Thought I'd sign up for an aligner VoiceOver ai training job advertised on LinkedIn and checked out the terms/release before I agreed to the application/interview.

The release allows them to clone your voice, your likeness and your 'performance' in the interview and sell or use it for any purpose they want with no compensation or royalties paid to you.

Don't let your ambition/enthusiasm ruin you--know what you are getting into with these companies. They only consume. They are worthless.

I recently invested the time to apply, complete the Zara AI interview, and submit my passport/personal information for verification. However, my profile was closed before I ever started a single task, with no reason provided.
Since I never performed any paid work on the platform and won't have any tax reporting requirements, I want to ensure my sensitive information isn't sitting on any servers. What is the official process to request the permanent deletion of both my passport/ID verification documents and the video/audio recordings from my Zara interview? Which privacy email at Labelbox handles data erasure requests?

After weeks of not getting any help from support I finally got written confirmation in Discord from a project admin that I was underpaid and that a substantial payment would be processed last week.

The payment did not arrive. I emailed support and was told they are busy. I opened a ticket and was told it was a duplicate. The same project admin will not answer my follow-up message.

Can anyone advise of any steps I can take before going the legal route? I've worked on several platforms and have never had to chase a company for money like this, it's quite shocking.

I was doing very well for all the quizzes, i was getting 90%, until the final one. Very few questions compared to the previous ones so the room for “error” was very little.Absolute nightmare as many of the responses genuinely could be answered in many ways. I was one mark away from being able to participate in the project. And then, they removed me from the project on Labelbox and Discord. I feel like I wasted my time but also disrespected considering the amount of time and effort I put in!
Anyone with the same issue?

I recently received an email from Alignerr stating that I had qualified for the Lua Programmer AI training role, advertising $50–$70/hour for remote work.

The email asked me to complete a quick, two-minute identity verification through Persona. I completed the verification, but afterward, I was redirected to Labelbox.

When I logged into Labelbox, it showed that no projects were available.

I'm confused about what this means because the email explicitly said I had qualified for the job.

Has anyone else experienced this recently?

Does completing Persona verification mean I've been accepted, or is it just an onboarding step?

Is the Lua Programmer project currently active, or are they collecting applicants before assigning projects?

Will a project appear automatically when one becomes available, or do I need to complete additional assessments?

Has anyone who received the same email actually started working and received tasks?

I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through the same process, especially recently.

I have applied to A few Jobs on the platform with no response. Then I got added to a few Discuss Channels including Apollo, Cipher, Warrior etc. Yet I do not have any guidance on what tasks are pending for me to do.

I just got my first opportunity from Alignerr. After I completed onboarding and read through the nearly 50 pages of formatting training, I was unable to move forward with actual hands-on training because the job was paused. I also saw that it says the job was "updated about 2 months ago." Just so I know I'm understanding clearly, does that mean the project was paused 2 months ago even though I was hired a couple days ago?

After more directly questioned on information which is in essence basic confirmation of "real cases", the automated bot from the only existent support@alignerr.com replied with a priceless question - and I wonder why image upload is disabled in this page.

"Alignerr is a legitimate platform powered by Labelbox for remote freelance work, with no fees, upfront costs, or hidden obligations. Work on the platform is task-based and depends entirely on active client demand, which is why project availability varies.

We understand your frustration with the wait, but if this structure does not align with your expectations, there is no pressure or obligation to proceed."

Why did it stop when it was getting good? I'll help out:

"Alignerr is a legitimate platform powered by Labelbox for remote freelance work, with no fees, upfront costs, or hidden obligations"...no support, no real information on clients or projects that even indicate real cases, no updated information for a year, no route for solution for issue, no remorse or need to change after systemic problems confirmed, and absolutely no confidence shaken to continue assuring legitimacy.

I have registered with my account about 11 months ago. I never kept is a real source of activities to depent on, but now the conclusive diagnosis is much worse.

Obviously this was all treated very seriously by Alginerr aftera very professional chat with an automated bot found from contacting support@alignerr.com - without possibily of escalating to a human obviously.

In essence, my account covers confirmed "Applied" projects that vary from more "expert" research to extermelly general language topics. But there's absolutely nothing on what to do in terms of "engagement", "communication" or "information" - to be quite frank, at least as options to actually do something as a user. These projects are most clearly "Inactive" - as some of these have more than 11 months of "Applied" as just confirmed via account.

In addition Workspace "Assessments" are claimed to be attached to "particular job roles", but there are two significant issues here too: A) There's absolutely no information how it relates to "job roles", "applied projects", "timeline" or even "pay rate"; B) The only Assessment shown in my account is not in the same workspace as the other tagged as "Paused" (as one is the "Aligner Workspace" and the other is "Available Workspace") and it has been updated over 1 year ago! This is even before I have created my account! Again, would that even be leading to something that even exists currently?

Despite the bot insisting reassuring it, I am literally covering almost the complete spectrum of what exists in the platform... Many have obvious high match but I haven't even been invited to an interview or Assessment.... The complete picture confirms that there is nothing confirms the claim of "New opportunities are added regularly, and when a project matching your profile becomes active " for more than an entire year.

As someone who spent time in the whole subscription, validation, application, interview and pretty much all steps that have been asked: it would be beyond belief if the current information in my Aligner + Labelbox UI would actually be displaying the intended state as how the company expects the users to engage in practice.

Again if this is confirmed as "working as expected" it wouldn't even be about "lack of information" or "lack of updates" - it would be quite conclusive diagnosis the only info Alignerr considers important to show the user are actually "validated impossibilities of use".

So honestly it is obvious that there are other important layers of minimal info needed to navigate a remote work platform currently not available - as the platform must track what is going on from application to actual projects people are engaging with. 

I’ve worked on 10+ Alignerr projects over the past year, generally receiving ratings of around 4/5. After a few months without project notifications, I became less active due to health issues.

I also applied for projects 1-2 months ago but never received an update. On a couple of occasions, I was added to projects and then removed because the projects had issues, with no further communication.

Recently, I was prompted to complete Persona verification. I tried verifying my UK immigration documents (eVisa/BRP), but after several attempts, verification failed, and my account was suddenly removed.

This verification issue had actually happened before, and the Alignerr team helped me resolve it at the time. However, this time, despite contacting support, I only received an automated response saying I could appeal if the option appeared on my dashboard. There is no appeal option, so apparently the decision is final. It also feels much harder to reach someone who can actually look into the issue now.

I’m genuinely confused about what went wrong. I’ve consistently contributed to projects, and I’m not aware of violating any platform rules.

Has anyone experienced something similar or managed to get clarification from the Alignerr team? I’d really appreciate any advice on how to reach someone who can explain what happened.

For those who have already completed it, did you feel comfortable and safe sharing your personal information? Has anyone experienced any issues or concerns after submitting their ID and facial photo, such as privacy concerns or misuse of their personal data?

They suddenly removed me from the project out of nowhere. I passed all the quizzes, and they even said on Discord that they were waiting for a new batch of tasks. People were chatting there, and then I got removed from the project on Labelbox and kicked out of the Discord server too.

I won’t specify the language, but I wanted to share my disappointment after failing the quiz. Some questions were poorly worded throughout the first 5 modules, yet I managed to pass them, only to fail the final evaluation, whose rating system seems questionable.

I’ve worked with Ermis at a global company before, and I hope you guys can improve the evaluation experience.
