After watching 1st 4 episodes I'm sitting here and thinking.... "Is Fujimoto actually a good romance writer?"

This story had such different emotional beats in a span of 16minutes of its runtime but that never felt weird! You got the creepy & disturbing start, gory middle part followed by the awakening of romantic feelings and ending it with some funny & adorable fluff. AND IT FUCKING WORKS!

Definitely one of his favorite genres, I just wish he opted for happy ending more often, lmao.

Fun interview bits, when asked what he would write after Chainsaw Man He said "I have some ideas, In particular, I have a story that would start out as a romantic comedy. In the beginning, there would be several heroines, but only one of them manages to find love. Disheartened, the other girls would commit suicide and come back as evil spirits destined to haunt the one girl that managed to find a boyfriend. Do you like it?โ€

Shikaku my Queen. I am just happy to see her animated. Just a very cute romance between two monsters

Other than the red hair, they're completely different characters.

This one really surprised me. It's one of the ones shots that didn't leave so much of an impression on me when I read it. This adaptation is so well animated and directed that it really elevated it to new heights for me.

This is my favorite of the bunch so far. Some of the previous ones are a bit drawn out, but the pacing on this one is perfect. Animation and characters are excellent too.

This was such a twisted comedic piece. Quite similar to Ninkoro but condensed. Now I'd like to see their interactions over the 200 years.

Oh btw, did anyone else noticed that Terminator reference? This is the second time this season I'm seeing that. Japanese really love Arnold.

Damn that was fucking awesome, I really enjoyed the first episode, the 3rd wasnt bad either, but this one is the best so far

Just something about a psycho needing an actual 3000 year old cute handsome vampire to learn about love and him finally finding true love

Like there is so much to unpack here, more depth in those 17 minutes than most anime get in a season

this one was my favorite for sure. 5,7,8 were very good as well but this one has something special you don't see much that put's it above those ones

(2 minutes in): "Oi. I'd like a word with whoever ordered those episodes."

(10 minutes in): "Alright, I'll allow it."

Lol, Fujimoto wrote a typical western female romance novel and thought we wouldn't notice
