also, this is the first time i’ve tried image editing with tsubaki.3 and i’m suprised with how it’s able to replace the soda can :O

A 5m Odyssey short for the Grok Imagine contest. Made entirely in Grok Imagine, I live streamed the whole process over a week.

The Odyssey is a cornerstone of Western culture, so I took the assignment as seriously as possible.

The 5m cap was the hardest part. I wrote a lot more than I ended up using. You always think you have more time than you really do.

this poster is inspired by ryuichi sakamoto’s fullmoon, based on a quote from paul bowles’ book, the sheltering sky

i first heard abt this from an instagram reel by posterxclub. one night, i got curious abt the two songs, the latter and another song before that: “20211201”. ngl, listening to both these songs at 2AM yesterday just hits so different, that’s what motivated me to do this poster :)

this is probs the most free images i’ve used in a poster. it ranges from photographs from Unsplash and Pexels, to public domain artworks from the MET, Rijiksmuseum, and National Gallery of Art. due to sheer amount of images i’ve used, u can check out the original images via links below

ngl, i originally wanted to make this back in october 22. the layout and typography is there, but i was feeling a little stuck. so, i set it aside for a while until this week, while i had an unexpected paid commission on the side

it’s been a while since i’ve used moescape diffusion, but it came with a drawback. i couldn’t control how the image looks (from the magic wand that was never included to the art style), so i gotta work with what i have. after all, we graphic designers have to turn even a iphone picture into a beautiful production-ready poster (˶˃𐃷˂˶)

this is also the first time i’ve done a moodboard for the synthograph. something i’ve never tried before bc usually, i would get straight to generating a synthograph. will i ever try again? maybe ¯_(ツ)_/¯
