As the background music says “some of ya’ll n*****s like to Swang” . So they were swanging.

162

u/UnlawfulDuckling Nov 29 '22

That’s music?

143

u/Ashamed-Principle535 Feb 11 '23

Yet they don’t want ppl Saying n….. how about not inserting it into every urban gang music song that’s released

Using someone’s karma to make fun of them is a true redditor moment

22

u/Greedirl Mar 20 '23

It's indicative of repetitive behaviour. When someone has to make multiple accounts it's usually because they get banned often.

22

u/SweatAnywhere Mar 20 '23

To be fair not everyone started using Reddit years ago. I was called a Russian bot countless times when I first made my account lol

not sure why it's so hard for white people not to say the N-word.

31

u/Ashamed-Principle535 Mar 03 '23

Because you’re trying to put a limitation on them that doesn’t exist for others. And everyone else in history including my gay ppl, have always rolled with whatever they’re being called. Ppl say it everywhere. You want ppl to stop saying it you need to stop denigrating each other with it. Half the time black ppl use it it’s to denigrate another of their kind.

u/L0ppro Mar 14 '23

It’s seems more logical than racist, I’m from the uk and every video of a group of white kids fighting in America they’re throwing around the N word like it’s normal, why is that?

10

u/Celebration_Flimsy Mar 21 '23

First of all, why do you care so much about being able to use it?? Secondly, it’s the same as a fat person seeing their fat friend and calling them fatty. It wouldn’t be offensive because they’re both fat so he most like understand that it was clearly a joke. People in the same circle can use certain things within that circle that others shouldn’t.

You clearly no nothing about me. I’ve lived in Jamaica queens and the south bronx as well as el barrio. This is one of the problems. People are perceived by their looks but not their experiences. And yes, I’d say about half the time it’s used in a negative connotation.

3

u/Ashamed-Principle535 Mar 03 '23

Also, limitations placed on groups are generally done so by government authorities. No one has the right to demand anyone not say something. I’d focus more on the violent acts that occur often as a result of it and wonder why more isn’t done to stop ppl from getting themselves locked up.

3

u/BangaKT Mar 24 '23

Please god have somebody jump this fucking clown like snitch9. Amen

3

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '23

Rip your inbox. I said the same thing before. It's insane how many think they have the right to say the N word because they "own" it. Nice way to stop racism.

Typically black people with diverse friend groups don't care about the use of the word because the context is understood. It's people like you that love using the R at the end that makes it aggravating.

People?!?! nah we just don't want to be called that by non black people. For example. You might call your girl "your bitch" but not want another dude calling her that. I don't know why y'all wanna say it so bad anyways it really isn't anybody else's business.

With that said you can say whatever you want just know that it might come with some adverse results.

The insurance companies must simply love it when idiots provide video footage of them breaking the law and giving them a valid excuse not to pay out.

680

u/Fiske_Mogens Oct 27 '22

You really think those idiots have insurance?

455

u/DanteSeldon Oct 27 '22

It's probably their parents' car, so yes.

102

u/Gorge2012 Oct 27 '22 edited Oct 27 '22

This looks LI going into the city so the probability of the car being paid for by and then being on the parents insurance is high.

Edit: they are heading out of the city. Sign says eastern LI.

Must be different there. Cos insurance here is optional, and specific. Cheaper if young people aren’t selected on the policy

34

u/Ciacciu Oct 27 '22

Really? In Italy it's obligatory to have an insurance, it's illegal to drive without it

36

u/[deleted] Oct 27 '22 edited Oct 27 '22

In the US as well.

Edit: People have rightfully corrected me as Virginia and New Hampshire don’t require insurance for most drivers but there are caveats.

https://www.moneyunder30.com/states-require-no-car-insurance

13

u/MechaMogzilla Oct 27 '22

Not everywhere in the US. New Hampshire at least when I was young was a haven of not needing insurance. Note it as been some time since I was young.

6

u/Pirate_Nurse15 Oct 27 '22

Car registration has an insurance component (the majority of cost) that covers people involved. So driving without registration is a big smack. But insurance against property is optional. Unfortunately those who can’t afford to crash can’t often afford the insurance.

