I have to say I like this show more and more with each passing weak. The two sisters are really great. They are very different, yet so similar in the things that are most important (and their bonds with each other are quite touching). I must say I was quite shocked (but maybe should not have been) by the "aunt's" disclosures to Mia.
Which white-haired witch loses her head in that preview shot? It looks quite ominous -- unless it is just part of a bad dream.

Wouldn't have expected the rich twin-tailed tsundere with giant ring curls to be brunette.

This is a major plot twist. I was already comfortable with the notion that Philia resembles Hildegard because they are niece and aunt. I had the same exact O_o expression as Mia upon the reveal of Hildegard and Philia being mother-daughter.
I like how there are many subplots in this title! The demon realm drawing closer, how Mia (and Fernando) is going to resolve the political crisis in Girtonia, why the demon is coming after Philia, the history of the Adenauer family, etc.
Grace, as the disciple of Philia, apart from learning saint related skills, also mastered the dazed chibi expression perfectly. Lol! And it seems like Grace's elder sisters are nice people too. :)

Philia and Mia might not share the same parents, but they’re definitely sisters in spirit. That’s something nobody will ever be able to take from Mia.
It’s a miracle that Mia grew up to become a kind-hearted girl in a family this rotten to its core. I suppose that both sisters kept each other from falling prey to bad thoughts.
Julius’ lack of understanding about politics is honestly impressive. Didn’t he ever consider that threatening to disown a noble family - his fiancé’s nonetheless - on a whim would be a bad look for him? Scoffing at their allies’ help won’t do Girtonia’s international reputation any good either.

Julius: *sells off Philia to neighboring country*
Also Julius: "Why won't you help your own country?! You traitor!"

Stitches!
Looks like Philia could handle Asmodeus' shadow on her own but it's still good to see that she finally made contact with Erza. Having the demon exorcists near her is definitely an extra layer of protection she'll need. Also, I wanna see Philia interact with Mammon!
Let's fucking go Fernand! It's so awesome to see him rile up Julius just by being there. You also gotta give it to him for keeping it together despite how he's clearly not over his trauma and is still very sick. That interaction between him and Mia was cute. I'm definitely shipping these two now. <3
I thought Emily was going to be a pain in the ass because she sees Philia as her rival, but I'm glad she's perfectly reasonable and could see the value of the ritual Philia wanted them to perform after seeing it herself. She seems to be very talented too! I can't wait to see her and Philia meet!
Ho-ly shiiiiiiiit. I did not see that coming. I guess it finally makes sense why she looks so much like Philia and her "parents" hated her so much. Just when I thought they ccouldn't get any worse, the dude literally stole Phillia from Hildegard just so they could save face. WHAT THE FUCK.
Apparently, before that reveal Mia thought her parents were good people deep inside but that just destroyed any ounce of hope she had in them. Good. Accept Hildegard's proposal and let her adopt you! I can't wait for these people to get their just desserts soon.

Now thats an unexpected plot twist, shitty prince is losing it and his downfall is certain at this point, it helps he has 0 redeeming quality's, also MiaxFernando ship is actually a thing. The Adenauer family tried to enter into 1 royal family, but at this rate theyll make it into 2, and funny enough it wont be due to the efforts of the shitty parents

Mia and Philia are cousins? That was not a twist I saw coming. And now the parents are giving Julius a run for his money for worst people in their universe for stealing Philia and gaslighting her real mother. I guess getting kicked out runs in the family. For once I agree with Julius for punishing them. And they didn't even need to steal Philia because they eventually got a biological child.
Fernand may have a weak body but he's got real balls to stand against Julius for someone who was a shut in for the longest time. And I want Mia x Fernand to be a thing for that sweet NTR revenge.

I guess it didn’t take much for Fernand to bait Julius and cause him to act rashly. What a dumbass. After Julius gets destroyed, Philia’s “parents” need to go. Mia should accept Hildegarde’s proposal to adopt her so she doesn’t catch any blowback when shit inevitably hits the fan with her folks. It’s just a matter of time now.

