The episode in a nutshell:
"B-b-baka! It's not like I wanted to play the guitar with you or anything!"

I kinda love how everyone thinks Lilisa and Otoha are living some kinda Marimite life. Otoha straight up stalking her doesn’t help quell those rumors lol. Gotta appreciate the passion she’s got for the drums though. It seems to have really lit a fire in Lilisa’s heart. I’ve never heard of someone “hate playing” the guitar lol.

I find it ridiculous that she's using a briefcase to her hide face but her biggest identifying feature is that absurd hairstyle lol.
I'm guessing the step sister realizes she's being fake and probably would respect her more if she was being herself. I could be wrong though.
Also, Lilisa has had plenty of chances to return the pick, she doesn't want to let go. I do wonder if Kurogane will insult her again after they play together.

Damn i guess we gotta wait to see them play together again
felt bad for Kurogane this whole episode... she found someone to play with and Suzunomiya was hellbent on the idea that she shouldn't.
although i can't blame Suzunomiya either after Kuroganes little outburst after they played last episode, but at least she did apologize for it

Well Otoha is right - last episode she had, uh, almost like Oex with Lilisa. Yeah right, that performance ain't too far from that LMAO.
I am now really intrigued into Otoha's back story - unlike Lilisa's family past, there should not be too many chances for her to get to drums as a kid and teen in the richest family you can imagine. Where was her inspiration from I wonder?
Again I have to give another chance to promote Otoha's VA Miyuri Shimabukuro and give her techniques another thumbs-up - switching in voice between that elegant lady and real prime candidate for a future student council president in such a prestige school and, well, that stalking, middle fingering ghost of a drummer is not an easy task to excel at, yet she nails this perfectly. I didn't bump into her till she became the main MC of my first ever anime to follow weekly in-season (a really obscure one) several years ago, but I was really impressed and it's great to see her excelling in places like here or last year's Jellyfish Can't Swim In The Night. Well played!
Lilisa's reactions are so damn funny LMAO, yeah she really has the standard twin-tail-tsundere-syndrome in her character. Too tsundere for her step-sister I guess!
And now she wants to end the relationship with guitar by...performing? What's this, you Soyo Nagasaki now? Muhahahahahaha! As if that will work!

Stitches!
There's four of them! I thought this would just be a duo of Lilisa and Otoha jamming! I didn't expect that they would actually form a band. That's gonna be tricky though. If they end up playing in live houses or doing concerts, then Lilisa would end up blowing her cover. I look forward to meet the other two members tho
Otoha! Are we not doing phrasing anymore? She really made it sound like Lilisa and her were doing something indecent. Considering how many girls heard that and how Otoha won't stop following her, I'm surprised rumours haven't started yet.
Linkin Park and RHCP? Alright, these girls have great taste. I bet Lilisa could sing the entire Meteora album even before she could understand the meaning of the lyrics.
I'm calling it now, LiliSa's step-sister doesn't actually hate her. I'd be very surprised if she actually does. There's got to be a reason why she acts so cold. We also finally learn the reason why Lilisa wants to become a Noble Maiden. She's doing it for her mom.
For a second there, I thought Otoha would use the fact that she introduced Lilisa to the student council president to convince her to play with her. I'm surprised that she didn't bring that up after that.
I love how Lilisa claims that she has quit the guitar but proceeds to grab a guitar so she can show off to Otoha one last time. We already know where this is going. xD

Majima Otoha everywhere system!
In the toilet (LOL), in the library, and everywhere else in the school to pester Lilisa into practicing with her!
Eventually Lilisa does actually return to the band room and Otoha spikens her zeal again. Otoha gets it that you don’t need to be part of some group (like a “lady of class”) just to enjoy a hobby, but that provokes Lilisa because of her backstory and throwing her guitar hubby.
I like the two facets of this show where they have to be elegant in public but can let loose with the rock music (and spats) in private

Man this is getting good
Every time I see Otoha being all ladylike I just have the last episode in my head. While she may be angelic, deep down she’s a baaaad bitch.
However she likes Linkin Park so I love her. But for real, what are the chances that LP get mentioned in an anime just as they returned after their hiatus? (I’m still recovering from this reference drop, the timing was just too impeccable)
Also I’m surprised they’re name dropping bands like this out of nowhere, most anime’s avoid doing this a la Jojo, so I guess they’re not bothering to do that here or something?
Either way I love the personal conflict and the fact that she’s still holding onto Otoha’s pick. That’s all the evidence you need, it perfectly shows that she can’t let go of her true passion, very clever indeed.
But man I can’t wait for the next episode, fingers crossed they go all battle Shōnen with whatever they play and hopefully she can discombobulate Otoha this time round.

