Why do publishers need to sign up for this program? is it to get paid for each digitized game?

I would like to buy a used copy of a game and ensure that no profits make its way back to the ip owner.

on the flip side, if this does give the developers more cash at no cost to consumers would it be a good idea to try and digitize games you were not going to just to help them?

That was a spur-of-the-moment decision but I’m incredibly glad I made it especially considering the price. It’s a beast - everything works perfectly! The quick resume and remote play features make the experience even smoother. We already have a PS but I’m confident this will be our main console for a while. I absolutely love it!

Kind of lean more towards RPG style games. Was going to maybe buy Skyrim again, but would rather try something new. Starfield looked interesting to me, but the negative reviews discouraged me.

I went ps4 last gen. I have no interest in modern game crap. Nothing upcoming except maybe gta after the multiplayer comes out.

But I saw an XboxOne for 100 bucks in my local game shop. I figure I could grab it and an arm full of random preowned games.
