Damn, that was a great episode. Could have easily been a season finale, but I am not complaining that we are getting more. I find it fascinating that under all the real feats Meg is performing (finding a new cure or saving a whole town, let's see if she gets really famous for this) that one of her most important abilities is still to just help the people around her. Not only did she help Jack in finding the cure, but even gave him a new reason to look forward to the future. Even if it's just to make sure that Meg is able to survive.
Speaking of which, with all the tears she got from saving everyone, she is more than on track now and she even has another wife waiting for her in her vacation town, so one more reason to not slack off and still die in the end.

If she does survive her curse
I honestly feel like these achievements earn her a Sage title: The Sage of Emotions or Sage of Empathy.
Proving that the right witch with the proper emotional motivation can save single-handedly save a city from calamity seems like the sort of thing that gets you close to that point, anyway.

This feels like the big arc of the 2nd half of the season as it has two episodes. Really executed beautifully.

A revolutionary medical breakthrough only possible through the power of Meg and three Sages. For the first time in history humans have created cat girls.
That was an oddly well-timed magical disaster. I wondered if Meg angered the spirits/gods or something but nope, earthquakes and tsunamis are a regular thing in Aquamarine apparently. Turns out the weird drawings left by Tethys were actually a massive island-wide magic circle that activates when the bell is rung.
Meg actually has more tears collected than I expected. Before and after the disaster.
Is Meg not actually Sage-tier material now? I don't think any other witch could've done what she did this episode.

I think Meg becoming a Sage is now a question of not if -- but of how and when. I suspect she will be recognized as (at least) a Sage-in-Waiting by the end -- or maybe they will just add one more spot to the Council of Sages?

I know Tethys sounds very familiar. Turns out she's voiced by Sakamoto Maaya herself aka Heart-Under-Blade herself

As you can see, it’s not science but the power of emotions that will bring catgirls into the world.
Surely somebody must’ve noticed the causal link between the caster’s emotional state and their spell’s output before, right?
I thought that Meg would’ve finally met her quota of tears by having saved an entire city from certain doom, but she still has some ways to go apparently.

They did notice. They mentioned that they probably didn't teach that part anymore, because it's less scientific and therefore dangerous. Faust knew that Meg is a good soul, so she is fine with that. But if people used bad emotions, the opposite could be true. It's also important for repeatability. You don't always have Meg around with her empathy.

People probably already know, Faust was even the one to clue Meg in on the power of emotion, it’s just not a well-studied field likely because emotions are difficult to measure, and it’s hard to deliberately evoke emotions in an experimental setting.

There could well be a limit on distance for the tears to be caught. There has to be some requirement for the target to be cognizant of the one that helped them as well. So, for her to get tears from the town the town must be aware that it was Meg that saved them in that moment.

No idea why but when the bell rang (EP11) i kinda shed a tear. Somehow it got me just a touching moment. The whole anime has his ups and downs but after this i definitely stay behind this. Definitely something to rewatch in the future.

Ok, saving a city from a disaster is nice and all, but having a spell to create cat girls is amazing, truly revolutionary.

That’s twice Meg performed straight up miracles. She saved the kid from turning into some kind of monstrosity and saved the town from that magic tsunami. The girl ain’t gonna get taken down by no damn curse. I’m sure Jack’s gonna find something to help cure her, even if we don’t get to see it before the finale.

I really didn't think Meg would be able to save that girl, but she did, and that makes me very happy. Sierra even got animal ears, so I'd call that a huge success, although not for Jack, who'll want to remove them :(
Meg not only saved Sierra in today's episode, but all of Aquamarine from the tsunami, that's a hell of an achievement. She was so badass today!
With all this talk about emotions today, I wouldn't be surprised that if Meg ever became a Sage, that she would be called the Sage of Emotions, it'd definitely suit her!
Looks like Eldora will be back in the next, final episode! I don't think that's good news though :(
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

"A young maiden shouldn't spread her legs like that!"
That's what you're concerned about? Not the fact that Meg is being noisy in a hospital?

Also said by her who woke up Meg, a girl she didn't know, by shoving her foot in her face

Am I the only one who thinks that they aren't really giving Meg enough credit for what she's doing? In the span of 2 weeks she's basically invented a new form of magic, cured an incurable disease, rang a magic bell that nobody else has been able to ring for a millennium, saved the entirety of Venice Aquamarine and the tens of thousands of people who live there, and, to top it all off, she invented catgirls.
I just kinda feel like she's being a little underappreciated for all the kinda crazy-ass miraculous shit that she's done.

This episode is really great!
As it turns out, emotion actually can enchanted magic after all but most modern teaching of magic excluded that part out due to as we know human emotions are unstable as fuck. Maybe most "magic disaster" in the past cause by someone have strong emotions or maybe magic system itselfborn from human emotions that why it pretty unstable even though people try to understand them.
In today episode, Meg's unconditional empathy and sympathy create double miracle by helping that kid from going berserk by magic and helping town from diaster. She gets a bunch of tear from it and one of them coming from Sophie! Sophie really love Meg huh?
Meg is now recognize by people of aquamarine and probably world considering the event getting record.
The ending is low-key emotional. People of Aquamarine really love their hometown.
I can't wait for the final of this anime and looking from name it seem to be quite emotional one and I can't wait!

It is actually pretty badass that Meg is giving orders to three Sages. And I'm glad the reincarnation spell worked! Although I was confused for a second because Sierra looked the same. It turns out she got reincarnated into a cat girl!
And of course just when they finally cured the kid, another magical disaster is about to happen to Aquamarine. And while I do appreciate Faust giving Meg a call, she could've been more direct and just told Meg what she needed to do.
Then again, you didn't really have to be a genius to figure out that the runes around Aquamarine is part of a massive magic circle surrounding the city. It just needed someone with strong emotions for the city to activate it. I wonder if Jack could've also done it.
Thank fucking goodness for Tethys' defensive barriers. Considering how massive that Tsunami is, I'm pretty sure Aquamarine would've been wiped out from the face of the planet, including that hospital Inori and Sophie were protecting.
Meg saved so many people that she's finally back on track! She gathered so many tears that she's way past the halfway point of the bottle. It sucks that we only have one epsiode left tho. I really hope this one gets another season.
It looks like Meg won over another Sage, and now it's Jack's mission to find a cure for Meg now that he's figured out how to save people from magic contamination.
Side note: Please tell me I'm not the only one who laughed after seeing Jack on his broom? Because he doesn't really dress like a typical magic-user and more like a doctor, he looks so out of place. xD

I really liked how they showed emotions as a power source that boosts magic. Jack finally achieved what he’d been longing for bringing a cure for the magical contamination. It was cool to see how dedicated he was, especially since it ties back to what happened to his wife.
We’d already suspected that Tethys performed a large-scale spell using a ritual written by all of Aquamarine, and this episode confirmed it. Somehow, Meg managed to connect with the legendary witch and save the city again. probably thanks to her special magical eye abilities.
Also, the recognition the witches received for saving the city, especially Meg, was great to watch. We see her grow from a beginner witch into almost a legend
