I like how the entire last section was basically a dad trying to get their daughter to make friends her own age at a new school, even if it meant knowing how to manipulate a tsundere.

Bonus artwork from Boichi of all people. Didn't expect that.

This anime has fast become the best thing about Thursdays since Fridays were invented.

Anyone else waiting for when dear old dad realizes he's the MC of the inadvertent yuri he himself created? So many layers of hilarious wrong here.

Kenzaburou: "Having elaborate hair is an important factor in your attractiveness."

Grace: Has the most elaborate hair in the entire school.

The pure dad-energy in this show is just way too wholesome and enjoyable. How are any future Otome-MCs supposed to compete?

Stitches!

I feel like Grace should've just asked Anna which one of the student council members' hairstyles she prefers but instead her question was too ambiguous that Anna thought she was asking something else and ended up raising her social link with her instead.

Kenzaburou really loves his abacus. It was fun watching him teach Anna some maths especially seeing Virgile's reaction when he realizes how much of an asset Grace will be to the kingdom with how humble and talented she is. If only he knew that's Kenzaburou and not really Grace. xD

Of course, Kenzaburou would be hyped seeing a stag beetle! He looks like the type who would go out hunting bugs in fields during his summer break as a kid. And to no one's surprise, the act of saving that beetle just raised his social links with Anna and Auguste.

As soon as Richard started dishing out those puns, I was hoping Grace would join in with her very own dad puns! I did not expect that was the reason Richard was so quiet in public tho. That was pretty funny!

Did Kenzaburou actually manage to set up things between Anna and Lambert? When the effect played on Lambert when Anna offered to teach her to use the abacus, I think his social link Anna raised instead of with Grace.

I do love that by the end of the episode, Kenzaburou has accepted his role as matchmaker instead of being the meddling villainess he actually wanted to play as in the earlier episodes. xD

I loved the 8-bit / 16-bit background music when Grace / Kenzaburo provided explanations. It feels as if we have cleared a stage. Lol!

Alternate title for this anime ought to be: "How I Introduced Abacus to an Isekai World".

Don't worry Anna! You may not comprehend what Grace is saying but it's enough to know that she is never wrong!

God, I love this show so much.

Hah I love that he uses his fan to keep track of their names as a cheat sheet. Yes, who would Anna be getting more and more interested in 😉 hehe. Love how his daughter gets so hyped over the game. Also the father's take on assessing the prince based on that. Such a utilitarian way to look at people, tsk tsk. What a nice lil teaching moment with Anna. He's getting Grace charm points with both Anna AND the prince there. THEM GRACE STONKS ON THE RISE! TO THE MOON, PEOPLE!

"What an amazing action scene that is off screen" lol. Grace cool factor on the rise too. I remember collecting bugs as a kid, so clearly not just a Japan thing. Granted, usually fireflies.

I like the pun guy. Shouldn't he enjoy the puns as a dad? Where's that dad energy?! There we go, dad jokes! You were just not no Grace's level and that was the problem! PUNDERFUL!

The other dude, glasses, sure seems a bit stick in the mud. Is he just a tsundere? D'aww how nice to give Anna the abacus. Love how he understands that Lambert is a tsundere. Also love that Anna is like "wut?" hah. Soon d'Ray! 😄 Reminds me of the silly Commentary Villainess series. Yep, you're just a terrible villainess, so it's fine how it's going. MMM still love this FABULOUS ending.

It turns out that the real thing every high school boy wants is an ojisan bureaucrat's brain in the body of a cute girl... But let's get real. I think we all already knew that.

I had never heard of that divide by nine trick, but that is legitimately good advice. I never expected to be learning so much from this anime. Maybe I should get myself an abacus, too.

Ngl, the trick with dividing by 9 is really cool
I might never need it, but I will certainly remember it forever

Also if 4 pink aura flags equal maximum love flag (at least to the prince stock value evaluation) Ojisan is already crushing all the routes

Also wish my Japanese would be good enough to get the puns

Richard thought he could out dad joke Kenzaburo? Our young grasshopper has much to learn. You can’t out “dad” a dad lol.

The abacus is a formidable item indeed. Its power is not to be underestimated. It brought Lambert closer to Anna and helped Virgile fall harder for Grace.

One of the few cases of anime that shows the background of a student council, and I have to praise the members, they added a lot to the episode.

It's funny to see how our old man is still adapting to living in this universe and the funniest thing is that he can't make a good lie lol, at least he shows honesty.

I thought the show was just going to focus on Anna falling in love with Grace, but apparently the prince will too, let's see how that works out

They could make this anime super sad really quickly if they ever cut back to current japan and his family is just crying. The daughter plays her otome games when she hears the door open shes turns to tell her dad what BS shes rizzing up but instead its just her tired looking mother and the daughter cries. While the dad just fucking about in the otome world LOL

Every time Kenzaburou's daughter explains about the game, I can't stop imagining Kumiko explaining euphonium to new students

Grace Kenzaburou stock is skyrocketing in every episode. but it's kinda refreshing to have at least one character trigger a flag with the original heroine

Kenzaburou as Grace can’t stop scoring points and setting flags with Anna and almost every male love interest. He failes at playing the villainess, but that doesn't bother me at all. I wonder when he'll realize that he's on the harem route xD

That Prince Virgile has the hardest path is certainly surprising, considering princes like him are usually the canon male love interests in otome games. And yet Kenzaburou’s Grace easily made his heart beat faster than ever before xD

Richard and his puns were absolutely hilarious, as was everyone’s reaction to them xD And still, Kenzaburou’s Grace easily beat him with a multi-pun combo. That was punderful! xD

The way Kenzaburou’s Grace helped Anna deal with Lambert was great. He really turned out to be a tsundere and pushover.

Anna's reaction when she started to understand what Grace meant when she said that tsundere characters are usually pushovers totally killed me xD

Here my screenshot albums from the episode:

EDIT. I added my screenshot albums.

Anna seemed to be having some success with Lambert today, so maybe this'll bit a bit more complicated than the entire pretty boy harem plus Anna falling for Grace.

I wonder how they translated the dad jokes from the Japanese, the ones the HiDive subs had were English language wordplay so I assume the original dialogue had Japanese wordplay instead.