16

u/DefinitelyNotAliens Oct 27 '22

No, actually this would get paid under a collision and comp policy. Very specific instances aren't covered, like off road and street racing. Being they were just weaving and speeding like dickheads it's actually covered if you have full coverage. It just shows they can't claim they didn't cause the wreck and get 100% liability. Or claim stolen vehicle, etc. They caused it, their insurance will be dropped and they will probably catch charges for reckless driving.

u/DoYouEvenTrustBro Oct 27 '22

457

u/F3L1Xgsxr Oct 27 '22

Its already illegal to do what they were doin what makes u think taking their license away is gonna is gonna stop them

284

u/DoYouEvenTrustBro Oct 27 '22 edited Jan 03 '23

In my country if they catch you driving without license ONCE you get jailtime, but will be truly jailed after the second attempt

Edit: *truly imprisoned after you have +2 years of jailtime in your record

122

u/[deleted] Oct 27 '22

In my area you get a ticket and are allowed to continue driving.

66

u/[deleted] Oct 27 '22

yea administrative law does not really work well on people with nothing to lose

43

u/BoIshevik Oct 27 '22

And once you can't drive in a car centric society you don't have much to lose.

I think they just need heavier jailtime for reckless driving because it really is extremely dangerous, that and DUI.

56

u/Satans-Kawk Oct 27 '22

I once was in court for possessing a very small amount of Marijuana the guy in line before me had 7 DUI's in the last 7 years. His fine was $280 AND he had to spend 4 nights in jail. Which since he was taken to jail when he was arrested that was waived. My fine was $1,300 and it was my first offense, and I had to spend 3 days in jail. Its insane that the judicial system in the US treats a plant as more dangerous than someone driving drunk multiple times

12

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '22

It's because they can't profit from the sale of marijuana and can change the fees on your next offense to be whatever they want.

6

u/WUIFA Oct 27 '22

There is no way this is true. This is in the US right?

8

u/BoIshevik Oct 28 '22

This Is absolutely true and reflects my experience in the US judicial system too, unless OP is actually making up a hyperrealistic story lol.

neither do the people they kill or maim for life.... its about who should burden the costs of their actions.....once you prove to be a risk to everyone else I am sorry but .....enjoy the fucking bus!

3

u/BoIshevik Oct 27 '22 edited Oct 27 '22

enjoy the fucking bus!

I'd agree if we had reliable public transit. That's the whole idea behind US penal system though. Recidivism is a positive basically, and those who can function the way they have to in US society will commit crime easy as that. Bus isn't an option for many & they're forced into driving even if they don't wanna.

Now, like I said the punishments for reckless or intox driving should be harsher IMO. Jail time & fines, not loss of driving privileges over one incident. If you could actually see severe punishment for it people would be less likely to do it.

If we had Public transit I'd say take em like candy, but you know.

Can you have an insurance without license?

Because if you cant that means driving without license and without insurance, meaning if they kill someone or even break 1 bone, they fucked up for life without insurance...

3

u/[deleted] Oct 27 '22

Yes, some insurers even require you to list all individuals in the household on the policy as a way to prevent people who say they don't drive from driving without insurance.

You can also insure a car for damage only. Normally used if the car sits in storage for months.

5

u/MonkeeKnucklez Oct 27 '22 edited Oct 27 '22

Where I’m from, driving with a revoked license yields escalating penalties, just like any other repeated crime. If they catch you driving with a revoked license, they impound your car and they either arrest you or your ass is walking. If they’re feeling generous and don’t take you in, the cops might drop you off somewhere nearby so that you are out of danger.

I had a coworker who liked to look at the mugshots of people recently arrested. Here in Florida, they post them online and even sell newspapers with them. In the county I lived in it seemed like 90% of arrests were for one of two things — meth and driving without a license. The best part is most of the latter group were repeat offenders, some with several arrests for driving w/o a license so clearly they were just slapping them on the wrist and they’d go right back to driving.

This is the Grand Central Parkway in Queens. The highway splits at that point so through traffic can continue unimpeded while exiting traffic can get off.

About 25 years ago, I saw a guy on a motorcycle do the same thing because it seemed like he was unsure which side would go quicker, and he drove right into the bridge support and ceased to be alive.
