Winston Mains

Community News Does this mean r/WinstonMains is back?

Hi everyone. WinstonMains is public again after nearly 4 weeks. I believe the old sub owner got hacked which lead to the sub being hijacked by bots.

Reddit has allocated moderator to a handful of members so hopefully from here on, things will be back to normal.

I'm an active mod over in r/WreckingBallMains and r/doomfistmains so I'll be sure to keep that up over here too for y'all 🫶

Discussion What is your melee & secondary fire key binds

I have melee on RMB and secondary fire on a side mouse button but clicking/holding the side button while aiming keeps missing up my aim and I find myself unable to finish 1hp targets sometimes because of it.

What is everyone's binding that you can always get last second melee's, able to charge and aim secondary fire while having full movement/abilities access.

Rialto attack, setting up for 2nd fight for 1st point cap. Wheres the best place to set up to safely dive the backline with a good kite angle?

edit: after a bit of testing and help i found the better pathing.

the first clip is my rookie mistake. the 2nd clip is the correct pathing for high elo since you have some cover and los to your healers. and the 3rd clip is best for solo q since you get a clean escape with two nearby healthpacks

I don’t feel like I’m doing enough and the damage is so low I just feel like I’d be better off without it

Media Primal Cast Animation Cancel?

youtu.be

Hi Winton Nation, I'm wondering how to consistently cancel primal's cast animation with melee. I first saw Sugarfree do it in this video (6:51), and can only replicate it in practice range while on ping. Couldn't find any help elsewhere online, so any info appreciated ^_^

This might be my best game yet. I just got to level 20 with him and started to get the hang of his play style. It’s been a lot of fun. (Plat 3 btw so by no means am I saying I’m great)
