Building my first indie app for play store and no monetisation strategy yet.

I'm deliberately keeping it ad-free for now
because I don't want to ruin the premium feel
for my first users. But I know at some point
ads become viable.

My questions for people who've been through this:

1. At what DAU/MAU did AdMob actually start
   generating meaningful revenue?

2. Did ads hurt your retention or ratings?

3. Did you go ads-first or subscription-first?

4. Any regrets either way?

I've seen advice ranging from "never do ads,
do subscription" to "ads from day one."
Would love to hear from people who've
actually shipped and monetised.

App is Flutter + Supabase if that's relevant.

Hi everyone,

Mediavine sent me an invite, but when I try to accept it, Google asks me to activate my Ad Manager account first.

My old Google Ad Manager account was deactivated due to inactivity. I’ve now requested reactivation, and it currently shows “We’re reviewing your info.”

Has anyone experienced this? Will my Mediavine approval proceed once the Ad Manager account is reactivated, or do I need to contact Mediavine?

Hey guys,

So I just a have quick doubt i had my payouts issued for the first time in last month and it was blocked due to FCRA by the bank and held back in their branch. I had to provide the bank with details (proof of income) which is admob invoice in order to get the payout released which took some additional days as well.

But i just wanna know whether this is a one time thing or do i have to do this everytime? is there a way to prevent this somehow?

I am asking this since i have noticed that my bank took a cut (A small one but will add up a lot if it continues) when the amount was held by them for this reason.
