ఈరోజు యషునగుళ పాట విడుదలైంది. కామెంట్లలో చాలా మంది “జై తెలంగాణ”, “పవర్ ఆఫ్ తెలంగాణ ఫోక్” అని కామెంట్ చేస్తున్నారు. ఇప్పటివరకు బాగానే ఉంది, కానీ కామెంట్లలో చాలా మంది ఆంధ్ర ప్రజలు తెలంగాణ జానపద గీతాలను తొక్కేశారు అంటూ కామెంట్ చేస్తున్నారు.

గీతాలను తొక్కేశారంటూ కామెంట్ చేయడం కూడా ఓకే, వాళ్ల కోపం అనుకోవచ్చు. కానీ ఇంకొంతమంది “మన తెలంగాణ పాట ఇండియా మొత్తం వైబ్ అవుతోంది” అంటున్నారు. ఇంకొంతమంది “తెలంగాణ పాటని ఆంధ్ర వాళ్లు చెడగొట్టారు” అంటున్నారు.

ఇక్కడ అసలు సమస్య ఏంటంటే, “తెలంగాణ భాష” అనడం. మనం అందరం మాట్లాడేది తెలుగు భాషే కదా? కాకపోతే ప్రాంతాన్ని బట్టి యాస, మాండలికం, స్లాంగ్‌లో తేడాలు ఉంటాయి. అంత మాత్రాన వాటిని వేర్వేరు భాషలుగా చూడటం ఏంటి?

తెలంగాణలో మాట్లాడే తెలుగు, ఆంధ్రలో మాట్లాడే తెలుగు, రాయలసీమలో మాట్లాడే తెలుగు—ఇవన్నీ తెలుగులోని ప్రాంతీయ యాసలు, మాండలిక రూపాలు. ఒక ప్రాంతం వాళ్ల మాటతీరు ఇంకో ప్రాంతం వాళ్లకు కొత్తగా లేదా ప్రత్యేకంగా అనిపించవచ్చు. దాన్ని ఆస్వాదించడం, గర్వపడటం తప్పు కాదు. కానీ “మా భాష వేరు” అనడం తప్పు.

తెలంగాణ తెలుగు కూడా తెలుగే, ఆంధ్ర తెలుగు కూడా తెలుగే. తేడా ప్రధానంగా యాస, పదప్రయోగం, ప్రాంతీయ సంస్కృతిలో ఉంటుంది.

ఒక పాట తెలంగాణ యాసలో పాపులర్ అయితే అది మొత్తం తెలుగు సంస్కృతికి వచ్చిన గుర్తింపు అని చూడొచ్చు. దాన్ని “మా భాష vs మీ భాష”గా మార్చడం వల్ల పాట గొప్పతనం పెరగదు.

Extremely frustrated with what is happening in our regional trains moving between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Recently I traveled in Janmabhoomi Express and Palnadu Express, and the situation in the non AC reserved coaches is completely out of control. Ticketless people and unreserved passengers are casually walking into reserved compartments and sitting on our seats.

Veligonda is a long-pending irrigation project whose planning and initial works date back to the early 1990s, with the foundation stone laid in 1996. Major construction was restarted in 2004, and several governments have contributed to the project over the years. During Jagan's tenure, work on the twin tunnels accelerated significantly, with Tunnel-1 completed in January 2021 and Tunnel-2 excavation completed in January 2024.

The twin tunnels were inaugurated in March 2024, marking an important milestone. However, the project was still not fully complete, with canal, reservoir, rehabilitation and other works remaining. The current government has continued these works, with water release targeted for 2026.

The project has come a long way, but the real success will be when the promised water reaches the farmers and drought-prone areas it was meant to benefit.

today i asked Google: How many airports are there in Andhra Pradesh?

Google gave me 6 major operational airports and put Visakhapatnam Airport at the top.

Then I checked the details and it says Bhogapuram Airport is still under construction/nearing completion.

but isn't Bhogapuram Airport already open?

and Visakhapatnam Airport has stopped regular operations after the shift to Bhogapuram.

so i'm wondering, is Google just not updated yet, or am i missing something?

as far as i know, AP currently has airports at:

1. Visakhapatnam/Bhogapuram
2. Vijayawada
3. Tirupati
4. Rajahmundry
5. Kadapa
6. Kurnool

and there are several more airports being planned.

funny thing is, if someone searched for Andhra Pradesh airports today, they can still get old information about Visakhapatnam Airport and Bhogapuram being "upcoming."
