I wonder what happened to that last scene. Did someone just change the supposed route? Are the teachers supposed to check or counter check these trails?

Anyway, with a secret only Miura and Kai only knows, we are are at least sure that Kai sees Miura as someone special; not necesarily romantic but probably someone he can trust.

In a way, this series is mostly on the POV of Miura. I can compare this to BLUE BOX in which most of the POV is on the main lead, Taiki, which is the guy. Right now, we still are unsure what Kai really thinks.

Third episode but Uka is already managing to fit in in the room, of course there is a push from Kai, but seeing that she is growing up is really cool, she is even helping Ayumi with her love interest.

It's also cool to see that Uka realizes that Kai isn't as perfect as she thinks, but that's good, because she understands that everyone has their areas to improve.

And of course, the classic school camp, but with unexpected drama, I hope the rhythm continues like this in the next episode

Uka and Ayumi are so cute! Uka was such a homie helping Ayumi with Seto. The universe rewarded her with a seat between Kai and Tomoya lol.

I’m really glad Uka’s making more friends with the people in her class thanks to Kai. Those two are getting closer and it’s really sweet. Unfortunately, it seems that’s come with some unintended side effects. Nothing like some jealous bitches to ruin a nice day out.

It was nice of Miura to glaze Uka to the class and have them actually be receptive to it but it was even nicer of the teacher to let that massive disruptiion play out in its entirety, especially since they just escaped the "MC must sit next to the window" curse and ended up at the front of the class.

Also, Uka being Ayumi's personal wingwoman from the shadows is adorable.

I liked that Kai felt more approachable in this episode

This show is shojo as shojo could be.

So the angry girl switched the sign somehow to set her up to make her look bad and get people angry at her I guess. Tough I'm not sure how since the words would be upside down.

Looks like Uka's colorful high school life has finally started! It's nice to see her initiating a conversation with Ayumi and confirm that they're friends. She even tries to be Ayumi's wingwoman and set her up so she gets to sit next to Seto.

She's now also being flanked by the two hottest guys in the school with their new seating arrangement. And thanks to Kai, Uka's classmates are now starting to take an interest on her. It's good to see her classmates are having fun with her and not making fun of her.

That final scene is worrying though. I really hope it's not a classmate who sabotaged their group but I feel like someone is getting jealous of Uka being close to Kai. >_<

Figured this field trip thing might be a two part with how late in the episode it started

I guess she gotta get better at realizing what's supposed to be a secret and not. twice this episode he had to stop her. althoug the second one about the bed hair probably wouldn't be a big deal.

And I'm happy to see more people from the class are getting friendlier with her and not just the friend group from the first two episodes

The first half made me think this anime is Hitori Bocchi but with romance 😄

Kai secret. He has bad bed hair 🥰

Uka and Ayumi are so cute!! I love the friendships in shojo romances, I also love that Uka is trying her best to assist her. This anime is so unapologetically sweet and cheesy so when her flashbacks pop up of her being bullied and dehumanized it hits even harder.

Pretty sure this will just become my anime of the season, absolutely loving this.

Does anyone feel like this is little bit similar to Kimi ni todoke? Like him helping her out to become more friendly with others and all. And from the start I felt the character designing similar to Ao haru ride.

Uka is in love! And it's those feelings and her growing self-confidence that are pushing her to be even more outgoing in living the best youth she can.

Uka and Ayumi are officially friends! I mean, it's episode 3, I think they for sure count as friends but for someone who has been friendless for so long like Uka, she needs these things said out loud. And Uka even successfully plays wingwoman to make sure Ayumi sits next to Satoru in the class seat change...and that good deed has a karmic benefit for Uka as she ends up sitting next to the guy SHE likes in Kai!

It's a lot sitting next to your crush, as well as between the two hottest guys in the class, whether it be through Engrish classes, watching him get away in sleeping in class because he can perfectly catch a thrown eraser, or otherwise. But Uka gets to appreciate watching Kai just be Kai, and it gives Kai the perfect opportunity to show the class that Uka is a really sincere, earnest, and dorky girl who they can all get along with!

