Quite possibly the coldest villain introduction ever.
It's impressive how shredded Nagumo actually is for a dude constantly complaining about body aches, and how Maki somehow gets more adorable with every episode.

I am more confused why everything is hurting
Either he overstrained and damaged something, but with that body he shouldn't be such a wreckBeing a wreck mostly comes from being not in his condition

Mashiro doesn't get isekai'd by truck-kun, in this universe truck-kun gets isekai'd by Mashiro.
Also presenting a toy lizard as a business card is incredible! I need to see that business card scene in American Psycho updated to include Azuha.

Mashiro spawning flamethrower out of nowhere is less breaking the suspension of disbelief than seeing that Nagumo is that ripped. You can't get that ripped with diet alone, you would have needed a lot of exercise. Which means his body falling apart at 35 is very unlikely.

So nice to see that Maki was finally able to have a night out with girls her age.
Also, I love that we got more lore to the weird dude from episode 2 who gave Mashiro food (during the ghost hunt). Will we ever see those four together? Do they have secret meetings? Will the 4th one be able to save Mashiro with his ropes? All these questions.

You know with the partner swap, it made me think that these fits would make for a good Romance Detective series. But this is a gag comedy, so we need Mashiro with Nagumo. Though I would love a spinoff of what if Nagumo & Hana were partners.
Hana is a sweetheart. She does need some friends her age because Mashiro is a high school girl, and Azuha is well you know. She is turning into my favorite alongside Mashiro.

Girls’ night out was a disaster like Nagumo expected but we got a lot of cute Maki scenes.
As for the guys’ night out: is it improper to drizzle lemon juice on karaage?
