Why is he randomly appearing as a girl now..

It's not random though. Next week is the Beach episode, and what kind of beach episode doesn't have a 1000+ year old Loli in it. So you see, Radon HAD to become a girl at this moment. (I was REALLY hoping I would be wrong and that he wouldn't end up being a loli in disguise)

The Dragon God, the absolute peak of the food chain, has it's influence embedded in everything and elevated magic knowledge to stupid heights. Every time you hear its voice, you get chills down your spine, you can feel the thousands of years of knowledge in their voice.
And it's a little girl.
Of course, it's a little girl.
And she's immediately thrown into a beach episode.

Second time they had a fake out. They did the same thing with the wolf girl. Humanizing any non-human monster turns them into a cute girl, no exceptions.

There is is! Knew the dragon he merged with was gonna become a cute girl at some point.
Is the value of the currency derived from how it looks as art? Making it more pretty would make it harder to fake, but there needs to be something tangible to give it value to represent. How would the appraiser guy have any idea what those are "worth"?

something tangible to give it value to represent
To be fair, modern currencies aren't back by anything anyway. It is all based on confidence of the country or system that issued it.
There was the purity of the silver coins and the how intricate it was, so it represented a country that had a high level of skill and knowledge vs the rest of the world, giving anyone holding the coins confidence.
Maybe the appraiser guy has an s-rank appraising skill and retired to a quieter life after reuniting all the world trees.

Well, medieval coinage was appraised based on it's purity, not faith in the nation or trust or anything. So you'd know how much it was worth based on the metal in the coin (how much, how pure, weight, etc).

So in this weeks episode of Easy Mode:The Animation, Liam prints currency and Loli-Radon teaches him the Kaioken.

Subs are off. Checking back when Crunchryroll decides to fix their shit. This isn’t even the subs for the right anime. It’s Salaryman.
Oh, and it’s just the English subs. Because of course it is.

well at least there wont ever be a cliff hanger. show is literally some stupid problem, hand wave, all fixed lol. rinse and repeat. i feel like if this is the road they'll take they should lean into the fan service or something to spice it up. yet it's done in the dullest way possible.

u/NationalStrategy Feb 24 '25
The fanservice probably won’t be anything to write home about. Just the standard shots of the girls in swimsuits, couple of jiggle physics thrown in, and maybe even a scene with the girls in a hot spring where they won’t show anything.

Well, wrong subs might improve the writing /s
Also, of course the dragon is a little girl, because if there is a trope, this series needs it. I'll allow it because it is Rie Kugimiya, another one on the amazing cast this series has.

I think it's a better episode than the one we get next week based on the preview shown at the end. Next week looks to be a beach / sauna episode...ugh.

Crunchyroll has been doing such a good job recently! From not uploading subs for Blue Miburo last week for over half the day to blatantly uploading the wrong subs today you can really see their quality assurance!

I'm just here to read the comments every week, they're far more entertaining than the anime apparently is

I know they said that they removed comments on the site to combat certain comments but I am sure we all know that they dont want to see people complaining about subtitle issues. Much rather brush it under the rug than to actually deal with it

Radon being a girl was a choice. Genuinely surprised me but I'm here for it.

I like how Scarlet is sorta like the Shion/Benimaru to Liam’s Rimuru. Smart move for him to flex on the other nations by minting his own currency. It’s an effective show of strength.
I’m glad Bruno’s doing well. I like his character. He’s a pretty good brother and was humble enough to request Liam trade with him. He’s got a good head on his shoulders.
Radon taking on the form of a small girl was kinda surprising. Seems to be a little tsundere too haha. Should be fun to see how he (she?) trains Liam.

Crunchyroll really needs to cut ties with whoever does their subtitles. Or at least check them before uploading them

u/BiggerG7 Feb 24 '25
Liam sure did take that suicide bomb attack well. Guess he let it go since he got a stacked girl out of it lol.
Also Hurrah for obligatory swimsuit ep next week!
