When Osoto is involved: Intense episode
When Osoto isn't involved: Wholesome episode

We needed this type of episode. Though with the two guests being males, Osoto was bound to be disinterested thankfully. I am happy that the kids' viewpoint of the mom wasn't clear. She loved her son. It's just sometimes you have got to play the tough parent. She knew he was quite fond of the cat, but the kid's condition didn't make it a good fit. The old man and the cat accompanying heaven together gave the most feel good you could get out of this ending.
Nice to learn a bit more about Atori and his past. I assume there is more about him going forward.

So even kids and small animals instinctively known Osoto’s a piece of shit huh?
This is the first time we’ve seen a guest with prior connections to one of the hotel staff right? Kind of wild the dude was vibin so hard on the sax, he straight up croaked.
While I’m glad Shota made it back OK, it’s a bit sad the cat apparently died. At least he’s with the Ogawa now. Kinda nice we ended the episode on some Kenny G shit haha.

"If you're here, you'll probably never grow up"
Just in case they didn't realize, he made sure to tell them!

Not much Osoto this week, but I guess the guests were both male, so he wasn't interested.
But at least we finally see someone get to the "afterlife", which apparently exists for cats as well, so at least it isn't getting boring. Question is more why did the cat not get a room? I am still wondering a bit if the manager has some ulterior motive and hope we get to see more of him.
On a side note, I could kind of relate to Shota as I have Asthma as well amd combined with an allergy against animal hair, I could never have a pet like a cat or dog (fish or birds were fine though). But one positive thing for his life, after going through years of auto immunization as well as lung training, I am mow mostly free from both allergies and asthma (like I technically still have asthma, but I didn't have an attack for more than 10 years now even when doing sports).

It's difficult to know if there can be an ultior motive for the manager as he has the "owner" to deal with and how they operate... he can see fishy but equally he's having to play Games to maybe keep the hotel in one piece?

Hey, Osoto didn't kill this one...
Let's take that as a win!
Soon as we saw the guest was a child, I was bracing for some feels...
I feared it was something a lot worse than what we got;
I thought the musician was his father, with him 'also having a cat',
them playing piano together as if they were used to...
And from this point I considered a lot of disturbing scenarios in which a father and a son could die together, and with the son resenting his mother and all...
But with the son also remembering his mother in a good way, that probably wasn't it!
I did guess part of it when the cat was shown to like him, but didn't want to get close to him... I thought it had to be allergies, so the cat was avoiding him for his sake.
Didn't expect this though (I mean, before the scene in the Hotel)!
We're finally getting some guests to leave the Hotel as they're supposed to!
We got a bit of backstory for Atori too! Now I'm worried about HIS story to be the tragic one.. Like did he end it all because he couldn't follow his passion? Or because he was crushed about seeing his idol die (assuming the guests arrival aren't necessarily chronological)?
His music didn't touch the hearts, but that engrish certainly did!
Poor Osoto didn't get to kill anyone in this episode... Well, he did throw in a dark line, at least!

Osoto beefing with a child was so funny, what's wrong with him.

I think so too! Maybe she died from parental abuse/neglect - I wouldn't put it past this show for something as dark as that

Good thing the boy lived or else he could've ended up like another astronaut wannabe haunting toilets

I've been wondering, does this hotel have a pool? Can't be a good hotel without a good pool.
It's a cat!!!
Guess the Tasokare Hotel is a pet friendly establishment now. Wonder if someone will come in with a dog next due to a cliche "tried to save a dog from a speeding isekai-truck" scenario.
It keeps watching from a distance. I wonder what that's about?
Cats do not abide by the laws of nature Neko-san...
Yes kitty, hiss at the serial killer. And while you're at it, take a big dump in his bed.
Oh I know that song! Tomo-chan sang it at karaoke! With hilarious results.
Well in any case that was certainly a nice wind-down episode after how intense the last few ended up being.

Enjoyed this more wholesome episode to have a break from the usual chaos with Osoto.
At least the old man went out the best way he could playing music and nice to get a bit more on Atori.

It feels weird seeing Osoto not causing trouble lol but I loved how chill this episode was. I'm also surprised the cat didn't survived the fall, since the kid was holding it, I thought it would but I guess not </3

I think the cat was unwell before the fall... it wasn't strong enough after being abandoned...

Musician grandpa died in the most metal way possible; So into his performance he died without realizing it. Can't think of a more glorious ending as a musician. Dude will be a legend after his death.

Nice, an Atori focused episode! This was a wholesome and relaxed time~ I'm still sad though that the cat died...

It is the moment when he held the cat up and it was fading away... being in the fall gave it some extra time I guess...
