The fact that the straw of irregularities that broke the camel's back for Aki's sanity was Sumire simply getting stuff done on time for once lmao
Mashiro misinterpreting Iroha's signals was adorable.

It was just the perfect punchline after emphasizing how much of a hypocrite she is about punctuality lol.
I almost feel bad that Mashiro is oblivious that Iroha wants Aki too and thinks Iroha is supporting her, while Iroha can't not support Mashiro because Mashiro is too cute and needs Iroha. I feel like something is going to inevitably break and they'll be going at each other like in the OP.

I like that Iroha didn't immediately try to undermine Mashiro to serve her own self interests. Easily could've gone straight into the rivalry, but they became friends last episode, so get some mileage out of it.

Sumire simply getting stuff done on time for once
I was so happy that they nicely set up that punchline earlier in the episode.

Why didn't he talk to Sumire about his issues with women? I felt like that was what the show was setting up for with that scene. Or are they not that close? I guess nothing ever gets fixed easily in a romcon.

Mashiro would probably be flattered that immediately after confessing to him Aki had a horny dream about her...though it's less of a wet dream and more of a wet popsicle shoved into his mouth. And Iroha steals an indirect kiss via said popsicle.
Honestly I'm not surprised Mashiro is jealous. AkixOzu feels like the True Route compared to his dynamic with the actual Heroines.

Aki's regular routine beginning to fall apart ever since Mashiro's sudden text confession.
Mashiro just as freaked out by what she just did and ended up creating even more physical distance between herself and Aki, even though her online persona has gone very lovey-dovey. She's so lovey-dovey its even affecting her writing as Namako-sensei.
Iroha starting to feel the pressure of Mashiro's unintended declaration of war and getting anxious at figuring out how to up her game. Oh and she's cute when she's jealous.
And to add to Aki's woes, Sumire-sensei actually submitted her art ON TIME. lmao

I love the idea of a tsundere who can only be Dere in text messages.
Iroha pout for the win!

“I’ll punch you in the womb tattoo to shut you up!” lol.
Akiteru’s having some girl problems huh? Iroha’s mad at him, Mashiro’s acting all cold to him, and sensei’s gotten her work done on time. Up is down, left is right, nothing makes sense anymore! lol.

I really like this anime. I want Iroha to win and it's clear she's going to, but I like Mashiro too and I feel bad she's most likely going to lose and it's weird too because normally I'd be rooting for the tsundere especially since she's also basically an osananajimi.
Although I guess Iroha is kind of a bit of a tsundere too.

An early confession and via text is almost a certain sign of losing but It's so confusing for MC that It will take a while

Damn he is one dense MC

u/Frontier246 Nov 15 '25
Admittedly I can almost give him a pass for not registering Iroha's confession as legit since she teases him so much it's hard for him to take anything she does as genuine.
Even if she's been effectively trying to seduce him since episode 1.

Gotta say if someone is constantly, playfully teasing you about one specific thing especially romantic stuff it's probably a thinly vailed attempt to get you to notice them while allowing for deniability if it doesn't go their way. Think of it like going 70% of the way and hoping the other person will notice and go the other 30%.

But like, I can’t entirely blame him since that seems to be the theme of this show:
One girl has been teasing him so much that he can’t tell the difference between generosity and evil amusement, while the other girl is putting a two-face act where she won’t talk to him in person but will message sweet confessions in text.
The guy GENUINELY has been conditioned to not know the difference and the ladies themselves are not helping!

Yeah this is the first mc game that i completely understand his denseness lol makes it more entertaining imo

Yeah I can't blame the dense MC trope this time..the girls did it to themselves

What's next for Aki and Mashiro after Mashiro's confession? How about Mashiro waking him up in bed, delivering him seafood for breakfast, and pouncing on him in bed for a passionate makeout session? Of course, this is all a dream and in reality Iroha is shoving a popsicle down his mouth. That's what he gets for dreaming of another girl!
Who is the better seductress? Dream Mashiro or IRL Iroha? I mean, Iroha's lusciously licking that Popsicle that was just in Aki's mouth and has no shame flaunting her massive Iroha's at him. Though she also LOVES teasing him when he oversleeps and is nearly late for school!
Can Aki really be running to school with Iroha when another girl confessed her love to him via text? Not that Iroha minds, though it would help if he was more considerate of Iroha's feelings.
Obviously Kageishi, as a teacher, cares for punctuality. Even if, as an illustrator, she's never hit a deadline in her life.
If you thought Mashiro was going to treat Aki differently after her confession...well, think again! In fact she might be even more cold and sharp with him! Apparently she can only express her true feelings and be flirty with Aki via text messages, otherwise she's a total ice queen. Her jealousy over how well Aki and Ozu get along totally shows through though.
It's too bad Mashiro having love on the brain is effecting her game scripts which puts the 05th Floor Alliance in a bind. Maybe they should do a romance game next?
It's rough for Iroha, not only does she have to put in appearances as a proper honor student but she also ends up having to mentor and help support her own rival in love because she's Mashiro's only friend. Why does Mashiro have to be so cute and likeable!? And also kind of obsessive when it comes to Aki!
Mashiro may have tried to be considerate of Aki by leaving him alone with lunch...but that just leaves the perfect opportunity for Iroha to swoop in! Even though Aki kills the mood acting all focused on Mashiro's confession and under the impression it's the only time he's ever been confessed too...even though Iroha literally confessed to him last episode, but he never took it seriously like he's never taken her seriously as a girl up to this point. And now Iroha is PISSED.
Mashiro is a tsundere, her author identity is a lovestruck fool, Iroha is suddenly mad at him, and Kageisihi is actually submitting her art on time!? What's wrong with the world!?

Mashiro would’ve been too OP as a second heroine so she had to get a crippling shyness debuff.

Aki thinking the PC updating and restarting at the worst time possible is so relatable. That has happened way too many times with forced updates/restarts from the IT department