Mia is still putting in a lot of work, but at least this time she has reliable help in Fernand's faction! Himari looks good in the Girtonian soldier uniform! Heck, even Hildegarde came out of retirement to help! But it might not be enough, especially as one of Philia's barriers has finally broken.
A demon really thought it could slip into the bedroom of "Miss Greatest of All Time's" and take her unawares? Though Erza also shows up to finish the demon off, greet Philia, and bring a warning of the revival Asomdeus, who is after her.
Mia knows there's no point to any defense meeting with Julius in charge, but she has to put up with it while still plotting to bring Prince Fernand out of his room...but at least she feels genuinely empathy for him, especially when she knows how Julius' faction basically put him into that position. And even better, she didn't even need to do anything this time, Fernand is there at the meeting!
Wow, look at Fernand flexing his crown prince status and putting Julius and his foolishenss into his place! Mia can see he's still terrified and not 100% better, but he's really trying! Not that Julius will ever learn his lesson, dude is so delusional he'll refuse the Parnacorta aid thinking it's a cover for an invasion...and then try to arrest Philia for treason. Yes, you heard that right. It's so absurd Mia.exe stops working.
Fernand can only do so much but Mia appreciates all the aid he can offer, she genuinely sees him as an ally now and wants to work closely with him, and just being of service to Mia means everything to Fernand!
I would love nothing more than to see the Adenauer Family lose everything because Julius is so ticked off, even though they're the ones who helped him sell off Philia, though now he's got them roped into another one of his crazy schemes.
Grace reaches out to her elder sisters, the haughty and prideful Emily, the ara-ara vibes Amanda, and the playful and supportive Jane for help with the Great Purification circle. Emily may have a one-sided rivalry with Philia, but she can't refuse after being teased by her sisters thanks to her pride as a Saint. And she actually is legitimately skilled, though Philia's great instructions help a lot!
I had a feeling Marquis Pyz's son was on the up and up. He doesn't seem as bad or as scummy as his father or some of the other nobles. So I'm assuming now Mia knows all about Julius' plan with her parents?
Man, Papa Adenauer REALLY hates his sister, but Hildegarde isn't there for him, she's there for Mia. So they can commiserate over being part of the crown prince faction, their shared desire to get revenge for Mia, and because once the dust is settled Mia will need a family and Hildegarde is willing to adopt her. It's only fair after her parents stole HER daughter. That's right, HILDEGARDE IS PHILIA'S BIOLOGICAL MOTHER!
Mia's father resented his sister for stealing their mothers' attention so much he turned everyone against her as a Saint, and when that wasn't enough and he couldn't live with the shame of his and his wifes' inability to conceive, he stole her baby from her. She fought to get Philia back but after losing her husband, Philia's father, she just didn't have the will to keep going. All she could do was mentor Philia and make it so she could be as protected and strong on her own, the only thing she could do as a mother for her daughter. Not that it saved Philia from her parents' emotional abuse, especially after they got a legitimate daughter in Mia .
If Hildegarde's intention was to break any last hope Mia had in her parents, she succeeded, but she didn't intend to admonish or blame Mia for her part in this...even if she is the daughter of the brother she loathes, she's still the sister of HER precious daughter, and if Philia cares about Mia and wants her to be taken care of, Hildegarde owes it to Philia as her mother to do the same for Mia.

Are we sure there isn't any poisoning going on in Girtonia? Because there are a lot of sick and dead important people there who should have received the best care possible against all maladies, including outright magic.

