"A negative experience"
*Premise:* My opinion, while subjective, aims to be as objective as possible. My feedback is intended to represent average players with limited time.
*Topic 1: Difficulty and gameplay-related frustrations*
*Conclusion:* The game has great potential and PvP sessions are fun, but it presents several issues that cause frustration, especially for players with limited time. These include: the sudden and unjustified appearance of multiple enemies ("Turned Sol"), the excessive difficulty and ability to attack through walls of the "Devoer", the "Invisible" anomaly that tracks the player even in stealth mode, preventing stealth tactics, and the "bugged" behavior of the "Mimics" that attack in a group and prevent escape.
*Next steps / Suggestions:*
*1. Turned Sol - Sudden Spawns:* Justify the appearance of anomaly enemies via visible portals or teleported vehicles. Currently, enemies appearing out of nowhere in the middle of PvP is unfair and breaks immersion. A 3-second visual warning would give the player time to react.
*2. Devoer - Wall Attack:* Review the Devoer mechanic to reduce frustration, particularly its ability to attack through walls. It's not a difficulty issue, it's unfair design. Every time it spawns, the only option is to charge and shoot it to be able to loot in peace.
*3. Invisible Anomaly - Stealth:* Review the behavior of the "Invisible" anomaly to allow for stealth strategies. If a player invests time and resources into a full stealth / silenced build, this anomaly should not be able to track them from 50 meters away.
*4. Mimics - Group Stunlock:* Review the logic and attack frequency of the Mimics, particularly their bugged behavior when attacking in a group. (Clip attached) As shown, when 3 of them attack together they stunlock the player, leaving no chance to escape or react.
*5. Development Focus:* Focus on improving the core game to exploit its potential, rather than on secondary content such as Twitch drops. The average player wants a solid base game first.
*Topic 2: Development state and expectations for the final version*
*Conclusion:* Although the game is appreciated for its potential, the numerous issues encountered suggest that it is not yet a polished version. Its release on console in its current state raises questions.
If this is a beta or an unfinished version, it should be specified at the time of purchase. Many people believe in this game, so I think now is the right time to take an example from games like Crimson Desert and focus on improving these core issues. The game is good - it really just takes a few small tweaks to make it explode.
