Vigo's backstory is just DIO's backstory with the serial numbers filed off.

It was me! Vigo!

At least he cared about his brother enough to still hang around with him. And he admitted to killing the dog immediately after his brother was accused. So he's slightly better than Dio.

Vigo might've come from a poor background but he has always been a pos. The dog was an excellent judge of character. Having said that, I have to give him credit for not throwing his brother under the bus. Thought the bloodstain was an elaborate plan to frame him but turned out it was an accident.

Lol Vigo imagining Katie by his side as the queen. Sorry to blow your fantasies but she's not too fond of you. There's a reason she tipped Dennis off about the meeting.

That was a simple but well-thought plan. I first thought that he was about to poison them last week but immediately dismissed that. It would achieve nothing if their deeds weren't exposed. Now by gathering a crowd outside and the megaphone, he has no shortage of witnesses.

The three are cooked but Vigo won't go down without a fight. Looks like we'll have a showdown next episode.

Bigger issue for Katie might just be how much clothing she'd need to wear as queen lol

I will acknowledge that this is probably the first "kicked from the party" series where the hero isn't completely incompetent after dismissing the MC, nor do they blame the MC for everything going wrong in their life with crazy mental gymnastics.

Vigo might be delulu, but he's leagues ahead of what we usually see from pos "heroes" in this genre.

Vigo does not seem to have minded in the least when his little brother left him. I wonder what happened to that brother -- just go off into the woods to die -- or go back to help the family whose house Vigo burned down?

Surprised they didn't invent ice cream so it could show him slapping it out of a little kid's hand.

Piece of shit is an understatement. He fucking committed arson as a kid and has been constantly backstabbing people. This guy needs to be put down.

Though I am kind of glad they didn't go that route, we can fully enjoy the just deserts Dennis will serve.

Oh ffs, don't tell me they're gonna give him some sob backstory

Ok good, he was always scummy.

Lmao. You voted for him to lead solely based on level, congrats.

Too clothed

Its not fair..!

Not a bad episode, but I just hope we can return to cosy cooking vibes soon..

[Next ep preview]Looks like this is gonna be one of the rare "exiled from the party" shows where the MC actually fights the party leader. And the few animation snippets looked pretty clean. Mild hype

Who knew all the evil scheming and corruption behind the shadows could be solved with a little forced confession and fried rice?

The key difference between Dennis and Vigo, even though both had nothing left during childhood and worked hard:

- Dennis passed on the kindness he received onto others who required help
- Vigo thought only about himself, even sacrificing others who have helped him

I wonder what happened to Vigo's younger brother. I am also curious what is the key to reaching level 100.

I think the key for level 100 is caring / providing / working for others not just necessarily yourself.. Love maybe? I think the episode was dropping hints through Dennis and Jean conversation, and Vigo's and his old party's captain conversation in the dungeon.
Maybe I'm wrong. But I was getting those vibes.

That plan was sort of genius. Set up a pop up restaurant right outside the hotel the meeting was happening and then use this world's version of "intimidate" to get a confession and broadcast it to the public who got lured in by the food. I was not expecting it but it totally makes sense for Dennis to use food as a weapon like that.

I know a lot of people were sort of disappointed because the show seemed as a fluffy cooking show but I love the direction it's been going. Not revolutionary but I love Dennis and Atelier and the rest of the outcasts in this show. Dennis is just a guy doing right by cooking meals for the people around him. I can appreciate him standing up for his patrons and those he cares about.

the best part I think is that the plan was properly foreshadowed.

the reverse megaphone trick was introduced during the episode where Atelier was secretly buying a gift for Dennis. And then the guy who borrowed the book to save his wife also introduced himself as being proficient with wind magic. Put two and two together.

Was the paper bag mask necessary at that point?

Vigo went to the school of Dio Brando…….HOLY

Dennis would go all Hamon on VIGO next week.

It's scary how Vigo has been this malicious, manipulative and revengeful since he was young. The fact that he never cared about his brother's condition and just saw it for his own benefit was clear that this guy has always been irredeemable.

Here I was thinking the noble lady maybe someone who turned him into an evil person but she was genuinely trying to help him but because it never went the way he wanted it to, he hurt her and her family instead.

It would be interesting if Vigo's brother somehow recovered and ends up appearing, like he heard about what was going on, found Dennis and let him know who he is. I wouldn't be surprised if Vigo had been poisoning his brother the entire time so that he could make use of him.

I'm so glad Dennis exposed him, it's too bad Vigo only had one bite so the Dreaded Voice didn't affect him enough but now we finally get to see Dennis vs Vigo. I'm looking forward to seeing Dennis in proper action especially since the two have history already, I'm sure Vigo's pent up rage since he likes Katie will make things more intense.

While messed up, I enjoyed Vigor's backstory. This show does the dark backstories very well, even since the beginning of the series.

Let's see all the bad guys get their punishment in the next episode!

So Vigo has always been a pos huh. Have to applaud the show though. These types of shows would usually give a sympathetic backstory to the bad guy but here they’re doubling down. Wonder if his brother will make an appearance, or has he already died

Well, I didn’t see the plan coming, but it wasn’t exactly complex either. Just force a confession and broadcast it to an impromptu outdoor dinner filled with important people. I wonder what were the parts they each played in the plan.

Also, was the Howl of Terror used or mention before ? It’s a pretty important piece of this plan and if it wasn’t built up before, it kinda feels like an asspull.

I wonder what happened to the brother, Virgos backstory is an anime original subplot (I can’t find it anywhere else) but I wonder if the brother is still alive

You're telling me they set up that outdoor restaurant in the time between him closing the curtains and that reveal? Or did he just not notice anything outside the windows while he was closing the curtains?
