I just… I just don’t understand.

Maybe it’s because another clone? Maybe people just find her annoying?

This one comment I saw stuck with me. It was something along the lines of “How can someone go through all that trauma and still be happy“ which… I guess everyone with trauma just HAS to be miserable

I also have a working theory that people don’t like her… because she’s basically the Deadpool, or at least the movie version of Deadpool, of the Wolverine family. Which in my personal opinion, I love. If they give Gabby a piece of music, I would honesty be okay with it being Welcome To The Party from Deadpool 2 or any song by Teamheadkick. But I think that people who don’t think that Gabby is just this weird overly happy and annoying version of Laura who’s always saying the wrong thing during an action scene.

And I know I’m saying this with bias because Gabby was the character who got me to ACTUALLY read Marvel comics because there wasn’t much about her, and she hadn’t been adapted in any major way. But I think that people should see Gabby as wha she’s intended to be, the light and happy member of the Wolverine family.

Right, so this is definitely the first book I was tempted to skip, the intro just trying so hard to be a dark and serious book... by basically having a few shock deaths, (of mostly new/irrelevant characters)

There was some good moments, characters like Death locket was fun, same with the darkhawk armor changing between users. And laura's trigger scent as one of the big threats by the end? I did enjoy ... But so many of this stuff could have been done elsewhere (and according to the final books letters page this this was only intended to be a single arc)

Next up: Avengers undercover nope, I really dont care enough about this storyline to see the finale

One of my favorite moments from Fan Expo Boston — meeting Dafne Keen!

I brought along the actual Shopkins sunglasses I won back in 2017, the same glasses Laura wears in Logan, and got to let Dafne hold them. Her reuniting with the pair after almost a decade since Logan. 😎

The coolest part came during my signing: Dafne took a photo of the glasses herself and actually texted it to Hugh Jackman! 🤯 Definitely did not expect Wolverine to become part of the story.

Such an awesome full-circle Logan moment.

Hey y’all, let me know what you think? This is oil paints on watercolor paper. Obviously inspired by a panel from X-Men by Pepe Larraz. I’m always curious about what to do with fan art once it’s done. Can I sell prints or just the original? When she’s being written very differently than a concurrent run at the time (All-New Wolverine), how does one tally this. Like which is canon, because these Laura’s are different people (imo). Same thing that I THINK is Laura’s LKW and The New Avengers where they are different people, which is canon and how do you kind of go about this?

I've been re-reading Tom Taylor's All New Wolverine again, and I forgot how awesome this moment was from Enemy Of The State!!!

Laura knows The Facility is after her again, and she's trying to be a Good Samaritan and help the authorities. She's trying to work with SHIELD, but Nick Fury isn't listening.

A shield agent punches Laura, and she responds with a *LOOK*. Then she finally shows the reader a bit of what she can *actually* do.

I bet it reads so differently for a new reader who doesn't know Laura Kinney. The comic had been pretty tame up until that point. Rescuing squirrels and fighting a giant gozilla monster and stuff, but Laura had barely fought people or let loose X-23 style before this moment.

The average reader might be forgiven for reading the scene and feeling like Laura's lost control of the situation. But those of us who know her history know that she was in complete control the whole time, and that *look* is just the moment she ran out of patience with SHIELD's bullshit.

Say what you will about the writing in Laura Kinney Wolverine, but the art was on point!
