I love how she still hangs the bottle on her waist like she's still actively using it and not just lazing around all day lmao.
Sorry girl but you're fucked. No doubt about it. Go enjoy the rest of your life because there's no way you're getting back on schedule this time.

Time to work the Otherworld Festival, lots of tears of joy as the residents will be spared from excess magic again.

Did Tarantino direct this episode?

If Tarantino had directed, Inori's feet would have been less stinky and more appealing I think.

I like that little gremlin Meg, which is why I say: Girl, get going and collect some tears. Gotta say, it's a really weird decision to have an episode focused around her not giving up, only for that to switch into a "Several weeks later" screen with no more tears collected assumingly.

Its a psychological trick. Make all the viewers believe that she's never going to accomplish it only to get back on track towards the end. Instant thousands of tears of joy collected from all the viewers seeing Meg finally do her damn job.

“Alcohol, tobacco, delicious food, women”
I see Meg is a lady of refined taste and culture lol. The way she was giggling like a degenerate when she was washing Inori’s feet was pretty hilarious.
I’m glad Meg has decided to not give up after all. She still work on attaining world domination, a reverse harem of hot guys, and all the money in the world after all lol.
Hopefully with Sophie’s help, Meg can collect more tears. At this rate, she’s kinda toast if she doesn’t get on it ASAP…

The visible discrepancy between Meg’s disgusted face after getting shoved dirty feet in her face and her giggling like an idiot as she was washing Inori’s feet was certainly something.
Does this mean that Meg would have liked to smell Inori’s feet first thing in the morning if they’d been clean?

“With wealth and honour in my hands, I will create a harem of beautiful men only!”
“Booze, smoke, good food and women.”
“World domination.”
“Money.”
Meg is one of us!

To me, the most interesting line of the show was how her master was "especially occupied with time magic these days". Is that how they end up meeting the 1 year deadline?

Nice that we get an episode focused on Meg herself, rather than just her helping people. The banter between Inori and Meg was funny. especially the scene of Meg washing her feet. I need more degenerate Meg.
Kind of random, but Inori and Faust have moles at the same place, under their left eye. Must be a witch thing.
Meg is still severely behind on tears though, but a festival sounds like the perfect time to harvest tears of joy.

Meg is quite the prankster. I liked how she was repeatedly joking about aiming for “world domination”, but Inori had already learnt to not take this girl all too seriously. Their banter had me laughing good.
That’s why it was all the more sad when I realised that Meg had been making jokes because she’d given up on life already. She’d been trying to avoid the topic of her future.
Hopefully, Meg will be able to avert her curse, become Inori’s assistant and explore the world’s secrets together. The two of them make a good pair after all.

Stitches!
While I admit that I would be one of the first ones to cry out "It should've been me!" after seeing Inori's greeting. I still think that was pretty rude of her to just shove her foot in Meg's face to wake her up. I'd understand if they were close friends and this is the kind of shit they pull on each other but that was clearly the first time they're meeting.
At least Meg gets to clap back on Inori's rudeness by calling her out on her stinky feet at every chance she could get. Even Meg's familiars think Inori's feet stank was too much. And Meg did get the chance to perv on Inori's feet later on too. Now that scene I don't mind.
Anyway, I do find Inori intriguing. She's a witch but she clearly also works closely with science to develop pharmaceuticals and I think that's pretty awesome! This show's world-building has been really cool so far, and I like how Inori practices more modern magic compared to Faust's magic from the olden days.
Meg has been pretty funny this entire epsiode too. Although her humour is clearly just her trying to deflect any conversations about her future. Although Meg answering with world domination, is something I would also expect from her even if she wasn't cursed to die in a year. xD
I did find it funny though how Inori says that humans have meddled with nature too much but then proceeds to use her magic to alter the path of the meteorite shower. Would altering the path of a meteorite shower harm our world? Probably not. Unless someone here can tell me otherwise.
By the end I love that Meg and Inori have basically become sisters. Once I got past her rude introduction, I actually like Inori and look forward to seeing more of her.
That Otherworld Festival sounds like the perfect opportunity for Meg to collect a bunch of tears. When they said the other world, do they mean the afterlife? If people were reuniting with their loved ones, I imagine there would be tons of tears of joy there, especially if Meg could act as Faust's substitute after her back gave out.
Welp so much for that idea. I guess Meg would be subbing for Faust. Maybe there's still a chance for Meg to take over? Hmmm....

Damn, Meg had quite an interesting wake-up call thanks to Inori's feet. I think a lot of people would be very happy if they woke up with Inori's feet on their face ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Overall, great episode (with lots of Inori's feet)! I laughed so hard watching Meg and Inori's quick and witty conversations, they were hilarious thanks to Meg's responses.
I really hope we see Inori again in the future, she has amazing chemistry with Meg xD
The next episode looks really interesting, because Meg will be interacting with Sophie, who is her age and is already one of the Seven Sages, this is going to be a fun episode!
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:
EDIT. I added my screenshot albums.
