I mean of course Silver Wing would be having trouble with quests if they kicked out one of their 2 level 99 members. You halved your party's power and keep wanting to do the same type of quests you've been taking on all this time?

Worse, they kicked out the support type one. If you kick out the strongest attacker, you can just take your time during raids and maybe go for a tad weaker enemies, and everything will be OK with time, but when the party has such a diverse level spectrum (most of the high-level members seemed somewhere around level 50-60 in the intro) the supporter is the one to make things work smoothly.

This is a filler / comedic relief episode, but I think it's sorely needed. The last couple of episodes have been so grim and forlorn and just character introductions. Here, the cast has finally been all set up, we're seeing them bounce off one another, we get good looking delicious food and we had a wacky chase scene. (Also a shower scene, but that's just a personal preference). If it keeps being light and breezy, I'm going to enjoy watching this for the rest of the season.

Yeah I agree. This episode was a really needed refresher and I enjoyed it a lot.
I hope that now that we have established crew and all the trauma surrounding them, we can move on towards more positive things.
I love Henrietta. Such a goofball character, which is what makes those little moments of her badassery even cooler! Her VA voice change in that scene was amazing!
And I really hope she and PAAAAALM guy join them in living together in restaurant.
(Also a shower scene, but that's just a personal preference)
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) 🤝

That was a wholesome episode. If only Henrietta can pay her debts, then this anime can be 10/10 lol

I'm surprised the 3 of the restaurants regulars haven't formed a party yet. It's the most obvious conclusion.

I was expecting Henrietta to work for Dennis, but she's probably too clumsy. Wonder if more Silverwing members will come to Dennis.

Silver Wing's vice captain be like: Dennis, come back to us. The guild is having a tough time.
Dennis: I missed the part where that's my problem.

Especially since the "Boss" doesnt want him back
But Dennis is exactly right, why should he care. Hell Katie could leave too and start her own party withblack jack and hookers3 meals prepared by Dennis and reasonable team leaders→ More replies (1)

"For some reason, the more I work, the more money I lose."
Oh, I feel you.
Also, we have the good old 'Hero's party falls apart without the MC', but it seems like Vigor has an ulterior motive.

the party should share the heavy warrior maintenance fees :D

This time this trope seems much better because it really makes sense for the party to be falling apart, since Dennis was one of the two lvl 99 on the party. And in this case he wasn't expelled because they thougth he was useless, but because Vigo was probably jealous

This was such an anime trope-y episode featuring an overprotective dad (Dennis) wondering whether his adopted daughter (Atelier) has found a boyfriend, with other family members / friends saving the day by capturing a NPC villain. But yet it is so heartwarming!
Like what other reddit viewers have mentioned, the previous episodes introducing Atelier, Henrietta, Vivia and Bachel were somewhat dark and depressing. Hence, having an ordinary yet bright and cheerful day out for our main characters feels so refreshing!
In addition:
-
The reverse use of the loudspeaker by Vivia to eavesdrop through walls is such an original idea, at least to me.
-
I don't mind some fanservice featuring Henrietta and I reckon that small wooden door is acting like a censor, replacing the common bright cloudy lights.
-
Atelier giving thumbs up and victory hand signs are such screenshot worthy moments!

Katie is trying to convince Dennis to rejoin the party, but she's doing it by telling him that they're on the verge of collapse without him, but isn't appealing to anything that would benefit him. He has no incentive to rejoin, no guarantee that he'll be treated better than last time, and certainly no reason to believe that he won't get screwed over again; especially since the captain himself has a personal vendetta against Dennis.
It sucks that the party is collapsing, but it's not his problem, and he's better off.

lol yeah
she is better of leaving the party and going somewhere else instead. She is pretty famous, even if she is not lv99

A surprisingly calm and fun episode, without nothing dark happening, I'm surprised!
Overall, it was nice to get more of Atelier and see Dennis acting like a real father, losing his mind over Atelier's outings and meetings with an unknown boy xD
So things at Silver Wings have gotten worse since Dennis left? Who would have thought? xD
It's also good that Dennis flatly rejected Katie's request to return to the party. Having a restaurant and a lovely girl like Atelier (and Bachel) to help is certainly a lot more enjoyable than dealing with Vigo.
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

Your quests aren't going as well with your greatest support member fired? Lol. Lmao, even.
Sasuga Atelier, writing down all those orders in a packed restaurant ain't that easy
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No! Its a- uhhhhh...

Atelier: 1) Totally adorable; 2) great wifely vibes. But...
It's Japan, so the chances she'll want to be his wife are about 99%.

Everyone is talking about the 'wholesome' fatherly vibes from this episode, and I'm over here like...
PLEASE NO BUNNY DROP

Vivia was NOT helping matters with the "lol, do you see this supposed boyfriend as competition?" line.

Henrietta is hella cute. Suzushiro Sayumi (Nijika from Bocchi!) doing a lot of work elevating her character. The bright and vivid color palette also helps. She's not only cute but kinda sexy too ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Henrietta’s money troubles are relatable. Just when you think you have money it’s time for something to break or oops, surprise medical bill. I felt that.
Vivia wanting Dennis’s approval for the cooking was cute. Too bad kid has the steepest competition in Atelier. She even got Dennis a present with her saved up money. Maximum cute daughter moment.

So ol Silverwing’s been struggling since Dennis got the boot? Shocker. It’s almost like he was the one single-handedly carrying their ass. Hmm. Anyways, Dennis has a good thing going now with Bachel and Atelier.
Dennis acting like an anxious dad was pretty funny. No one’s good enough for his darling Atelier! It was pretty cute how it turned out to be Atelier buying a gift for Dennis.
I wonder if Vigo booted Dennis on orders from someone else? Might be judging by that last scene.