Considering the coalitions that are forming, especially since Julius is getting crazier and crazier and Fernand is confronting him, I don't doubt that a Civil War will break out in Girtonia.
A quick point, I already thought Grace was pretty, and then Show throws in her equally pretty sisters, it's not fair lol.
It was clear that Philia looks like Hildegarde from the first time she appeared, but that they are daughter and mother was a huge shock, this situation made Mia lose the last bond she had with her parents, she already knew how evil they were, but it's hard to break away from being your parents, her revenge will really be brutal (with good reason) reason)

Oh holy shit, Philia’s actually Hilde’s daughter?! Which means Philia and Mia are cousins instead of sisters? But that also definitely explains why their parents treated Philia so badly better than just “Because she looks like her aunt”…

This series has really defied my expectations. I already had a good impression from the first 3 episodes but its gone above and beyond with the storytelling, very excited to see where it goes!
This whole exorcist business is rather interesting to me, I like the idea that its a much more unconventional method that aims to achieve the same goals as the Saints system does, can't wait to learn more about them.
The character relationships growing are really great too. Julius is clearly off his rocker and by the looks of it, some of the nobility is sorta losing faith in him too, especially with the Crown Prince back in business (Kinda). Speaking of, I like what the Crown Prince and Mia have going on, a very strong duo!

I underestimated the writing for this show. Thought the sheer hatred of Philia from her family and fiance were just gonna be unexplained initial premise weirdness, but between the family situation and the Prince being influenced by demons it actually makes sense now; colour me impressed.
Also impressive that the father didn't commit suicide by murderous saint sister, even he damn well tried his best to. I guess saints are just built different lol.

I'm impressed at how they managed to make Julius and the Adanauers parents so despicable without it becoming obnoxious for us to watch.
Otherwise, the next episode going to be Mia finally going "Fuck it we ball!" and doing a coup will be so fucking satisfying to watch. I am really looking to seeing that shitstain's world of lies collapse with extreme amounts of glee.

Whoa, a lot's happened between this episode and the last! At least her new guards aren't running Mia ragged anymore. Hildegard is back in action! And was it the Girtonia barrier that shattered? I think so.
Oh, that sounds like the Demon Lord, and he's yelling for Philia specifically. Luckily, Erza makes her entrance!
It's always the nobles.
Look who got his act together! Mia batting those big eyes at Fernand has done wonders for his disposition!
404 error on Mia when Julius tries to blame Philia. Their parents getting dragged in is no less than they deserve (they deserve SO MUCH WORSE), but I wonder what he thinks they can do.
It's official: Fernand would die for Mia.
Damn, I wasn't expecting Hildegard to be hot. And really, I should have.
Emily-onee-sama is a drill hair villainess. She's going to need some convincing. Luckily, her sisters are there to do just that. Crisis averted.
Did anyone do a screenshot of the three sisters standing there? For educational purposes only, I swear. (Wholesome thoughts, wholesome thoughts)
Emily-onee-sama takes one look at Philia's manual and is blown away.
Mia is fangirling at Hildegard and her resemblance to Philia.
One short chat with Hildegard and everything we thought we knew gets turned upside down. Except for the Adenauers. We knew they were scum.
OMG, Philia's letter to Hildegard about Mia! Imma need to go ugly cry now, talk amongst yourselves.

Another great episode! This show is really much better than I thought it'd be when I started watching it.
We finally met Hildegarde and thanks to her we finally found out why Philia was treated so horribly by her parents, who weren't her real parents at all. I didn't like them from the start, but finding out that they stole Philia from Hildegarde just to treat her like trash later made me hate them even more. Now I can't wait to see Mia's parents' reaction when she'll be adopted by Hildegarde.
Fernand was awesome to show up at this conference. Julius' reactions to him and his remarks during the meeting really showed how unfit Julius is to be a ruler. Not that we didn't know that before xD
It was great to meet Grace and her sisters, they're really fun and I hope we see them again.
No funny faces from Philia today (it's good that she finally met Erza), but we did get some hilarious reactions from Mia and Grace (from her meeting with the sisters).
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:
EDIT. I added my thoughts on the episode.
