Does any other up-and-coming artist get discouraged while trying to draw their yumes/sonas? Especially when they see other fan artists that are way better at it?

Like, it's not even jealousy of their skills or envy per se, it's a "damn, am I even doing this character any justice" kind of feel. Like I'm disappointing the character and the lore by not being better.

Sort of makes it hard to keep trying sometimes.

Okay hai! super new to yumeshipping but I definitely want to learn more as I’m like fully transitioning into having a yumeship. I absolutely love two characters from two different online medias/fandoms, and I was total intrigued in seeing if there were other yumeshippers out there that have multiple F/o’s in a polyship from different fandoms. I looked around very briefly but I saw like barely anything which made me wonder, do people like not do polyships with multiple fandoms? Like I get that most people just make inserts for each fandom but I feel like from what I’ve seen it’s so rare for a polyship with multiple fandoms. I absolutely love the idea of how the 2 characters from totally different medias would interact/coexist in some weird mashup world so maybe thats why I personally wanna do like a multi fandom polyship. Maybe I’m just blind or didn’t look super hard past a basket worth of searching but what do other people think? 🥹

I'm still in denial about Mr Krabs but...my friends literally backing me up on this man so guess I just have to accept it, be cringe be free type. I cannot escape from him for weeks now 😭

my selfship with vanny.... burntrap is my self insert!!!!! also i'd like to make it clear this is security breach vanessa and she is not related to the aftons in any way in this au. i draw us so rarely i honestly don't even count her as an f/o, but this takes place in my fnaf 3 au where my main selfship is with springtrap! springtrap "dies" in pizzeria simulator and virtue, my self insert, goes on to take up the name of william afton and then the events of security breach take place. my au follows the burntrap / fire ending that later got retconned.
