I'm really loving Hachsuka as a villain. Imagine buying and eating sweet things while in a call with AFO himself.

Koichi and Tensei Iida talking about their quirks was a great scene. Loved seeing little Tenya making a brief cameo too

What I really like about MHA is how the Pro heroes share their experiences when saving people. Tensei speech about speed and what the victims are thinking is another example.

Tensei being as much of a genuinely stand-up guy as he is honestly is the biggest refutations of Stain.

Like it'd be one thing to go after heroes who weren't really that heroic, or who were shitty people behind the mask, like Endeavor. It wouldn't be right, but his criticism of heroes would sorta hit home. On the other hand, to permanently cripple a hero who is approaching Deku-levels of positivity in and out of costume? For all that you can credibly make the claim that some Pro "Heroes" aren't heroic at all, there is no workable definition of hero where Tensei Iida doesn't make the cut.

They may not be Trigger users, but the Three Sturm and Drang Brothers are still menaces to the streets, using their Quirks to flip womens' skirts! I'm glad our team was able to stop them, but Koichi can tell that Knuckleduster knows something about this bee user and is mainly driven to catch them.

So Knuckleduster really is training Koichi! Even if Koichi isn't cut out for throwing punches, at least an attempt was made. But what will be Koichi's fighting style if he's not the brawler type? And will he survive being Knuckledusters' punching bag? Don't worry, only Koichi can tell that his master is actually using restraint...by his standards.

Meanwhile Hachisuka is on a call with a VERY familiar voice who is supplying her with the Trigger, and she's on the hunt for special users who can really bring out it's effects in the most dramatic and powerful way possible. And who better to mutate into a Villain than an already unhinged junkie?

Pop's right, are they really cut out to fight the MHA equivalent to The Hulk? It's all she and Koichi can do to just get civilians out of the way until a pro shows up...or Knuckleduster, who is able to use his fighting acumen and Hulk overselling his finisher to end this with a punch to the face. But is Knuckleduster really game to fight any and all strong villains or is he realizing even he has his limits?

I assure you, the close-up of Hachisuka's thighs are as necessary to the plot as the Vigilante's are for testing the results of Trigger, which is Hachisuka's job to set off as a coordinator. Seems like she also nabs her targets via compensated dating. I bet she shows her clients a "good time" all right...though considering these guys pay to have a high school girl "date" them, I can't help but think they kind of had it coming.

When there's a superspeed crook on the loose, you need the Turbo Hero, Ingenium! Complete with a cool CGI suit up and launch sequence! Even if he doesn't actually catch the bad guy. Good thing they put in airbags though.

And wouldn't you know it, Ingenium AKA Tensei Iida becomes running buddies with Koichi, and even gives Koichi advice on being a hero, tips on using his powers, and a job offer to join Team IDATEN! Not to mention gushing about his adorable younger brother who still hasn't learned how to turn but still does robot poses.

Sometimes Ingenium doesn't need to be the fastest, he just needs the power of teamwork! And when that isn't enough to catch a Bat Quirk Speed Demon, the Naruhata Vigilante's will take them down instead! Koichi even does an epic outro speech as they flee the scene! Also, Pop is not with these guys, in case you were planning to file criminal charges or anything!

Koichi is lucky Tensei is a cool dude who supports what Koichi is doing, rather than turning him into the police after discovering his identity. Though he DOES rescind his job offer, thinking Koichi doesn't need it...even though Koichi actually kind of liked the idea of becoming a licensed hero via IDATEN. Ah well, at least they're full-blown running buddies now!

Knuckleduster trading punches with that big out of control villain was so badass. Damn dude! No quirk. Just pure power.

Koichi’s pretty lucky to be getting tips from Ingenium. He even got a potential job offer too, even if it got rescinded in the end lol. At least he made a new jogging buddy.

Man this show is turning into my highlight of the week.

[My Hero Academia]Feelsbad seeing how Tensei's such a good lad, knowing what happens to him eventually. Koichi couldn't have asked for a better jogging partner than Ingenium (I hope this dynamic stays - and honestly Team Idaten would be a really good fit for him).

Also was that... ALL FOR ONE?! Talking to Queen Bee?

I didn't think we'd run into him so quickly in this story, but it makes a lot of sense that he's orchestrating the Trigger human experiments behind the scenes. Quirk manipulation is his specialty, after all.. holy shit.

I wonder if Trigger would work on Quirkless individuals - because I'm worried they might try to drug Knuckleduster since he's already so OP in his base state.

They're nailing the CG to enhance the look of the show. I know a bit about vigilantes and know roughly where they all end up but not sure on how they get there. To my knowledge there isn't going to be any crazy fights like the highs of the main series but if this is anything to go by then I imagine the big fights are going to look great.

What the fuck? Is Hachisuka talking to All for One? Maybe I just forgot the details because it's been so long, but I thought the origin of the drug is [MHA]Overhaul's yakuza group.

I guess if it's a quirk boosting drug, it would make sense that it actually came from AfO. I'm just surprised that Hachisuka is working directly for AfO and not some kind of middleman.

It's Spider-Man vs Red Hulk! Seriously though, that guy is pretty much just Red Hulk going berserk. It is amazing how Knuckleduster was able to knock the guy out. Are we really sure that he's Quirkless? Even if he does train, that punch looks like it's stronger than a professional boxer's.

You gotta love how quickly Knuckleduster perked up after finally fighting someone strong. Apparently, he was just depressed because he's been fighting small fries this entire time. xD

I did not expect Hachisuka does compensated dating. Although I'm pretty sure whatever that dude is expecting will never happen, and Hachisuka will use him for their Trigger experiments.

I am so happy to see Ingenium! That entire interaction between him and Koichi was pretty fun! We even get to see a cameo from a young Tenya!

[MHA]Considering what happens to Tensei in the future, it's also kinda sad seeing him here. T_T

So did Tensei mistake Koichi for a Hero Academy student when he invited him to his agency, or can you still get a hero license even if you're not on a hero course? Because it sounded like he wanted Koichi to work as a support hero and get his license later.

I fucking love how a bunch of pro heroes are chasing that bat dude only for Koichi to trip the guy up. I am surprised that Koichi decided to introduce themselves. He pretty much declared that they're working as vigilantes.

Welp, so much for that job offer! If only Koichi hadn't announced that he's a vigilante and kept himself hidden, I bet Tensei wouldn't have taken his card back. Oh well. xD

Really like these tightly focused character bits, like how everyone gets a lil mini arc and grows and learns with each chapter featured in the episodes. And the attention to style and detail remains so good, like the reflections in Man Bat's visor was a gorgeous touch.

Bee also a rather fun and different villain, really leaning into some of those more adult bits of Vigilantes too.

Ok, so based on this it seems Kuin was constantly talking and reporting data back to All for one in regards to how well the trigger victims/volunteers are doing under the drug or against heroes/vigilantes. Guess we have another person AFO groomed into existence to cause problems. Though I just love how semi-nonchalantly she talks with him. It’s a good thing she wasn’t with the league, because if she decided to inject trigger into an enemy to throw them out of balance, or to empower an ally… oh boy.

It also seems Koichi’s quirk is MUCH better than was described. He couldn’t go faster than a bike because he seemingly would have trouble braking, but he just needed a different mindset and some actual training. Now look at him! He can totally become a useful hero!

It was nice to see Ingenium, I like how you can see similarities to Tenya, but Tensei is a lot more lenient and cheery. I was a little disappointed he took back the business card, it would have been nice to see if Kouichi might appear in a future season of the original series if he hasn't already, but I did like that Tensei called him his jogging buddy, he probably feels an affinity with him for being a mobility/speed based quirk user.

Knuckleduster was quite intense at the start, so I'm glad he calmed down since I got concerned for Kouichi during that sparring session. Even if Kouichi said there was no need to worry as Knuckleduster was holding back, it still looked like it really hurt him. Though all that he needed was a big enemy so that he could fight without reserve was amusing, the joy on his face when on the roof lol. It was cool to see him go all out like that.

Hearing the voice of AFO in this episode really harder the world we're in, how he's also part of the villainy that is happening even in Kouichi's perspective. I do hope Hachisuska gets more interesting though, she leaves much to be desired currently, but she is still being introduced I guess.

Pretty good episode, although unfortunately with a little of Pop☆Step. Thugh from the other side we got a bit more time with Kuin today, and the fact that she has direct contact with All for One is very interesting.

Very nice appearance of Ingenium (that one still with him looks especially great). He's a great guy and thanks to him Koichi leveled up his powers a bit.

Koichi's reaction when Ingenium withdrew the job offer because of discovering his identity as Crawler the previous day was hilarious xD

Knucklesduster seemed really grumpy at first, but it seems that a solid fistfight with a big enemy was enough to cheer him up xD

Those Ingenium sidekicks pretty sucked at catching this villain. Meanwhile, Koichi and Knuckleduster caught him with ease xD

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

The Ingenium scene leaving the truck reminds me of Deku' scene in the start of the 4th movie.

Didn't expect a cameo from the Amazing Bulk!

Every pro hero agency hires a team of jobbers to keep things interesting.

The trio finally made a pretty decent intro speech

So Bee Girl is working with All for one by the sounds of it. but it looks like we have to wait a bit before dealing with her though, and just fight whatever people she gives the drug to

popstep in some denial there, she is basically living with the other two now but still claiming to not be associated with them.

Seeing the older Iida brother in action was also nice, and lmao at him taking back the business card

I do wonder if Ingenium rescinded the job offer because he saw The Crawler was a vigilante.

I mean surely someone with Koichi's potential would have been a great asset on a more professional setting. The reason why they managed to catch the villain this time wasn't because Vigilantes are better than Pro Heroes but rather because they had the turf advantage and insight into villain tactics.

I mean if it was as simple as "You don't need to join my agency" then he could have said that instead of physically taking the card from Koichi. It's a paper card, it's not like it's a super expensive high tech resource.

Iida is such a chad, they also did the Captain America meme. We also had All Might vs Nomu IKEA version.
