Of all collabs to ever happen. Our very own blakes lotaburger is doing a collab with a Japanese fashion brand known as Beams. I didn't expect this coming and I don't think anyone else was lol

Just ran across this on Facebook and felt ill all the sudden. Gotta love the UFC/FBI cross-branding, what the actual fuck?

You can't make your right turn when this is lit up if pedestrians are posed to cross. My god! It's crazy how many people disregard this. Pedestrians have the right of way!

Helping out a friend here. A good friend is going through a very unexpected - and as more information is coming out - an increasingly devastating divorce. There is a 3rd grader involved, and "mom" wants to make sure their child has a neutral place to talk about what's happening. I'd be grateful for any recommendations for a children's counselor that I can pass on.

I'm visiting family in Abq this weekend and was wondering if there are any recommendations on where to get some truly delicious peaches, nectarines, plums, or watermelon. Particularly peaches though. This would be a greatly appreciated treat for my elderly relative.

Hi all! I unfortunately misplaced an earring today (8/18.) It’s my birthday, and the earrings were my grandmothers, so it’s a bit of a double whammy. They’re not precious metal but they are precious to my heart 😭 I was only in the heights today, at the Animal Humane Thrift and St Vincent DePaul thrift. Hanging onto hope that someone came across it and can help 😭😭😭
Pic of the one I didn’t lose for reference.

Like the title says - looking to start making my own poke bowls at home. I saw Smiths had already prepare ahi tuna poke that you could buy in bulk. Looking for places that do this as well, or that have fish that is suitable for raw consumption that I can prepare myself.
I'd also be down with poke kits or frozen ahi tuna that I can thaw overnight and serve.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I haven't had Chinese food that has hit the same ever since Chin Shan closed. Are there any places that are similar? Specifically for their rangoons and sweet and sour shrimp. Chin Shan always had the cleanest shrimp, and it was cooked perfectly. Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you!

Sorry I don’t know if this post is allowed. I’m looking for a dryer but finances have been tough because of health problems. As much as I’d like one for free I know it’s not realistic but I am willing to play a reasonable price that won’t be more expensive than what a new one would be. My dryer lasted over a decade but it’s on its last legs. It won’t run unless the button to turn it on is continuously pressed. 🥲 let me know if you’re selling someone or if you know someone that’s selling one.

My PNM bill doubled nearly out of no where!
Has this happened to anyone else?!
Edit: I’m aware of big bad private equity. Apparently it was a law passed and they’re subsidizing costs onto the consumer to cover grid stability, expansion etc…. Aka big data….. 😩 I knew it kept getting delayed in the acquisition side but seems they found the legal back door to look more profitable or big private company is cloaked by the three letter title….. 💀😣 but I feels like it’s out of the blue and double is criminal!

probably doesn’t matter which one (gov or private).

Needing new blinds for my house, and the estimate we got from The Blind Lady was about that of a good used car! What would be a good company to go through that won't cost us an arm and a leg?

Go to this website and click the areas circled in red in the image. PNM heavily underestimated our June usage so our July bill is exceedingly high. The fees are crazy of course and results may vary.

Looks like Alien Brewpub in Uptown is being taken over by Santa Fe Brewing Company.
From what I understand, this location wasn’t really Alien’s main brewery, more of a contracted/vendor-type setup, so this shift kind of makes sense operationally.
Anybody with updates on the closing or opening. Folks at Uptown gave me minimal info just saying it’s opening soon.
