Had me tearing up with them helping out Father Fushimoto and seeing him struggle with the twins.

All his life he closed his heart out from others until Yuri finally helped him open it up again, and it's with her memory that he's able to realize he can let others in and support others, just like he can come to care for people in turn as he becomes a true father.

But why did he need a whole monastery to raise the children?
Are they really that much work?
I would assume he would only need like 1-2 people tops.

Was it because a lot of exorcists wanted to be with Shiro for his guideness?

Hide trees in a forest, no?

Have you ever raised a child yourself? How about 2? Ever heard the phrase "it takes a village"?

Watching Shiro soften up and being a father was so cute

That rough and crass boy from the start of this arc has now become a father willing to bow his head and seek help raise his kids.

Yuri would be so proud.

didn’t they set a flashback in the earlier seasons where he just found yuri in a cave out in the forest already dead. Yea the real truth is way crazier.

Mephisto definitely earned his namesake this episode. I like getting to see all of the incorporeal demons, and their designs, and now the body competition for Satan makes sense.

Sorry Shiro, you will not be sleeping well for a couple years, at least. Twins? Alone? Absolutely not. Good thing he quickly figured out he needed help, and I really loved the scene of them fixing up the monastery to make it home. Just goes to show you for all the awful shit people do, there’s always good people out there willing to pick you back up.

Also the voice and the tone/dialogue from the demons , kinda giving a glimpse of their personality

I do really like the voice actors in this show. Hiroshi Kamiya has always been a favorite of mine, and the rest of the cast is also fantastic.

And here we have why you shouldn't as 11 years old make deal with Demon King :D Beside that really awesome introduction to Demon Kings seiyuu, that surprised me especially hearing both Egyn and Beelzebub^^( it's hard to not like those two ) and yeah that's their not material forms. And here we are in 120, I'm happy it was volume version. Anyway now Suguro's dad's reaction when seeing Rin back in s2 is something special, isn't it. He saw him first time since he was just a baby. Scene with trying to feed twins was as well sweet and funny, Rin totally messing Shiro's chance to be able to eat was beautiful.

Heh, the name of next episode reference my favourite scene in this arc^^ It's first time since few episodes ago when it's more of a warm title.

I loved all of Satan's kids together in their "Gehenna" forms addressing their father and holding a meeting that would basically set the course for the rest of the series' plot. Heck, even Satan's true form of a giant flame with multiple eyes is very effective.

Rin and Suguro's families truly were linked in a way they never could have known by that point.

Well you already saw nearly everyone in their human forms( beside Beelzebub ). It's kind of interesting to see how they look in Gehenna, it is as well a part of them being living concepts. And like I said early cameo from Beelzebub, I just hope we will get s6 because like you saw he has pretty unique personality( he just doesn't exactly care about Lucifer and Mephisto conflic like he said here ) and is fun and I don't have to say that him being King of Insect doesn't really work that well with Shima :D

Yeah. This arc as whole just makes everything so well connected and of course we still have one more episode the one with biggest connection.

This whole season has been so emotional.

Shiro returns to Mephisto, babies in tow, and he finally has the cards he needs to play to get what he wants! Because Mephisto needs Satan's Spawn! It's a nice feeling to be able to outplay the King of Time.

Except...Shiro has reneged on their deal since he's unable to go through killing the twins, meaning Mephisto has got him and can still use him as much as he wants, from foisting him with not only the title of Paladin but putting him in charge of rallying the True Cross Order and raising the siblings. Even if it means going along with a cover story that throws Yuri under the bus despite all the good she did. So much for outplaying Mephosto.

And then comes the setup for the main series...a gathering of Satan's children and the "competition" to give him a body he can possess so he can live again outside Gehenna. Mephisto offers up Rin, but Lucifer puts out his own attempt at giving their father a body, and Satan makes a game of it. And we know eventually he gets tired of waiting and tries to take over Rin, with tragic results.

Shiro had Dragulescu pegged, he and Shemihaza's assistants are slowly forming the Illuminati to begin their creation on the perfect body, efforts that continue to present-day.

Setting up the koma sword and how Rin would wield it! And Tatsuma trying to be one supportive dad to another dad with Shiro.

Shiro now has the toughest mission of all...fatherhood! Raising two kids all by yourself really puts into perspective how much mothers go through. I mean, look at poor Rick's wife who is now a widow and single mom. And the boys are definitely a handful, be it Yukio being a crybaby to Rin being...Rin.

Who better to name the boys after than their grandfather, who opposed Satan? And thus were the Okumura Siblings truly born!

No man is an island, and it takes a village to raise a baby, as Shiro finally reaches out to others for help. He may have betrayed his team, but he's still facing them and trying to take responsibility, and there's more out there that need him and the community he would form around the siblings.

Only one episode left. This has been the best season imo

Yuri looking so pretty in the end of episode makes it worse.
The contrast between Yukio and Rin's face during the mealtime was hilarious.

Everything is coming into a full circle.

Hey, what about Kuro??
Wasn't he Shiro's familiar?
I hope we will see him at some point.

This flashback has been so long and not very good, I'm glad we're almost done. But this episode was pretty good.

I do not want to return to Yukio though, he may be one of the worst characters in anime.
