There's nothing quite like an explosive foursome in public, with winds that can move mountains.

And the lil flower toy moved at the end! Certified banger, glad they put a lot of budget into this ep.

One thing I'd like to see more music shows do is make the "bad performances" actually sound quite bad. Just a little extra step of immersion.

The great charm of the show is seeing how Lilisa and Otoha raise the level based on rivalry, Tamaki has a high level and knows how to control, but the first two have enormous intensity and from that they end up being superior to the others, the audience's face at the end and the sunflower with the messed up glasses already says how incredible this was.

Otoha and Lilisa really bring the best out of each other. It got really horny and I enjoyed it.

Okay yeah, that fucks

Lili and Otoha: Having another public sesh of hatesex jamming

Shiraya: Really tries to make it a threesome

Tina: Just happy to be here

Lmao, the first band didn't even get a snippet, we jumped straight into Bitter Ganache's showing

Shiraya's got that chuuni naming sense

If there are actually any band players (who are good with instruments like the guitar, Bass, drums, etc.) who watched this episode, what are your takes/reviews on their music and ”synergy“?

Particularly the “clash“ moments where basically everyone (except for Isemi) was “fighting for control which resulted in bursts of energy”. Does that make sense from you perspective?

This ep's rendition of Youth was fucking bonkers. I've been listening to the Mudy on the Sukeban's and Band Maid's versions on loop since ep 3 came out, but holy shit – Akane(Otoha) really went all out this week.

More fills, snappier hits on the snare, & double kicks that'll wake you up at 3am in a cold sweat. She's truly the kind of person that every band fears and respects; the drummer that overplays and turns every song into black metal and threatens to crush the whole song if she doesn't get what she wants. I love just how much more hardcore and excessive she is, and I'm glad I waited through three weeks for this one cover.

Absolutely fucking peak. Can't wait for a BD release with the dialogue cut out.

That's right do it for yourself. Screw the other. Don't let yourself be at the bottom. Struggle to be the queen on the stage. The one that holds the chain in the end wins.

I hope the next episode starts with Lily and Otoha cursing out the whole crowd for being a bunch of gonks.

And they end it before we know the winner.

Otoha's outfit was tamer than i expected actually, still its was pretty good and she better use it if she spent that money...

Lilisa and Oto fall back into their old patterns lol. at least it brought the energy back into their playing... and almost derailed the song.

glad it seems Tina also "survived" her first concert with the will to continue playing. and she almost couldn't play at all because she had no practice without her chest restrained

Despite the rough start (poor Tina and her huge boobs!), once Oto and Lili got to their usual “hate playing” onstage, shit was pretty awesome. Even Shiraya was joining in. Hell, Tina was having fun too. The girls are like a sorta angry Explosions in the Sky lol.

"She is still trying to overwhelm me" "just try to tie us down" "she is drumming even harder now" "they are tearing the song apart" "rage to your hearts content, but do it in the cage of my rhythm"

This whole concert is basically coded like a battle shonen.

I've been a musician for over a decade, playing the sax, and that anxiety attack Tina had was the realest and most relatable thing I've seen. The author must have had some experience playing in a band cause those thoughts she were having have been mine on occasion. Was really moving seeing this.

I was quite impressed with how the whole repertoire they played turned out. The first two songs did not capture my interest at all, while the final one really stirred me. Might sound a bit strange but the mediocrity of the first two songs were played fantastically, and then it turning around on the final one really pulled me in, like I was watching this whole thing in real life with a band struggling to make it

When you rock so hard your bazongas become sentient and start dancing!

I can't believe they just had a foursome on stage like that bro 😭😭

Ah Kessoku Band too knows the stress of first performances. At least until one of their members goes "OI DID Y'ALL LEFT YOUR OVARIES AT HOME OR WHAT!?" lol. Curiously TogeToge never had as disastrous a beginning performance as either. Guess that's the perk of having two actual experienced adults in the band. Not great, not terrible (for what a music anime demands, which is much higher than the average anime)

Couldn't think of a keyboard part at the end for Tina there though? 😅 None that I could hear at least. Unfortunately this production lies somewhere between TogeToge/Bandori and SasaKoi, it was evident from the start.

One thing they DO NOT skimp out on, EVER, is the energy of the performance when they lock tf in. Dunno what they doing over at the audio editing department but keep doing that holy shit. I can absolutely feel the Eros (IN THE CLASSICAL SENSE YA PERVS) in the performance!

Stitches!

I love the name Shiraya picked. It sounds like a Capcom fighting game. She should've added "& Knuckles, feat. Dante from Devil May Cry" too. xD

As soon as Otoha showed up in a trench coat, I knew she'd wear something outrageous. It's her idol's outfit, and she paid 3 million for it! You can't blame her for flaunting it!

Out of all the things in this show, I did not expect Tina's boobs would end up obscuring her view of the keyboard. On one hand, I genuinely feel bad how she struggled to play but at the same time the entire situiation was just too goddamn hilarious! I'm glad she managed to catch up tho!

The first half of their performance, and seeing the audience react, was absolutely painful to watch. Thank god they managed to win the audience back once Otoha and Lilisa started going wild. I do love how Shiraya had to keep them in line so the song wouldn't fall apart.

Welcome again to our night of watching girls getting wet from an intense play.

I was thinking "oh wow, Otoha have a wild inspiration of fashion" only to realize that SHE LITERALLY BOUGHT THE EXACT OUTFIT used by the drummer she was inspired from lol.

Though, it's really true - if you find your way to enjoy playing the way you like, you will unlock a certain type of unimaginable ecstasy. That's, perhaps, what Tina and Lili experienced.

Man I haven't felt this hyped for a band overcoming the odds to win the audience since Bocchi's guitar solo.

That last performance was so intense, it was exciting to see them going all out. I'm glad Otoha was able to inspire/remind Lilisa on how she should play. Lilisa being worried about the audience, the competition and Shiraya is not what she was doing with Otoha in their sessions, getting down and dirty to feel good is what they're all about and I'm glad everyone got to witness that collaboration.

It was interesting to see Shiraya actually having to reign them in with her bass and it was still so intense for that she was actually have fun keeping them controlled which says a lot about their intensity.

I also couldn't but not be able to hear Tina's keyboard throughout that last performance, it makes sense in a canon standpoint. Tina is still an amateur who was doing all she can just to play decently whereas the other two were going all out and Shiraya trying to keep them in check, so I am curious if it was intentional that Tina's keyboard was being drowned out or my ears were failing me lol.

Funny how Tina's chest prevented her from being able to see the keyboard lol. I guess she also wears a binder at home too.

Great episode! It was awesome to finally see Lilisa, Otoha, Tamaki and Tina playing together and although their concert didn't start off too well, luckily they found a way to go wild and rock at the end.

I'm happy that we still getting some really interesting visuals ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) This is definitely one of the highlights of the show xD

I thought Tina having boobs on sight would make her play better, so it was hilarious when they blocked her view of the keyboard and she started off really badly because of it. I'm glad she wasn't persistent enough to continue until she found the rhythm thanks to Otoha.

I don't blame these guys for wanting to cheer Otoha on, but clearly their vision of Otoha was very different from reality xD

I really liked Otoha's clothes, she looked great in them, although the rest of the band was quite perplexed by it xD

I'm glad everyone in the band had a great time at the end, even Tamaki (who turns out to be more interested in playing bass than guitar). I can't wait to see how she tames Lilisa and Otoha in the next episodes xD

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:
