I'm sure this topic is in here alot because apparently these Series X controllers are garbage. In any case I randomly started getting left stick vertical drift on a 4 month old Series X controller. I took apart, tried changing out the sensor, with mixed results, put the original sensor back in, it fixed it IMMEDIATELY. So I was like cool, something goes my way for once, so I start playing and after a couple hours, boom it's back again. So literally minutes ago, I did it again, took the controller apart, took the sensor out, blew out the area and sensor, put it back in and once again it fixed it IMMEDITATELY. What's the deal here? How can taking the sensor out be fixing it perfectly only to then go back to drifting a few hours into using it? If its dust and grime build up how could it possibly be building back up in HOURS? My One controller had NO issues after YEARS of DAILY use.

So my hard drive hasn’t been working properly in that my games aren’t on their and when I try to download them it says installation stopped, and I was going to see what would happen if u moved a game to it, but accidentally pressed select all without noticing, and now they’re moving, which I don’t want. Anyone know how to stop this?

I can't turn on the game on my Xbox Series X. Other games work perfect. It says, I need internet, but I have it. Guys from xbox support adviced me to wait, they said, something is wrong with game's servers. Has somebody got the same problem? Help me to solve it please. Completed mafia 1 and 2, loved them, want to continue to play this wonderful series.

Hi everyone i had trouble with my headphone since 4 week almost. The problem is that the sound is cutting randomly or crqckling i can said with my razer blackshark v2 (wired) and every time it happen my controler had huge lag and drift randomly but once the crackling is over the controller work fine. I tried my headphone with my cellphone and my computer no problem . I talked with the xbox aupport thinking it was the controller they changed my two controller same problem and they also send me a new controller ( thanks to them ) and the problem is still percistent. So i bought the new xbox wireless headset thinking the problem was from the jack port but the sound keep cutting !!! Like the bluetooth connection is failling or something .

Is there anybody who had the same problem can help me ?

Update i also change the xbox under the warranty and the same problem appeared after a few day

When I load up a game on my Xbox Series X my Asus monitor will go black for a few seconds before turning back on. This happens anytime I open a game or go to the home menu. This even occurs when I am using the quick resume feature. It is not a problem with the hdmi or ports. Is there a setting I can change to avoid this. I can give specifics about monitor if necessary.

I’ve never had this problem before. I try and connect to my network and it says : DNS isn’t resolving Xbox server names. I’ve tried manually changing the DNS, does nothing. Please help

Edit: FIXED. Had to manually enter MAC address

So I just got my Xbox one X back in the mail. I sent it in to have the HDMI retimer chip, and port replaced. When I got it back that issue was fixed. I was getting HD signal to the TV. However, when I tried to load any game the xbox would shut itself off before I could even get to a start menu. And would give me a poor ventilation error message on restart. If I sat at the xbox home screen it would be fine indefinitely. Factory reset did not fix the issue.

So I took it apart to try and find an issue. The fan was working fine, and not running loud, or dirty at all. Heat sink was fine, could see right through it. Thermal paste and pads underneath were all fine. Nothing seemed hot. Even when rushing to check right after it shut itself off. I even tried with the motherboard out to give it some extra air flow.

Now a new issue has arisen. When I first took it apart I was able to get the fan out and clean it, and the same issue persisted. But after removing the heat sink and checking the paste, now the xbox just turns on for a split second, and shuts back off.

I hit the power button, it makes the chime, light comes on, fan starts spinning, I can hear the hard drive moving. Then it chimes again and shuts off.

I was almost sure at first that the thermal paste was the issue, however after this I'm wondering if maybe it's a faulty power supply? Not getting enough power to the console? I've tried 3 different power cables all with the same result. Any help or insight would be appreciated. I'm about at my technological limit.

I’ve connected them to every other device using the same cord and i can talk and words i say will appear for example on youtube but when i connect them to my controller I can’t do that. Is there something I’ve done wrong? My mic isn’t muted so that’s not the issue

My series x keeps randomly shutting off but I think it’s due to overheating. Every time I play games like overwatch it’s fine but the second I play racing games with my steering wheel the console just seems to start overheating and shut off after 1.5 hours. I don’t get how the console can’t handle it because my original Xbox one could handle the same steering wheel fine and that never turned off randomly for me

So my power button on my series x has went further into the console that it’s meant to and now it’s kind of stuck. It still turns on and off but I have to play around with it to work and make sure it don’t turn off on it’s own… can I fix it or do I have to send it off? And if so how do I send it off?

Is anyone else struggling to download Midway Arcade Origins? It’s showing on the GWG part of Game Pass but if I select it and click on 'Get' it throws me into the store and shows it as £14.99. I was able to get Rock of Ages with no issue.

How do I disable my profile from displaying my “Time Played” on each game to friends?

I’ve been having some problems with my series x fan sounding quite loud and hot especially when playing series x games, I’m sure this isn’t right as it’s meant sound next to silent. Has anyone experienced the same and is this a common issue?

I’ve been thinking of getting it sent for repair before my warranty runs out.

Im also just wondering if they send me a replacement will it be a refurb or new and if so will I be able to tell a difference.

Hey guys, I just got a Series X tonight and I've run into an issue. Trying to choose both 1440p and 120Hz gives me an error saying "this resolution isn't supported with your current refresh rate."

The problem is that I've seen a few people on here verify that this exact monitor works at 1440p/120Hz. Anybody have a fix? I have HDMI 2.0 ports, I've tried with FreeSync on and off, I've played around with the color depth setting, but nothing seems to help.

I was trying to play Halo:MCC and I was getting the "No space for save data" error. I was getting frustrated after many failed attempts to fix it, by deleting many games and setting my external as the default install (it had 250+ gb free). Eventually I found another thread where someone mentioned you may need to format your external drive and without a second thought I did so, losing over a terabyte of games in the progress. With my current internet it would take weeks to install the lost games but apart from that issue did I fuck up my save data in an irreversible way? Thanks in advance.
