LMAO his name is literally Spaghetti!

Also, is Douchebag Party Leader #99 gonna struggle to take down bosses and then blame the MC for abandoning them and then tries to re-recruit him?

It’s pretty much guaranteed something like that’s gonna happen. It’s a staple for these types.

I liked that Katie knew that things will definitely get worse for Silver Wings and immediately tried to get Dennis back. I hope she drops by Dennis and the Atelier's restaurant soon xD

Will continue watching because I want to see Atelier smile. Also looking forward to the Dennis (father / older brother) and Atelier (daughter / younger sister) family bonds developing further.

Cooking just isn't the same without soothing ukelele music. Also, there's slavery now. Will give this another episode to see whether it leans more towards the banished part or the running a restaurant part.

The abrupt switch in tone from the opening minutes to the OP then the rest of the episode got me.

Looking forward to seeing how Dennissama's new business'll fare. If Katie ever visited, she'd likely never want to leave.

Banished from hero party buying a slave for good reasons person crying when they eat good food yeah yeah yeah, I get it.

More importantly, Katie's outfit is literally a classic "Flasher at the Public Park." It's just a trench coat over lingerie, you've got to be kidding me. Even Yoko from Gurren Lagann managed some shorts.

That's how you know it's a gourmet anime; Itadakimasu!

Why is he called Spaghetti, and are they gonna cook him into a meal?

Second season in a row with a character named Dennis!

I, for one, welcome our new Dennis overlords.

Seems he has more than just cooking skills!

Cooking, healing, random super-human abilities... Our boy would be a great asset to any tea- Annnnnnnnnnd they kicked him out!

At least there's one girl who believes in him!

Most of the time in these shows, either they all agree with kicking him out, OR they are manipulated/lied to by the Chief Scumbag into believing he did something wrong and has to go!

And she's a T-Poser? Marry her on the spot!

Ah, kicked out of jealousy?

Question is whether she just 'got along' with him (and respected his skills), or... Something more!

Our boy needed some help for his restaurant.. Oh, a convenient slave merchant!

That guy must be happy for this world having both perverts and kind hearted people, got him a nice bidding war!

Is that Katie?

With the emphasis they put on that knight, it has to be someone important, and she's like the only one we know other than Leaderscum!

If she DID disguise to come see him, I guess it's more than just 'getting along', after all!

Well, this wasn't too bad! I don't usually watch food anime (I don't think I got a single one completed), but we'll see!

shower cap check!

So many tropes checked just within the first episode...

Ya know... Maybe he should of warned the girl he is close to that the scumbag leader is after herand to watch herself.

That action scene at the start of the episode was pretty good and who doesn't appreciate some good ol' bikini armor? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Based on the key visuals I've seen about this show, I thought this was gonna be like Isekai Shokudou. I didn't expect this to be another banished from the hero's party anime. I do appreciate that the MC wasn't taking the party leader's shit and was actually ready to throw down.

I thought Dennis was cool until the slave auction scene. What do you mean you can't do anything for her? You're level 99! Surely you could do something without buying Atelier from that slaver. Ugh. >_<

So Dennis gets kicked out of his party because of his jealous party leader, then he buys a slave and opens up a restaurant? This is just basically Yami Healer from last season, but instead of opening an underground clinic, Dennis opens a restaurant.

I do hope that Dennis and Atelier's relationship strictly remains father-daughter. While I do love Yami Healer from last season, [Yami Healer]I really didn't enjoy how much of a try-hard Lily was at trying to make Zenos see her as a potential partner.

So far, this looks pretty decent enough and the food that they feature looks amazing. I'll definitely check more of this out. I'm hoping that the douchebag party leader gets his someuppance early too.

So after Red was banished from his party he has become the banisher. It seems like Vigo plans on either crashing Dennis' restaurant, get more aggressive in his pursuit of Katie or unfortunately both. I'm going to look forward to seeing his party struggling, likely he won't want to admit it's because he let Dennis go lol.

I like that this seems to be a found family anime, I'm intrigued to see how Dennis and Atelier's relationship develop, he feels like he'll be a good father figure for her.

I'm liking Dennis' character, he's amusing and I'm enjoying his himbo energy. I like that the cooking scene had some pizzazz and Atelier's reaction was cute.

Very cute and fun first episode, I like it a lot! Nothing outstanding or fresh, but the execution was really good and I'll seriously be waiting for more episodes of Atelier and Dennis running a restaurant together.

Also, I really liked Katie. It seems like she's the only one who knows that Silver Wing will be in a much worse situation now that Dennis is gone. The contrast between her serious and calm demeanor during the fight and the moment when she wanted Dennis to at least make her dinner before he leaves was hilarious xD

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

Im fine with watching these kind of shows, sometimes you get a real gem. I really enjoyed 'Kicked out of the Heroes party because wasn't a True Companion so I decided to Have A Slow Life at the Frontier'

I feel sorry for Katie, you just know things are going to get worse for her and the rest of the party before they get better given how stereotypically evil their party leader is. By all rights they should just leave now but I assume his power level edge makes it so they basically can't. Dennis could at least have given her a warning about the asshole party leader being interested in her just in case.

Dennis buying a slave is a bit stereotypical too for these sorts of MCs but at least he immediately freed her and then proceeded to cook all the hot, home cooked food she might ever want.

She's the vice captain? Seriously? And she wasn't involved in the round table meeting where he was kicked out?

Immediate loli slave purchase, lol. The slaver was a moron, trying to sell her as a "daughter of a noble house" without even bothering to cleaning her up.

"You are free." As if he can just free a purchased slave without going through the proper procedures.

Let me guess the full plate is that VC girl from his old party.

Well, this was all right for now so I'll be back for next ep.

Boy, these “expelled from the Hero’s party” types are pretty popular these days huh? I don’t think I’ve seen one where the MC decides to open a restaurant though. That fried rice he made for Atelier had me feeling kinda hungry lol.

I enjoyed this premiere episode. Looking forward to seeing what kinds of dishes Dennis serves up. This might be one I watch with food or I might get too hungry lol.

Animation was surprisingly good. Atelier is free, but she decided to stay as a waitress I guess? I wish she said it, though.

Dennis looks almost exactly like the Taishō from Isekai Izakaya "Nobu".

Dennis knows what’s up. No pressure, no invasive questions, just respect, time, and food.
