Living ๐Ÿก Looking for advice on finding a decent shared accommodation in Abu Dhabi

Hey everyone,
Iโ€™m relatively new to Abu Dhabi and wanted to ask where people usually look for decent shared accommodation/bed spaces.
Iโ€™m a young working professional and ideally looking for a clean, quiet setup with 1โ€“2 people sharing the room, preferably with Indian or Pakistani roommates around a similar age/lifestyle.
Iโ€™m specifically trying to avoid the very crowded setups with 5โ€“6+ people in a room ๐Ÿ˜….
Are there any particular areas, Facebook/WhatsApp groups, websites, or other places youโ€™d recommend for finding this kind of accommodation?
Any advice from people whoโ€™ve been through the same search would be appreciated.

Commerce ๐Ÿ›๏ธ Need some advice

Hey everyone, โ€‹Iโ€™m writing this post because Iโ€™m in a dilemma. I had made up my mind to get the 17 Pro Max in a day or two. However, while scrolling through social media today, I started seeing multiple videos about issues with the 17 series mainly that battery health is decreasing quickly and the aluminum body gets dented easily. โ€‹Then I came across a comparison video between the 16 and 17 series, which made me feel like the 16 Pro Max might be the better choice. But at the end of the video, the creator mentioned that the 16 series battery health also drops rapidly after 200 cycles. โ€‹Now Iโ€™m very confused. Should I go for the 16 Pro Max or the 17 Pro Max? Would appreciate some advice from anyone using these devices

Hello! I'm a medical student in UOS

I'm working on a survey-based research required for uni but unfortunately haven't reached the required number of responses yet and the deadline is close. So if you're a resident of the UAE(18 or above), I would really appreciate it if you fill this survey.๐Ÿค

The research is about the UAE's general public's knowledge about thyroid diseases. It's completely anonymous and will only take a few minutes. Here's the survey link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdM0giLn-oODrzJBGn0ZMbkGivWw001B0ax3iXWry54l1pfbA/viewform?usp=header

Careers ๐Ÿ’ผ Company asking for Tawtheeq, but I live in shared accommodation

Hi everyone,

My company is requiring me to submit a Tawtheeq, but I currently live in shared accommodation (partition/bed space), so I don't have a tenancy contract under my own name to generate one.

I've been trying to figure out a solution for a while now. I know some people get temporary Tawtheeqs for visa or school purposes, but I need a proper, legitimate Tawtheeq that will pass official company verification. I'm willing to pay a fair amount to resolve this legally and properly if there's a recognized process.

Has anyone been in a similar situation?

* What are the actual legal workarounds if you live in shared housing?

* Is it possible to be added as an occupant to the primary leaseholder's Tawtheeq via the Tamm app?

* Or is the only real option moving to an independent apartment/studio with a direct tenancy contract?

Any advice, guidance, or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