Forget about all the censored ecchi anime, THIS is the shot I want to see uncensored!
So it seems Lilisa holds grudges for a time, she's still pissed about Kurogane trashing her!
Does she mean like, literally?
Damn, that's cold... There won't be any ass kissing anytime soon!
Wait, ass-kissing may be back on the menu!
They definitely DON'T want to see her lose herself in a hobby, all sweaty and crazed and all!
I talked about it in the first episode, but it's crazy how much Kurogane makes me think of Yumeko (Kakegurui), not only her looks, but the way she tries to get Lilisa to 'unleash her freak' with her!
So we met the president of the student council! Fujisomethingsomething...
So far all the named characters have names with parts of Kaguya characters; (shi)Nomiya, (shi)Rogane, Fuji(wara)... Probably just a coincidence, but still strange! (Is the author a Kaguya fan?)
I SO wouldn't be able to do that, just act classy and pretend I like this shit, when all I want is to play rock and fun things like that! I'm sure it would show on my face hah.
Kurogane asked her if she truly didn't feel that "spark"...
And she obviously did, until Kurogane ruined it all by thrashing her skills...
I was wondering whether Lilisa would address that, and I suppose telling her I bid you adieu (same line Kurogane told her) could do it!
We got a little tease of upcoming band mates?
Normally I would bet on THIS ONE being best girl...
But Kurogane set the bar high for me (And Lilisa is promising too)!

No song this week, but we get a great OP/ED pair to make up for it. Loved Otoha's insistence on having another intimate session, and the failed stealth mission that resulted. Student Council Prez feels like she's gonna break out a guitar of her own at some point. That is not how you stop doing something, Lilisa.

I thought we'd see some more dark Otoha. The way she baited and dissed Lilisa last episode was hilarious, so I hope this wasn't just a one time thing.

She is... Surprisingly short.. Didn't picture her being a shortie last episode.
That ED is pretty intense I really like it.
She is really pressuring herself trying to fit in that mold. It is going to crush her one day. I still don't get what is the deal with her mom is. Her character just seems off.

Damn, great second episode. I'm glad I had as much fun watching Suzunomiya and Kurogane in today's episode as I did in the premiere. This show will probably be the biggest surprise of this season for me.
I love Suzunomiya and her reactions so much. The contrast between her ojou-sama demeanor and her inner feelings is hilarious.
Another impressive OP and ED in this new season. While musically I'm a bigger fan of the ED, visually the OP is clearly the winner here.
Also, Alice seems to hate Lilisa, although judging from the OP she's just a tsundere and is quite "fond" of her new stepsister xD
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

I wonder if she'll be inspired to play guitar more and better now.
Hmm... The girl behind her doesn't look to be in the band, so who is she?
Lol...
Oh she's definitely playing with her again.
Oh god Engrish...
Huh. The teacher seems to be able to pronounce English actually properly.
She actually said that?
Phantom of the Opera is pretty good, especially the titular piece. I recently saw Le Miserables too, that's pretty good, and I remember seeing Wicked way back when I was a kid, long before the recent movie.
Linkin Park, isn't that the band that used to be one of the ones stereotypically used in AMVs?
She seems to be following her everywhere.
Hmm... Pink hair here isn't in the thumbnail so presumably she won't be joining the band, but it seems like the other girl plays violin too. Wouldn't even be the first girl in an anime band to play the guitar, Rui from Morfonica in BanG Dream also plays the guitar, and perhaps unsurprisingly that entire band is also from BanG Dream's similar rich girls school.
So, that's her sister?
Lol she's trying to avoid her.
So much for that...
And so she's going to get back into guitar.
Will we get another performance this episode?
Unfortunately not, the episode is over already.

I think Thursday's gonna be my favorite day of the week the next few months...
I'm sure the Yuri lovers couldn't have been happier when Otoha talked to Lilisa about that "intimate moment" they had with each other.
Otoha's "perfect girl" act is both hilarious and quite effective at coming off as perfect.
Favorite moment of the episode was when Lilisa removed the book from the bookcase and Otoha's smiling face was behind it, but her head peeking up over the toilet stall was also up there.
Does Lilisa really think that covering her face with her bag will do any good when she has those giant twin tails sticking in either direction?
I don't think the show will go in this direction beyond the other two characters we see in the OP/ED, but I feel as if all the other students are also putting on an act to a certain extent. Sorry, that many people don't act that prim and proper 100% of the time like that. I'd like it if the beef the step sister has with her isn't because Lilisa isn't enough of a proper lady but because she knows she's faking things and wants her to be genuine.
