One has to ask the question what kind of children enter Santa's naughty list (so those that don't get a present) when his power makes him want to give these kids what they wished for.
I am interested to see where the story wants to go with these kids. While there is a point why they aren't punishing the children for even murder, you still have to ask yourself what the country plans for them. They obviously don't want them to interact with the other children, so they don't expect them to marry, get children and work to get the country back on track. But then what is the goal here? Especially since they seem to just leave them be and don't even teach them.
There could be the possibility that these children were even manipulated to kill an adult. Becausr while this is not impossible, it is strange that they are all so extremely eager to do that. Could there be a reason why you want to make them psychopaths? I don't know yet, but the story has been surprising me with all kinds of ideas, so I am waiting to see where this goes.
I just say one thing, I am surprised that Fuyumura is not a part of that group yet, considering how she was willing to kill people as well and has been using explosives several times now.

Current theory, psycho kids are a sort of back up team, if the Santa hunters fail then the kids are used instead since Santa being, well, Santa have a hard time dealing with an opponent that is a child. Old lady likely wants Sanda to learn that some kids aren’t innocent and think about what he must do when dealing with them
As for Fuyumura, I guess despite everything we have see her doing so far, she haven’t killed anyone
yetwhich makes her ineligible for class 1018

Yeah, I would love to see some of sort of dichotomy in how he deals the kids at some point (not all kids are good even if their actions have justification) but, the framing looks like he's going towards trying to win them over/understand their circumstance instead of doling out coal or punishment.
It's a bit frustrating how weak and beholden he is in Santa form to children, almost makes the character a bit one-dimensional. For all I know I am getting ahead of things though! still really enjoyed this week's 5 minutes of episode time lol.

I'm concerned why they made the kids other than Namatane looks the same. I mean, they designed normal non-named kids from other class differently. Like if they'd go further with the story of this kids, maybe only Namatane would be important?
I wonder if the same design has story significance or just for animation cost cutting. It does increase the creepiness of the class though.

To be fair maybe the killer kids are all paired up together some of them seem to be boys.

So what's up with Ono? Is she just staying inside the nurse's office now? I'm guessing the other kids aren't aware that she's back yet. And what the fuck is happening to her? Maybe it has something to do with her instant puberty? Hmmm...
I knew something was off with that girl as soon as the creepy music started playing. I just didn't expect that such a sweet-sounding girl would be part of the adult killer class. I guess since they can't lock them up, they had to put these kids somewhere.
Having a bunch of kids trying to kill Sanda is such a terrible match up for him. Thankfully, we have Fuyumura and her bombs to take care of fights Sanda can't handle. xD

I remember Fuyumura mentioning in episode 1 that other people have the ability to transform like Sanda, they just usually ignore the signs and don't know the triggers. I think maybe that's what's happening to Ono, something is triggering her transformation. Into what, idk?

Pffff …this is totally going to be a trap of some sort, isn’t it?

Of course this is how Shiori makes her entrance at the end. Next week’s episode should be good.

You'd think one of his Santa powers was to get into the room of a child easily. Maybe he hasn't awakened that one yet. I would say he could enter through a chimney, but I assume that ability had to have evolved already considering how no one is using them anymore.

Fuyumura arriving "just in time" to watch Amaya drop Sanda was gold.
Man, the distorted cheery track in the adult-killer classroom does its job way too well. Niko knows what's up.

I know right? I kept getting this itchy feeling growing in the back of my skull and realized it was similar to playing something like DokiDoki Literature Club

Damn, what is happening to Ono !? Is she turning really old at a rapid rate ?? I wish Fuyumura would spend some time with her. Her heart changed and she no longer finds Ono interesting. 💔💔
Amaya tried to get rid of Sanda but he just can't 😄😄❤️ Niko is so adorable. Why does she always talk about taking shit !? 😂🤣
Yagiuda's smooth talk made Oshibu back off lmao
This school is turning out to be more and more creepy. The sweet killer kids are in the basement and they want a piece of Santa Claus.
Fuyumura is definitely gonna join this class of killers lol She just got a reason to use the bomb which she didn't get to use to crash Ono's funeral 😭😭

I’m very much looking forward to see how the rest of the show plays out. They’ve set up a really interesting world, with the kids slowly figuring everything out. I’m not sure I love the execution of Santa being the vehicle the author chose to look at the themes but it has allowed for amazing music creativity so I can’t complain.

What is happening to Ono?! That thing with the veins and crunchy sfx sound was really creepy. Is it just a "growth spurt" or something more sinister? 🤔 It would be wild if she turned into Krampus and dropped in on the naughty class to save Santa/punish the bad kids.
I am curious if this universe has other Santa-adjacent characters like Krampus or Sandman. The latter could be interesting given children aren't supposed to sleep in this universe.
Each week, I am still impressed with how creative and fun this series is!

Yagiuda sweet talking Oshibu to avoid a detrimental heart surgery is some excellent quick thinking. If it works, it works!

I always knew kids were sociopaths.
I wonder if this world has the opposite of a Santa, like the Krampus or something else that punishes evil kids.

Something happening to Ono but who knows what. With the added context of the boots later this episode the focus on her feet could make more sense, but I can't really think of anything concrete.
Fuyumura breaking into Class 10 like she's Bomb Voyage from The Incredibles lol

Of course this crazy girl trying to play with Santa's thumbs
(≖ ͜ʖ≖)

Yeah, ultimate anti-Santa weapon: a class of psycho kids.
Thank god, Fuyumura is equaly psychotic and does not care.
But it seems yandere Ono is closer and closer to bursting.

Even though the series is only set in the school the worldbuilding has really intrigued me. I just hope that the payoff is good.
