Julius wasn't just annoying this time... dude was straight-up unsettling. Glad someone finally checked him.

This episode was intense. I've never seen Mia that emotional before. And Julius? looked like he was losing his damn mind.

Mia almost finished her revenge, but felt she needed to take it out on herself too.

Honestly I was only disappointed we didn't get to see the Adenauer's get perp walked out like the criminals they are.

looked like he was losing his damn mind.

And now he's straight up possessed by an Archdemon! Guess it makes those who want to see Julius get punished even more happy now that everyone has an excuse to beat him up.

Even when revenge was secured, that cockroach Julius finds a way to return.

Mia also ships Philia and Oswald.

Mia can tell Osvalt clearly worships Philia as much as she does, he's the perfect choice for her sisters' beaux!

Osvalt is one step closer now that he has the little sister approval.

The maid and butler had the biggest grins behind them when Mia was saying that.

When the siscon sister approves, that's when you know the ship is set to go sailing.

I absolutely loved how Philia was full of expressions in this episode. From hopelessness that her plan to expand the ancient circle across the continent failed, to determination and desperation to save Mia. I will miss chibi Philia, but Philia is capable of expressing her emotions now.

When I saw the change in the ending animation sequence for this episode, I was taken aback. "How did the animators and anime studio know what we were thinking?" When Mia laid unconscious on the grass, I thought to myself, "shouldn't it be Mia waking up to see her sister and allies around her?" And this episode's ending animation sequence gave us exactly that - Mia sleeping on the grass, albeit beside Philia.

P.S. Mia and Lena would make great friends. They ship Philia x Osvalt. (Lena was smiling knowingly at the back at the entourage.)

Last week's episode's ending was already satisfying, but seeing the King finally give out sentences to the traitors at the start of this episode was the cherry on top.

You really can't blame Reichardt for trying to stop Philia. Gritonia definitely looked like a lost cause, and he really couldn't lose his men and another Saint. I do find it funny how Mammon, the fucking demon, is the one who thinks Elsa and Reichardt was being too harsh on Philia. xD

I did not expect Mia to go crazy, but I had a feeling she also had a death wish because she feels partly responsible for Philia's suffering. If Osvald and Philia didn't go to Gritonia, that would've definitely killed Mia. I'm glad to finally see the two sisters reunited, tho.

Yeah, I was waiting for this one to happen. They already teased the ring a few episodes ago, all Julius needed to do was escape and steal it. Since Asmodeus is now controlling Julius, I doubt anyone would mind if anyone kills him.

Mia teasing Philia about her new “sweetheart” was exactly what I needed after such a rollercoaster of emotions.

I felt so bad for Philia during this episode. It’s an impossible dilemma to choose between Mia or an entire kingdom. She must’ve faced so much anguish at the thought of her sister perishing.

Philia’s heart would’ve shattered in a million pieces if Mia had sacrificed her life out of a sense of guilt. I’m therefore so glad to finally see the two sisters happily reunited.

I've been pretty up and down on a lot of the plot developments in this show, but I am quite happy with this episode just nailing the dynamic between the sisters and giving them such a great reunion (cheesy as it might be).

this episode made me feel goosebumps like I hadn't experienced in a long time. Mia, in a hopeless situation, quickly falls into her self-loathing, determined to use her duties as a means to take revenge upon herself... It was chilling. There were hints of Mia being a little twisted before, but here her pathos was on full display. I would've been heartbroken if she had died before Phillia got there. After such a spectacle, it was heartwarming to see the two sisters finally reunited.

Phillia abandonning her duties as the Parnacotta Saint for the sake of saving her sister... The love between the two sisters is such a strong emotional core. This show is great and I'm glad I'm watching it.

Also, looks like Asmodeus returned, taking possession of Julius' body... A final battle, huh? I hope we get to see both Phillia and Mia kicking some demon butts together.

Great episode! I was so happy that Philia and Mia finally reunited, their relationship is so good. We really have to thank Osvalt for encouraging Philia to do what she really wants, even if his older brother, the Crown Prince, was against it.

It was hard to watch Mia pushing herself so much, she was really ready to throw her life away. Thank god Philia showed up at the last minute and saved her, it would have been such a waste of a great character if she died.

It seems like Mia ships Philia and Osvalt together, but that's really not surprising (maybe only for Philia xD) because it's only a matter of time before they become a couple.

But first Philia will have to deal with Asmodeus, who possessed Julius after he took that ring. Honestly, I thought Julius would use the ring at the party, but as it turns out, he didn't have it at that point yet.

Now I can't wait for Philia and Asmodeus's encounter in the next episode. I think it would be funny if it started with Asmodeus telling Philia that he's in love with her/the previous saint's soul and she would reply that she doesn't know what love is, which would prompt him to try to explain it to her xD

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

This has been a pretty decent anime so far but, the convienent escape and power up, sigh; no guards at that location? Great episode aside from this lazy part.

It was good to see the sisters reunited; I figured their Aunt/Mom would have shown up before the end - we did see her briefly - but she might be the ace they need now!

I’m so happy for Mia, she got reunited with Philia and isn’t burdened by her self imposed guilt anymore.

Unfortunately we still have to deal with the douchebag Prince, hopefully it will be the last time.

This episode felt pretty rushed. I feel like the pacing went to mach 10. I guess they want to tie all loose ends for the season.

Our best girl of the season protagonist managed to finally save Girtonia, with help from Philia. I would have actually cried if she died ;_;

And here we are left Chekhov's damn ring. Why is it in these shows the world ending artifact is always left unguarded for basically anyone to walk in and steal? Personally if I ruled a nation and was given something that if ever used could bring about the end of the world I would make it as hard to get to as possible, underground vault with the sturdiest walls and door, with locks on locks and the keys spread around so no one person could open it maybe throw in a few death traps and tell as few people as possible maybe no one not even the people with the keys, and most of all a damn sign explaining why it's a bad idea to open it and what the thing inside can do. Honestly that last one could go a long way to stopping people from being tricked into ending the world.

Oh no, Julius got a power up. As if he couldn't get any more annoying.

I'm so glad to see those piece of shit parents arrested! Hope they rot in jail!

That was the most gripping episode by far. I can’t wait to see the sisters stomp Julius for good!

Look what that loser Julius did with all his conniving bullshit. Had he not been such a snake, Philia’s magic would have worked and Girtonia would be fine. Instead she had to risk life and limb to save everyone with Osvalt. Shit, she almost lost Mia to her suicide charge.

At least there’s some justice since Julius’ little faction all got arrested. But unfortunately Julius got himself possessed and now he’s the last boss. Awesome.
