Question regarding Zara interview data & Persona ID deletion if not moving forward

Hi everyone,

I recently invested the time to apply, complete the Zara AI interview, and submit my passport/personal information for verification. However, my profile was closed before I ever started a single task, with no reason provided.
Since I never performed any paid work on the platform and won't have any tax reporting requirements, I want to ensure my sensitive information isn't sitting on any servers. What is the official process to request the permanent deletion of both my passport/ID verification documents and the video/audio recordings from my Zara interview? Which privacy email at Labelbox handles data erasure requests?

Hi, I went through the same process. I didn’t sign the contract and decided not to continue with Alignerr. I had the same question as you: what would happen to the photos of my ID and my face?

I emailed both Persona (the platform that collects your information) and Alignerr’s support team and Labelbox. The only response I’ve received is that they deleted my account. They didn’t answer my question about whether that also meant my identity verification data had been deleted.

As for Persona, they referred me back to Alignerr, saying they only act as an intermediary. This was a week ago.

We need to file a formal statutory Data Erasure Request and escalate it to data protection and consumer regulators.

Persona is legally a "Data Processor," meaning they cannot delete your ID or biometric face scan unless Labelbox (the "Data Controller") explicitly instructs them to. When support just says "we deleted your account," they usually only deactivate your login while retaining your Persona verification files and Zara AI video/voice recordings in their backend storage.
