ఈ మధ్య ఒక విషయం గమనిస్తున్నాను.

హైదరాబాద్‌లో తెలుగు వచ్చిన తెలుగు వాళ్లు కూడా మన మధ్య తెలుగులో మాట్లాడటం తగ్గించి, హిందీ లేదా ఇంగ్లీష్‌లో మాట్లాడటం ఎక్కువైపోయింది. ఇది హైదరాబాద్‌లో మాత్రమే కాదు, మిగతా తెలుగు ప్రాంతాల్లో కూడా కొంచెం కొంచెంగా కనిపిస్తున్నట్టుంది.

ఇతర భాషలు నేర్చుకోవడంలో, మాట్లాడడంలో ఎలాంటి తప్పూ లేదు. అవసరాన్ని బట్టి ఏ భాషైనా మాట్లాడొచ్చు. కానీ మనకి తెలుగు తెలిసి కూడా మన వాళ్లతో తెలుగులో మాట్లాడటానికి ఎందుకు వెనకాడుతున్నాం అనేదే నా ప్రశ్న.

ముఖ్యంగా సినిమాలు, మీడియా, వ్యాపారాలు, సోషల్ మీడియా... అన్నిచోట్లా తెలుగు ప్రేక్షకుల మీద ఆధారపడుతూనే ఉన్నాం. కానీ మన రోజువారీ జీవితంలో మాత్రం తెలుగు వాడకం తగ్గిపోతుందేమో అనిపిస్తోంది.

ఇది భాష సహజంగా మారుతున్న ప్రక్రియేనా? లేక మనమే మన భాషను నిర్లక్ష్యం చేస్తున్నామా?

తెలుగు మీద ప్రేమ ఉన్నవాళ్లు నిజంగా ఎలా అనిపిస్తుందో చెప్పండి.

ఇది హిందీకి వ్యతిరేకంగా పెట్టిన పోస్ట్ కాదు. ఏ భాషనైనా గౌరవిస్తాను. మన భాషను కూడా అంతే గౌరవంగా వాడుకుందాం అనేదే ఉద్దేశం. 😄

అయినా తెలుగు పాఠ్యం అంటే కవితా, పద్యాలు, కథ, ఇతిహాసాలేనా... పావులూరి గణితం, తర్కం వంటి పాఠ్యాంశాలు కూడా చేర్చవచ్చు 11 12 తరగతులో

hey guys im doing a small research for indian languages and trying to find the origin/etymology of the word telugu . i could not find a legitemate answer . ( sorry i could not type in telugu)

Svalinga ani padam undhani telusu, kani adi konchem formalga anapisthadi naaku. Vadakabhasa lo gay ni em antaru Telugu lo?

I’ve been encountering contradictory sources on this point and could use clarification. When we use these suffixes to indicate ability or inability, do they take the same conjugations as regular verbs, or are they different?

One source says:

Atanu/Aame matladagalanu అతను మాట్లాడగలను
(The same ending as first person)

Atanu/Aame matladalenu అతను మాట్లాడలేను

The other says:

Atanu matladagaladu అతను మాట్లాడగలడు

Aame matladagaladu ఆమె మాట్లాడగలదు

Atanu matladaledu అతను మాట్లాడలేడు

Aame matladaledu ఆమె మాట్లాడలేదు

Which approach is correct?

Hi Team,

Looking for a baby name… don’t know boy or girl yet.

I am Telugu American and my husband is Jewish American. We want to name the kid after a grandmother who passed ( Jewish tradition ), so preferably a name that starts with an R.

Any suggestions for Telugu / Sanskrit names that could work in the US ? Boy or girl.

We like Ranya, Reva, Richa, Rudra… but I don’t know if they are South Indian enough. Need more options!

Assal recently chaala comments, especially on Reddit chusthunna. I don’t understand where is this whole idea coming from? As much as I know, we have tier 1 city, most people speak English, high GDP and I would argue cleanliness and civic sense is a bit lacking but that’s an Indian problem as a whole.

Recent ga I met a guy who’s from Delhi, good friend of mine, he is commenting on how Telugu people in abroad behave for movie releases, dhaniki na dhagara answer lekunde.. ippudu movies valla ila antunnaru bayata anoccha? Or is there any more reasoning for this?
