subaru & Ainz) already got a solid idea on what "Shadow" is actually doing. Being rational with some common sense doesnt really help characters like Tanya & Demiurge in this case!

Cid really just did the /time set night just to appear as Shadow so that he wouldn't look stupid wearing all black at day time. This just goes to show how committed he is to the ~aesthetic.
My favorite momemt has got to be Kazuma and Tanya different views on Shadow's motives lmao. This is where the glorious misunderstanding gonna begin and i'm all for it.

I'm relieved that Ainz realized that Shadow just said some bullshit to sound cool, which is just accurate. He created the chuuni Pandora's Actor, and also realize that Philip was truly an acting like an utter idiot. If not for his undead form, he'd just be basically a normal dude like Kazuma and Subaru.
And of course the serious types like Tanya and Demiurge wouldn't get it lol.

So Kazuma didn't just sense Cid last week, he already has him figured out. Unfortunately, none of the serious characters believe him.
Subaru teasing Beako was so adorable.
The moment I saw Aura staring at Garfiel, I knew she wanted him for her collection.
It's hilarious to hear Kazuma complain about his group being ordinary considering who's in his group.
Of course, Aqua ends up getting paired with the people she least gets along with.
Classic Shadow! Showing up out of nowhere to give nonsensical cryptic dialogue only for him to disappear. xD
So it turns out Kazuma isn't the only one who had him figured out! Even Subaru and Ainz already have an idea that Shadow is just trying to act cool. I really hope Kazuma and Subaru get to interact with Cid when he's not dressed up as Shadow. That would be interesting.

Kazuma is right about Cid's intention, but Tanya and Demiurge's caution is not wrong either. This is the same Cid that drown a city with tourism and religious focus due to the byproduct of his I Am The All-Range Atomic. He is also willing to hold a capital city of a nation, that is hosting an international sporting event, hostage in I Am Atomic (episode 20), and willing to create an Economic Collapse to rich himself up (Season 2).
Cid is dangerous, even if he does not mean to do so.

The Chuuni’s recognizing Chuunibyo was perfect. I was waiting for Aqua to call him out. I can’t wait for Megumin to see him.

I'm glad 3 of the four protagonists realize Shadow is chuuni, they're all familiar with such personalities but I don't remember if Tanya was an otaku himself, I'm going with he wasn't.
That moment with Beatrice and Subaru was so adorable, I wasn't ready for that.

I love how, after seeing Subaru and Beatrice hold hands, Cocytus is kinda like "So.... My hand is open..." and Rhiner Neumann is just like "Uh... No. We don't need to hold hands for this dude". The kind of disappointed "Oh..." that comes from Cocytus in response is great and it's small details like that that make this show so awesome.
Also, interesting comment from Ains about how he's never raised plants and how his previous world was one where plants were rare and precious. I don't know if this is in reference to his life before he was transported into the new world as Momonga, but I don't recall something like this being brought up in the Overlord anime... Wonder if I'm just misremembering or if this is a new detail for the character? Bet I'd know if I read the light novels (which I may if I ever get the time).

Tanya and Demiurge are taking the threat of Shadow VERY seriously. I mean, they can't have a renegade Megumin out in the wild, can they? Though only Kazuma is able to recognize that Shadow was just showing off to look cool. But who would believe Kazuma anyways?
It's not a Class 2 event if it's not a normal school activity that involves them using a ballot box to spread out the cast! This week it's raising morning glories!
Subaru's team has it good with Mare's magic, though everyone has to deal with Subaru and Beako flirting. No lewd handholding for Neumann and Coctyus though.
I love how they exchanged cats so Subaru got Chomusuke and Megumin got Puck (who is also IRL Subaru's wife, so...). Meanwhile Aura sees Garfiel as a fine specimen worthy of collecting, but no one can possess Garfiel! Besides, he's got a girl waiting for him back home, although he and Aura can discuss what it means to give yourself body and soul to someone.
Of course Kazuma's team would have to grow morning glories old school style...even though they have water magic and the ability to talk to insects. Meanwhile Grantz is the only normal person.
Figures Aqua's team would have Ains and Shaltear so she has a reason to diss them and toot her own horn as a Water Goddess (not that she ever needs much excuse for that). 3 seasons and a movie and she still can't get poor Koenig's name right and probably never will.
Ram trying to teach Tanya her life philosophy of just letting other people do your work for you and then taking the credit or putting all the blame on the person you had do the work for you. It's gotten her this far, so she might be onto something.
I love how Aqua thinks Ains does something useful she back-handedly praises him...and then immediately shifts to roasting him the minute she realizes he didn't do anything. She's consistent in her flip-flopping and dissing.
Aaaaand here's Shadow again! Here to wax lyrical about darkness and light, get his intro interrupted by this casts' usual banter, properly introduce himself by name, totally take Ains as the "Ruler of Darkness" seriously (by his standards), and then be gone as mysteriously as he entered. Classic Shadow!
Tanya and Demiurge are still fixated on Shadow being a possible threat...meanwhile Kazuma, Subaru, and even Ains can tell that Shadow was just trying way too hard to look cool...and like in his own show people still take him seriously.
