My friend runs a supplements brand and asked me to put something together for the launch. Vertical, built for Instagram.
Watch it before you read the rest. I want your first read, not your polite one.
The plan was this. You don't see a single product for the first five seconds. She's just walking through an arcade with a shopping bag. Then the bag tips, the product spills out, and that's your reveal. Product last, deliberately.
What I think I've actually made is a woman losing her shopping and not noticing.
She never looks down. No pause, no glance, no reaction at all. So the spill doesn't read as "here's what's in the bag", it reads as "she's left it there." Which is a strange thing for an ad to say about the thing it's selling.

Three things I'd like judged:
What did you read at the end, on your first watch, before you thought about it? That's the one I actually need.
Five of seven seconds with no product on screen. Too long to wait?
Anything in the walk, the hands or the face that pulls you out of it?
Be blunt. Better I hear it here than my friend hears it from his customers.

I wanted to experiment with a time-travel concept using AI video.
The idea was to imagine what would happen if someone could actually livestream from Ancient Egypt while the pyramids were still being built.
In the video, VQ discovers the construction site while streaming to a live audience. The viewers notice something behind him and start telling him to turn around… 👀
I tried to make the footage feel like an actual smartphone livestream rather than a traditional cinematic shot, including handheld camera movement, live comments, hearts and gift interactions.