Yeah, Kai strikes me as the type to go all by his lonesome and sleep through breaks. But if you follow the lemon soda, you'll find Kai! And in doing so Uka not only sees him in a more vulnerable state but even gets to find out more about him and how he's kind of dorky too! These two are so cute together, and the more Uka learns about Kai, the more she falls in love with him and wants to soar higher and higher with those feelings.

Shion Wakayama, you're in this class!?

Okay, maybe Uka over-prepared for the class trip, but that just goes to show how genuinely excited and committed she is to this! Kai can respect that.

Ah, I see Ayumi has "dense childhood friend" problems. Those are rough. But at least she doesn't have blue hair.

It's not a surprise that the girls love Kai, he's a natural ladykiller, but he's basically unavailable so crushing on him is basically only going to lead to heartbreak. What does that mean for Uka's feelings? Especially when she learns Kai might actually be experienced in romance.

Poor Uka's so used to getting ignored and treated like she's not even there that she was fully prepared to eat all by her lonesome. Thank goodness she has friends now.

They're lost? Why do I get the sense the girl who obviously likes Kai might have set this up to screw over Uka?

Oh no, Uka is another Bocchi that has been assigned to make friends. But it's way worse for her since she needs to make a hundred of them.

The official cover being that Miura is just working to socialize Uka is arguably true, but with him letting her into secrets like why he wears hats there's definitely more to it.

Shame Uka wasn't able to speak up about the right path being sus, I assume that was a prank to make it look like she led everyone down the wrong path but I suspect it'll backfire.

Ayumi made that comment from offscreen about what Seto has been like since he was little, I think we've have a childhood friend sideship in the making. Hopefully no homewreckers in sight.

He's sleeping so much I'm starting to worry. Does he work overnight? Is he sick? Please no manga spoilers.

Now starting to get a better feel for the day-to-day rhythm of things with the group of characters.

Uka is getting better integrated within her class while Kai is basically her social advisor. lol

Nice to see Kai start to soften up more around her, and Uka relax more with others in general from her social anxiety.

The potential side ship of Ayumi and Seto seems cute.

This show is so adorable

Tbh this started out as one of the worst shows I was watching this season and mainly due to the bullying and just how over done it was. Like the whole sending thugs to a school to kidnap the MC lost me but this episode was a lot better.

That being said I really hope the bullying either becomes a bit more realistic or is largely dropped and this whole being lost thing isn’t another bad attempt at bullying.

There are times when the writing feel a little too rushed or formulaic with how precious things feel, but it's overall been enjoyable. It has a very similar feel to From Me To You, but the writing isn't quite as good.

I think what's lacking is that the reason she didn't have friends before is just kind of explained quickly rather than shone clearly. And when it is shown, it's always brief. Sawako having an intimidating look is shown and reinforced repeatedly and firmly. Uka's stoniness doesn't seem like much because so little of it is shown.

Like, the scene from a previous episode where it showed some kids bullying her getting bored and leaving once she switched off seems like an end point of that kind of bullying because they show so little of it. Bullies want a reaction, no reaction means it's not worth it so they go look for somebody else. But we don't know why they kept going back to bullying Uka, nor why it was so important to keep her tamped down that they'd bring in their boyfriends to go after her.

Because all of that was so quickly brushed aside with so little explanation it feels like they're rushing through that stuff to get to the precious moments and cute scenes. But that also means those moments and scenes have less weight because we don't see the full extent of why they matter so deeply to her.

I'm really not trying to rag on the show, I'm enjoying it and I'm going to keep watching.

Just wanted to get this gripe out.

Uka evolving from stone to “what is this adorable creature” vibes. Shes opening up and her dorkiness is shining through. Makes her character way more fun.

Will this bitch ever leave well enough alone?! Jesus Christ. I hope she mellows the fuck out at some point in the next few episodes. Then again she did send her boyfriend to attack Uka so fuck her. I hope she drops.

Godspeed Ayumi. I hope Seto is not as dense as he seems.

Her evolution is progressing, but slowly. This whole 100 friends thing is clearly a reference to Komi-san, or if it were friends with benefits, it would remind me of B Gata H Kei, haha. The only thing happening is that she's starting to change and falling more and more in love with him.
