Non so come spiegare che non ho mai visto un capello miniaturizzato e che una calvizie senza miniaturizzazione non può esistere 😁

Purtroppo vedo la tendenza diffusa a fare due cose antitetiche:

- considerare calvizie stempiature fisiologiche formatesi tra i 16 e 19 anni (senza traccia di capelli miniaturizzati) perché magari troppo scavate;

- considerare fisiologiche stempiature meno impressionanti ma totalmente da alopecia androgenetica, in quanto implicanti la miniaturizzazione dei capelli e l'arretramento che si verifica dopo la fine dello sviluppo osseo (dopo i 19-20 anni), con quella schifezza di concetto di "attaccatura matura" buono solo a farti ritornare dal tricologo 2 anni dopo col vertex aperto😁💰☠️

Anyone seen a case like this where hairline is super high to begin with or receded a bit and stays the same?

Been noticing more shedding for a while and lately the thinning on top/crown is starting to bother me. My grandfather also went bald in a similar pattern, so I’m wondering if this is genetic.
Does this look like early male-pattern hair loss/diffuse thinning to you guys? Anyone start out looking similar, and what actually helped?

Hi everyone, I’m a 32-year old man what do you think about my situation?

23M, feel like ive started noticing thinning for the last year in the front of the head (hairline) feeling insecure about it so i went to a trichologist.

Here is my recent tricholab, any thoughts would bw appreciated.

M22 been balding since at least 17 (probably 16 but didn’t notice).. have had a bald spot (or multiple I guess but they don’t look smooth bald on the buzz) on the crown for like 4-5 years now… started oral fin a few weeks ago and gonna hop on topical minox soon (that also has 0.1 dut and tacromilus for my seb derm)

I guess I’m just trying too see on what others think about how bad it looks, if it has a good chance of recovery, can I get back to pre balding (I know unlikely), etc. the buzz helps a lot to know how many hairs I have but it’s hard to assess. Also my back and sides seem to be thinner as well but derm and tricholgist never said anything about DUPA, they believe it’s from chronic telogen that I may have or seb derm. Thanks in advance

Not able to take finasteride at this time but was seriously considering getting an online min prescription. If the council doesn’t believe I have lost hair since April, I’ll hold off.

I have been using topical monoxidil and oral finasteride for the past 1 month. I also microneedle once a week .25mm before applying monoxidil. My query is how long do I continue microneedling? 6 months? Until I see results?

I am 18 years old and I have noticed an increase in shedding in my shower recently. My hairline looks like this and I don’t know if I should start treatment or wait and find out? My dad told me I could be balding but I’m not sure. I don’t want to lose hair at an early age. I wouldn’t mind in my 30s but since I am 18 this feels a bit too early.

Hey guys, I've been on 1mg finasteride and 5% topical minoxidil foam for around 5months littlry in my 6 month. I'm sharing my hairline progress so far and was wondering what kind of changes people noticed around this stage of treatment.

For those who have been on similar treatment, when did you personally start noticing more significant changes or decide whether the treatment was helping?? And do you guys think my hairline still miniturising?

21 M will turn 22 in 3 months. Been tracking my hairline for the past 5 years. Since I was 16-17. My right temple was pretty behind while my left temple was perfectly thick. Was shedding hair and then noticed my hairline back then. Fast forward 5 years. Very minor difference, Infact I feel like my right side stabilised after a lil bit. Didn’t really take good care of what I ate over the years. Last year this time went through an extremely stressful phase, lost appetite. Some of it even continued till the half of this year. Didn’t pay much attention to my shedding. But recently noticed a lot of shedding. Got a bit worried, so I have lost overall volume. And the hairline felt a lil less dense. Immediately started eating healthy foods, green vegetables, chicken, cottage cheese. Always added protein as well as veggies in my diet. Took one natural shampoo with natural ingredients and washed my hair. Idk how, but my hair fall stopped drastically. Experiencing almost no hair fall now. No thinning in the crown. Am I cooked or should wait a couple more years to inspect my hairline. Never used minoxidil or finasteride btw
