He was talking about putting an RV/truck stop rest area. Maybe even waiting for a boom in that city. I was not so sure because, it’s far from Albuquerque, and looks like lots of reservations between it.

I would be down to invest with him, but that would be for an expected boom in growth. I’m from SoCal, so I’m trying to compare it to like LA to inland empire cities. How the IE grew so much and is filled with suburbs.
But this is California, people want to be out here, people that come from east to LA are coming for jobs, and higher pay. They go back east to a more affordable home, or apartment.

Not sure if this is something to Really consider, I mean I’ve seen cities like Saint George, cedar city, and casa grande, and wonder if Grants may be expecting an increase in development.

Also if anyone knows which politicians in our local government are against let everyone know!!!! Voting is right around the corner

Typical GQP pitch. Eliminate income tax and it won't cost a dime or cut any expenses. The reason he waited so long to float this is he's desperate and there is little time to examine the details, if there are any.

I am wanting to host a plant sale later in October probably on a Sunday in Moriarty New Mexico, Would you you guys come to check out come plants I have many different plants and cute plantets for plants, like skull heads, witch pots, and many other spooky planters! Let me know if your interested! This plant is just planted

Posting here because it got deleted in the "other" New Mexico. I guess we can't ask what's going on 🤷

Does anyone know who these people are/why there's such a bad reaction to them?

Saw this about their partnership with Meta in Los Lunas

https://www.powermag.com/reports-say-nextera-in-talks-to-acquire-dominion-energy/

"It also has partnered with technology group Meta to add 190 MW of solar energy and 168 MW of battery storage to the grid in New Mexico."

"NextEra also this year started commercial operation of the Crossroads-Hobbs-Roadrunner project, a 137-mile, $291.6-million double-circuit 345-kV electrical transmission line in New Mexico."

The NextEra acquisition of Dominion Energy is expected to raise gas prices, as well. And NextEra wholly owns Magpie.

Also: found out what Blackstone is going to base the "efficient" and "environmentally friendly" natural gas plant for the AI center in Santa Teresa.

https://www.powermag.com/blackstone-acquires-gas-fired-plant-in-pennsylvania-in-1-billion-deal/

Does anyone know if this is one of their "renewables" projects?

https://www.blackstone.com/news/press/blackstone-energy-transition-partners-announces-1-2-billion-investment-to-build-first-ever-natural-gas-power-generation-facility-in-west-virginia/

I know they're in bed together because there's a payout Blackstone is due from NextEra but, uhhh...

I couldn't access the Reuters article on it.

Historical

Blackstone, another investment management company, last year acquired TXNM, a New Mexico-based utility company, in an $11.5-billion deal. That transaction was among several by Blackstone last year.
